《The Hybridz | TBZ✔》Chapter 38 | Blue

“Can’t we go take an evening swim, Y/N? In the sunset?” Jacob asked one night.
“We only have a few bicycles”, I said, wondering how to do this.
“We can walk too”, Sangyeon said.
“Okay, okay, we can go.”
They all cheered. We changed into swimwear and started walking in the sunset. They were joking and playing with each other. They were chasing each other, it was so cute. Chanhee and Changmin walked by my side, not wanting to play with the others.
“I’m happy. I’ll get to swim”, Chanhee smiled.
“I’m happy that you’re happy”, I said. “Just don’t drown, okay?”
“I won’t drown, don’t worry. I'm like a fish in the water!”
He laughed and hurried to catch up with Eric. I looked at Changmin who was walking beside me, looking blue.
“What is it?”
“Nothing...I’ll tell you later”, he said quietly. “I don’t want to ruin anything.”
I took his hand and he smiled slightly, but I could still see a pain behind it.

We came to the beach.
“How about we take Y/N and throw her into the water?” Juyeon smirked.
“Hey, wait-”, i said in protest, but it was too late.
Eric grabbed my arms, Kevin took my legs and Juyeon held a hand under my back to hold me up. They threw me into the water without any mercy. I was so scared that my bikini top would untie with the force, but it seemed to stay in place. As soon as I reached the surface, the others jumped in, the waves going right into my mouth. I started coughing and Kevin swam to me, holding his arm around my waist before swimming to the bridge.
“Cough out the fishes”, he grinned.

“It’s your fault”, I said.
“My fault? Juyeon said that we should throw you in!”
Chanhee swam over to us. “Hi.”
“Y/N is trying to drink up the lake. She doesn’t understand that we have water at home”, Kevin said.
“Kevin, shut the fuck up”, I coughed.
He laughed and helped me to the shore. I went to dry myself.

That night when I was going to sleep, a hamster snuck into my room. He looked very sad, even sadder than before.
"What's wrong, Changmin?" I asked.
Tears managed to escape his eyes, but he covered his face with his hands so I wouldn't be able to see it. His shoulders were shaking slightly from the sobs.
"I-I miss home", he said quietly and sat down on the bedside.
"Aw, sweetheart, why?"
"I don't know. I just do."
"Is it because there is no TV or internet here?"
He shook his head at my bad joke. "I don't know why...I'm not familiar with this house…"
"We'll go home in two weeks. You can do two weeks, right?"
Changmin nodded slightly.
"Can I sleep with you tonight?" he asked then, slightly embarrassed.
"Sure, come", I said and scooted over so he could climb down.
"I apologize in beforehand. I can move around a lot and maybe bite you...I get quite energetic at night…"
“Bite me and I’ll kill you.”
“Okay...I’ll try to not do it. Good night.”
“Good night, Changmin.”

RELINQUISH
Sometimes I wonder why the world isn't decorated with something as cool as magic... Why can't we manipulate the laws of the world? Why does the story about God sound too fake to be believed? Why the hope for this world to be saved from the bottom of everyone's heart can never be fulfilled... Then I landed on each conclusion from each of those questions... That humans are the most cunning, meanest and stupidest creatures who are most desperately expected to not have any power including magic itself. That it is not God that we should believe in, because they themselves do not believe in how disgusting human nature really is. That everyone's hope is not for the world to be saved, but for the world to be destroyed in order to save their own selves. That the world from the beginning, was not meant to be saved... (I frequently revise and update the use of sentences in the previous chapters without disturbing the original storyline. so sometimes it takes me a little longer to publish a new chapter.) I have the same novel posted on another website (Webnovel.com , creativenovels.com) with the same name (RELINQUISH)
