《The Hybridz | TBZ✔》Chapter 35 | The Best Liar

I hate everyone that comes close to Y/N. That shouldn’t be a surprise by now. Not even to me, but it gets me every time anyway.

We all went back to the water since Y/N had suggested, but we couldn’t keep playing and joking knowing that those two people were here. The girl gave me goosebumps and the guy made me angry.

“I hate them”, I whispered to Younghoon.

“Me too”, he whispered.

“If he looks at her again I will break his ribs”, Juyeon growled.

“I will do it before you”, I said.

“Guys, calm down or Y/N will notice that something’s wrong”, Jacob said and stood in front of us, covering us so Y/N wouldn’t see our faces. “Let’s talk about that later, alright? Let’s try to enjoy ourselves instead so Y/N can be happy.”

“Fine.”

We pretended to have fun until Kevin came up with a good idea.

“Who is Y/N’s baby? Someone that she would drop everything for?” he asked.

“Chanhee”, we all answered.

Kevin went over to Chanhee who was diving, trying to touch the bottom of the lake for some weird reason. I followed to hear the plan.

“Chanhee, Chanhee”, Kevin said and jumped into the water next to him. “I have an idea.”

“What?” Chanhee asked.

“Pretend that you hurt yourself somehow and tell Y/N that we have to go home because it hurts so bad.”

“Why?”

“So we can get her away from those two!”

“Ah, okay, okay. I’ll try.”

“Don’t mess it up, Pingu or I swear that I am going to kill you.”

“Calm down, grandpa.”

“Go. Now.”

Chanhee sighed and dived under the surface, only to come up with the best poker face. He was whimpering in pain, almost crying.

He’s such a good liar, why haven’t I seen that before? Oh wait…

Chanhee was crying in false pain as he limped up onto the beach. Everyone looked at him to see if he could fool her enough. He could have fooled us enough.

That makes me think...how many times has he lied to get what he wanted?

“Excuse me”, Y/N said to her friends and hurried up to where he now sat on the ground, holding his foot. “What happened?”

“I-I hit my foot on something in the lake”, Chanhee whimpered.

“Let me feel.”

As soon as she touched his foot, he hissed and she was quick to pull her hand away.

“W-We need to go home” Chanhee cried.

“I know, I know, let me just go tell my friends.”

When she turned her back to us, Chanhee looked back at us with a smirk on his face.

Good job, Pingu, good job.
