《The Hybridz | TBZ✔》Chapter 30 | You're As Guilty As The Others

One and a half week had passed since my hybrids got arrested. I was so lonely and empty, not moving at all. I could hear the doorbell ring and I had to drag myself over to the door, ready to see another police officer.
I’ve already answered their stupid questions. Why can’t they just leave me alone?
I opened the door and was met by a huge surprise. There they were, my beautiful hybrids. They stood there like angels, smiling. It was too good to be true.
"O-Oh God…”
I stumbled backwards in shock, holding my hands over my face while crying. I couldn’t believe it.
“Y/N!” Kevin smiled as they all went over to me.
Younghoon helped me stand and he embraced me in a tight hug, letting me cry into his chest.
"God, we've missed you so much", he whispered, resting his head on top of mine.
"I-Is this real?" I asked in disbelief as I pulled back. "This can't be real…"
"It's real", Sunwoo smiled.
"God, Y/N, you look so bad!" Changmin said in worry. "You're thinner and...and you look…"
"I know...don't worry about it…"
"Hey, wait...is that my hoodie?" Sunwoo asked.
"Wha-...oh, yeah...it's yours…I-I can give it back-"
"No, no, keep it for as long as you want!"
"H-How did you get out?"
"They couldn't find enough evidence to prove that it was us. And if they would have, it would be hard to tell which one it was and how many were involved", Juyeon said calmly.
"Y-You must be hungry, I'll make-"
"Y/N, calm down", Chanhee said, holding my shoulders. "Let’s order something. You are not in the condition to use either knives or the stove."
"I have an idea", Sangyeon said. "To celebrate that everything is okay again, why don't we cuddle up in the living room and sleep there together tonight?"

I nodded. I didn't want anything more than that.

I came into mine, Jacob’s, Jaehyun’s and Changmin’s room and breathed out. A wave of relief washed over me. We were home, we were safe. We wouldn't go anywhere and neither would Y/N. I felt slight anger when we were at the police. I had not done anything. It was only Kevin and Juyeon. Fine, I was present, but I never agreed to it.
You never told them not to. You're as guilty as the others.
I forced the thoughts out and grabbed my blankets and pillows before walking downstairs. There she stood. She stood with her back against he wall, wearing only Sunwoo’s hoodie while trying not to cry. It warmed my heart. She was as happy to see us as we were to see her.

Survival Recommended
The universe is destroyed and its inhabitants are thrown into Existence. Eli finds himself in a new world, with a new body, and a System that's more interested in how he'll die. Follow him on his journey of survival in Realms above ours. The story is already completely planned as far as major plot elements go, and it's LONG, chinese novel long. The premise isnt exactly the most original, but after a couple chapters you won't mistake it for any other novel. Be warned this has little in the way of childish wish fufillment and lots of characters are going to die, so don't get too attached. As this is my first attempt at writing, the begining will probably be a bit rough. Please don't shy from criticisms, and I plan to rewrite most of the begining chapters as I get better.
