I was chained. I could lift my arms, but they were so heavy thanks to the chains so I just let them rest on the table. This room was small, cramped. It smelled weird in here.

"So, Juyeon", a police officer said as he came inside. "I've talked with Y/N..."

"How is she?" I asked quickly.

"She's fine. But that's not what I'm here to discuss."

"Fine then..."

"She showed me CCTV of you walking about and coming home bloody around the time the murder of the two criminals happened."

"Alright..."

"What did you do?"

"I had a lot on my mind so I couldn't sleep. I decided to take a walk to clea."

It wasn't a huge lie. I did take a walk...to murder them. But he didn't need to know that.

"You came home drenched in blood...what happened?"

"I was walking and three guys came up and started bothering me. Being one against three worked as well as you may think. I got away with only a knife wound on my rib. They managed to cut me."

"Show me it."

"Show you? It's healed by now."

"Then show me where it was."

I held my hand right where I had cut myself. That's right. I had cut myself to make my story more believable for Y/N. The officer nodded and leaned back in his chair.

"What did these men look like?"

I gave him the most generic description I could of a basic human. I couldn't care less.

"You were at our home, weren't you?"

"I was. I asked her some questions."

I swear, if you touched her I will end your pathetic life. It doesn't matter if you're a cop. It doesn't matter if I do it right in front of your colleagues. I will do it.

I sighed deeply and breathed out in frustration. I hated this man. I hated him with my entire heart. He had taken me and my brothers from our home and our owner. Taken us from our comfort and security. He even made us leave Y/N...anything could happen to her if we weren't there to protect her. I hated him so badly.

"Why are you so frustrated? Feeling uneasy?" the cop asked.

"Pfft", I scoffed. "My owner is home alone not too long after her parents got killed...what do you think? I am worried for her."

"You can't be worried. You're a hawk."

"I can be worried when it comes to my family."

"Family?" the cop laughed. "You mean your owner and the other hybrids? You're not even the same animals!"

"We don't need to be. Y/N said that we're a part of her family now and her words are the law."

"I would beg to differ. I am the law."

"It was a metaphor, you stupid bit-"

"Shut up."

Make me, dipshit.
