One saturday, I decided to take them to the park for a trip.

“We’ll behave, I promise”, Jaehyun grinned. 

They put on their jackets and followed me outside. They walked obediently, not causing any trouble...until we came to the park. 

“Look, it has been snowing!” Chanhee smiled and crouched down, letting his hand touch the cold substance on the ground. 

Eric bent down and formed a ball in his hand. He stood up and threw the ball on the penguin with such force that he stumbled forward and had to catch himself with both hands. 

“Stop!” Chanhee said annoyed.

“Eric!” I said firmly and went over to Chanhee to help him up. “Seriously, Eric, it’s not fun.”

His ears started to turn downwards, showing his shame. They stayed like that until Kevin threw a snowball right on the back of his head. A snowball fight broke out between the hybrids. The only ones that didn’t want to be in it were Haknyeon and Changmin. They hid behind me to get away. We started walking around slightly, but not getting too far away.

“Hey, Chanhee!” I shouted, gaining his attention. “There is a pond here, do you want to come?”

He nodded and started jogging towards me. I couldn’t help but smile. His waddling was so cute. He saw the pond and put down his hand into the water. Haknyeon made a grimace, not understanding how Chanhee wasn’t freezing.

“I’m cold”, he said and scooted closer to me. 

“Me too”, I said.

“You’re cold?” Sangyeon asked, coming towards me. “Let me warm you up.”

“Give it your best shot.”

He stood behind me and wrapped me in a hug, holding me close to his warm body. The ones having the snowball fight started running to us, complaining about the others.

The next day, we went to the zoo. They wanted to see their animals and connect with them. Not everyone came with me, only the ones having their animals in that place. That meant Sangyeon, Younghoon, Juyeon, Kevin, Chanhee, Sunwoo and Eric. Most of them were the predators. 

“Hold my hand”, Eric said as we went into the zoo. 

I took his hand and we started walking around. They seemed so fascinated by the animals they were part of. 

“Do you all see how majestic that is?” Juyeon asked, completely amazed, pointing at the hawk. “Do you see that?!”

“Yes, Juyeon, we do”, I smiled, thinking he looked cute. “Let’s move to the next animal.”

The next animal happened to be penguins. Chanhee hurried over to the glass wall and looked into the water. He could see penguins swimming around. We stood there, looking at the penguins for a while until the others wanted to leave for the next. 

“Chanhee, come on now”, I said, holding out my hand. “Let’s go.”

He nodded sadly and took my hand. We went to the bears, but were met by something sad.

“What a bummer”, Sangyeon sighed. “They’re hibernating. I wanted to see the bears…”

“You can see them when spring comes, I promise”, I said, hoping he would cheer up. 

“Hopefully…”
