I woke up and Willow was still asleep. I went downstairs to get some water and clean up a little when Willow joined me in the kitchen.

"Did I wake you up?"

"No Jace my bladder did." She laughed.

"Why don't we take the rental car back and go to the bar for a burger?" I said.

"Sounds good just need to change." She said walking back upstairs so I follow her to change as well.

I follow her to the rental place in my truck and once she's done she jumps in my truck and we head over to the bar.

Ross sees us walk in and smiles and I throw up two fingers and he knows what we want.

She sits down beside me and I pull her close and kiss her temple. "It's nice to be back home isn't it?"

"It is Jace. This is where I am supposed to be with you." She smiles at me.

While we wait on our food someone walks up to our table and I look up to see Jackie's husband Randy.

"I'm sorry guys but can I speak to you a minute?" He said.

"Sure Randy have a seat. What's up?" I said.

"Umm I don't know where to begin but I just want to apologize for Jackie and what she's done. I know she's annoyed both of y'all and when I confronted her she came unglued."

"Oh wow!" Willow said.

"Yeah, she hit me and threatened to shoot me and hurt the kids. She's in jail right now. She's been acting funny and well she's been on a bunch of different pills but I just wanted y'all to know she won't be bothering you. Once she gets out of jail she's going into treatment." He said.

"I'm sorry to hear this Randy but yeah she's been acting crazy lately. Well since Willow came back to town." I said.

"Yeah I know she has and there is no excuse pills or not." He said.

"We figured it would get worse when she found out we were engaged," Willow said holding up her hand.

"Wow, congrats! But I don't want to take up more of your time but just wanted you to know." He said.

"Thanks, Randy!" I said as he got up and headed over to the bar.

Willow looked at me... "Wow, I can't help but feel sorry for the guy and all those kids. Maybe Jackie will get help but it won't change her nasty ways."

"Your right about that babe," I said just as Ross brings our food over.

"Back for good now Willow?" He asked.

"Yup we made it back last night and check this out, Ross." Willow smiles holding out her hand.

"Oh wow, what a rock! Congrats guys! I always knew you two belonged together." He said before walking off.

"I always knew that too Willow." I lean over for a kiss before grabbing the ketchup.

After we eat we took a drive before heading back home. She reaches over and laces her fingers with mine.

We pull up at the house and head inside. Willow went upstairs to change so she could work on clearing out her boxes.

I went to the garage and got some empty totes so I could help her.

She walked out smiling. "You don't have to help me Jace this is all my mess."

"I don't mind helping then we can get our vehicles inside of here." I smile.

"Yeah, and we need to get you some tools in here." She said.

"I will get some sooner or later. So how many more days are you off?" I ask.

"Mom gave me the rest of the week off but now that Christmas is over I'd like to get back to my business and get the word out about my interior design."

"Well, I bet your mom will be your first customer because she is wanting to change that store around." I laugh.

"You are probably right about that." She smiles emptying a bin.

We clean out a few more bins and decide to take a rest.

"I think since I'm off I'm going to start figuring out wedding stuff." She said.

"I like that idea," I said joining her on the couch.

"What if we just have a small wedding in the backyard come spring? The sun will be shining even if it's not all that warm yet?" She asked.

"I like that idea. It's not like we would be inviting a bunch of people anyway." I said.

"I'll talk to Casey about it and get some ideas even though I have an idea of my own." She smiles.

"I'll go along with whatever you want Willow as long as I get to marry you in the end," I said.

"What about something like this? An arbor with lights and flowers? Just something simple. Maybe pink and white flowers?" She smiled laying her head on my chest.

"That's perfect Willow," I said running my fingers through her hair.

"You're going to put me to sleep doing that." She mumbles.

I laugh to myself because I know she's already dozing. I take her phone out of her hand and smile. If she wants an arbor I'm sure I could build her one. I lay her phone on the table beside me and finish the show I was watching.

A little while later she wakes up stretching. "Was I snoring?"

"Not too bad. You ready to go to bed?" I ask.

"As if you couldn't tell. I'm just exhausted, Jace."

I grab our phones and make sure the doors are locked and the alarm set and we head upstairs to bed.

I plug our phones up and go brush my teeth before joining her in bed. I love when I can snuggle Willow in bed. I can't wait to make her my wife.

I wrap my arm around her and pull her close. She laces her fingers in mine and lets out a sigh before we both drift off to sleep.
