After I dropped Willow off at the store I decided it was time to ring shop and Casey met me downtown to help.

When I called Jon to ask to speak to Casey I had to explain why and she was more than excited to help me pick a ring. That was after I talked to Henry. He was more than happy to give his blessing.

I pull up at the jewelry store and Casey jumps out of her car to meet me. "I'm so excited Jace!" She said as we walked inside.

An older lady met us at the door asking if she could help and I explained I was looking for an engagement ring and then Casey spoke up and said for her best friend.

We looked at so many rings until I spotted the one. It was calling my name. "What about that one Casey?" I ask.

"Holy crap that is so Willow!" She smiled.

I asked to see the ring and when I got a closer look I knew this one was the one.

I purchased it and the lady wrapped it up real pretty for me. "I guess I'm all set and ready to propose on new year's eve," I said to Casey.

"Instead of going downtown why don't we just have a party and all celebrate together she won't think anything of it. I can plan it all." She said.

"Really you would help with that?" I ask.

"Of course! Want to have it at your place or mine?" She asked.

"Our place just talk to Willow about it and suggest the party she will be all for it," I said.

"Sounds good I'll call her today. Thanks for including me in picking out the ring. She's going to love it." Casey smiles.

"I sure hope so." I said.

"No problem see you in a few days when you propose!" She said waving bye and got in her car.

I made it home and hid the ring and ended up putting more of our stuff away and fixing the closet and set up the extra bed in the spare room.

I even fixed the office up for Willow when she gets her Interior design business going again.

A few hours later I went picked her up from work and we stopped picked up items to make for dinner with the parents.

"So Casey called me today and she wants us to have a New Years Party which I think sounds great. How do you feel about it?" She asked.

"Sounds good with me. Have it at the house and invite Ben and Noah and Jordan too?" I asked.

"Sounds great! I told her you probably wouldn't mind. She and Jon can leave the kids with their parents and we can celebrate." She smiled.

"Sounds great tell her we are on and I'll help you pay for the food and snacks," I said loading the bags in the truck.

When I get in the truck she's smiling. "I'm excited and so is Casey." She smiled.

"I'm so happy you are because I am too," I said pulling up at the house. I grab the bags and follower her inside the house.

I sit the bags on the table and follow her upstairs to change clothes and get comfy. I watch her strip to her panties and change into some shorts and a t-shirt and she turns around and smiles.

"What are you looking at?" She smiles.

"Just how beautiful you are Willow." I smile walking over to her and holding her in my arms.

She kisses me. "Come on we have to get dinner started for our parents."

I grabbed the steak and went out to the grill with them as she worked on the potatoes and asparagus.

A little while later the doorbell went off and Willow opened it to our smiling parents.

"Oh Willow honey this is beautiful," Mila said.

"Thanks, mom! You guys come in we are just fixing dinner. Have a look around." She smiled.

Henry patted me on the back. "You did good Jace. My princess looks very happy." He smiled.

"We both are very happy." I smiled before walking back out to the grill.

My dad followed me out to the grill. "It looks, good son. Where did you get all the new furniture?"

"Oh Casey's father-in-law owns a discount store in town and we were able to get stuff," I said flipping the steaks.

"Ben and Noah help too?" He asked.

"Yeah and Jordan and Jon Casey's husband," I said.

"Your brother looks happy huh?" He said

"He does dad. Did you know? I mean that he was gay?" I asked.

"I had a feeling but since he didn't say I didn't bring it up." He shrugged.

"He's very happy and we are happy for him. So umm I got Henry's permission to propose to Willow and Casey helped me pick out the ring today." I smiled.

"When are you going to do it?" He asked.

"New years eve," I said just as Willow and the others came out to check out the backyard.

"This is such a beautiful house," Mila said.

"I've had it for a few years. But just rented it out but I'm happy it was available." Dad said.

The food was done and we carried it inside and laughed and talked around the table.

It was around Nine when they all left and I helped Willow clean up before heading upstairs to bed.

"I think they liked the place, Jace." She smiled.

"Yeah, they did. Your dad told me I done well." I smiled.

"My mom is so happy that I'm staying." She smiled.

"Did you notice I put everything away and set up your office for you if you decide to do interior design," I said.

"I noticed that when I showed my parents the room. Thank you it looked beautiful." She smiled.

"I hope to get some action with you on top of that desk," I smirk.

"Is that why you cleaned the room for me?" She smirked as she climbed into bed.

"Maybe!" I said rolling over on top of her.
