I can't get Jace off of my mind. This morning was something else and when I walk into the shop Edward smirks at me. It's like he just knows when I've had sex. I walk by him and smirk. "Hush."

He laughs and walks over to me. "You got that glow girl."

"I'm just happy." I smile at him as my mom walks up. "Morning guys! We have more ornaments to price and hang today."

"That's what we do every day mom!" I laugh.

"True but we get to move more stuff around and make room for the engraver." She said.

"Also we need to put a sign up on the door that says we do engraving," I said.

"That's a great idea, Willow. So when will the engraver be here?" She asked.

"Today or tomorrow," I said.

I went to grab some coffee and sit down on my stool and begin pricing ornaments. It's like the hours run together when that's all you do the whole day.

I had to get up and walk out back to get some air. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and texted Jace.

📱Hey there! I'm taking a break I needed to get out of the store for a few. I'm sitting around back. I miss you!

📱Hey beautiful! I miss you too. Just sitting on the tailgate eating my sandwich before we head back your way to drop off trees.

📱Gotcha! Well, you be careful coming back I just wanted to check-in.

📱I will see you in a couple of hours. Want to grab some food at the Bar?

I slip my phone back in my pocket and return inside to work on ornaments when I look up and spot Jackie. She's with a nice looking guy and five kids. Wow, they look like her too. I sure hope not bullies.

I smile at the kids and return to what I'm doing. When Jackie walks up to the counter I'm shocked she's smiling and trying to be nice.

"Hi." She said.

"Can I help you with something Jackie?" I asked as professionally as I could.

"Yeah, I was curious about this engraving. The kids want to do some." She said.

"It should be here today or tomorrow and any ornament you pick out we can engrave for a small fee," I said as her husband walks up.

"Randy honey this is Willow an old classmate of mine." She said.

"Oh, nice to meet you. I don't recall seeing you around." He said.

"Nah just back for the month helping my parents," I said to him.

"We will be back to get some engraved stuff thanks, Willow," Jackie said walking off in her high heels that she about twisted her ankle in.

After they left Edward walked over. "God I can't stand her."

"'Me either! The other night she found out where Jace lived and she left a note and rose taped to his door saying meet me at the bar and we can have fun." I said rolling my eyes.

"No, she didn't." Edward sighed.

"She did and if I was mean and catty I could have said something to Randy right then but I'm too nice of a person and I already have Jace so I don't have to compete with her." I smile.

"Yes, you do honey!" Edward snaps his fingers.

I can't help but laugh at him. We finish up for the day and I text Jace to say I'm going back to his apartment wait on him.

I hadn't been there but maybe fifteen minutes when he and Noah walk in. "Hey, guys!" I smile.

Jace walks over and leans down and kisses my lips. "Hey." He said.

"Hey Willow!" Noah said sitting down next to me.

"How was today?" I asked.

"Busy!" Noah laughs as Jace went to change clothes.

"While he's not in the room can I talk to you?" Noah asked nervously.

"Of course! What's up?" I ask.

"I've been seeing someone and I'm not sure how Jace will react." He said.

"Why what's wrong?" I ask.

"It's a guy Willow. His name is Jordan and I'm scared." He said.

"I'll talk to him over dinner don't worry ok. Then you can bring him over and we will have dinner together." I said.

"Thank you, Willow. I'm so scared and I don't know how he will react." He said.

"It would surprise you Noah I think he already knows. But I'll talk to him." I smile at him.

"You are the best thing that ever happened to him and I want to share my happiness." He said.

"Don't you worry about it. Also, I need your help. I bought him the tires he wanted for Christmas do I try to sneak the truck and get them to put on or let him do it?" I ask.

"Let him do it. He's so picky about his truck." Noah laughed as Jace walked out.

"What's so funny?" Jace asks.

"We were just shooting the shit bro. Y'all have a good dinner." Noah said walking to his room.

I get up and walk over to Jace and kiss his lips. "Let's go I'm hungry!"

"Can we take the Tesla?" He asked

"Of course we can." I smile at him.

We pull up at the bar and when Ross sees us he holds up two fingers and Jace nods.

"We really need to eat healthy Jace." I laugh.

"We don't do it every day so it's all good. Guess who came into the store with her hubby and kids?" I smirk.

"Jackie?" He laughs.

"Trying to be all nice telling her husband that we went to school together. I should have told him what she does. But I was nice and honestly, he seemed like a nice man and deserves better." I said.

"There isn't a truer statement Willow." Jace smiles over at me and puts his hand on my leg under the table.
