I feel myself dozing off and moving. I opened my eyes for a second and my head is in Jace's lap. I doze back off to sleep until I hear him laughing and his stomach shakes against my head.

I open my eyes and look up at him. "Was I snoring?" I laugh.

"Not too loud." He smiles and runs his finger through my hair.

He's staring into my eyes and it feels like he's looking into my soul. My body is telling me I want Jace but my mind says stop you don't want to hurt him.

I blink away and look at the Christmas tree before I sit up. I turn to him and giggle. "You still have that weird mark near your nipple?" I ask.

"What in the world Willow. That's a birthmark you turd!" He laughed.

"I remember seeing it when we were kids and I was mesmerized by it." I laugh.

"No, I'm not showing it to you." He said.

"Why not? If it's just a birthmark. Did it grow?" I ask.

"No, it didn't grow." He laughed.

"Then let me see," I said getting up and straddling him.

"This isn't a good idea Willow." He points to me on his lap.

"Why Jace?" I whispered.

"Because I've always wanted you in this position with me." He said moving my hair off my shoulder.

"Just let me see the birthmark and I'll move," I said.

"Fine but the birthmark is no longer there. I covered it with a tattoo." He said.

"You did?? I'm really curious now Jace."

"Don't make fun ok?" He said putting his hands on my hips.

"Promise," I said as I slowly pull up his shirt. Damn those abs are on point and he looks really good.

As I lift up the shirt I see a red heart that's not all that big and on one side of the heart, I see WO. I gasp and look at Jace.

"That's why I didn't want you to see it, Willow." He said.

"Are those my initials Jace?"

"Of course because you have always had my heart, Willow."

I had no words for him and instead, I pull him close until my lips are on his. I kiss him softly at first until his tongue brushes mine. I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him deeper.

When I pull back and look at him he's staring into my eyes and not saying anything. "When did you get that Jace?"

"Right after you left Vermont. But no one has ever seen it either. You are the first." He said.

I run my finger over his skin and outline the heart. I'm not sure how I'm feeling but I know my body wants him.

He grips my hips harder and I bite my bottom lip as I trace the bottom of the heart. "Jace if you don't take me home I'm going to end up naked in your bed," I said.

"I don't want to take you home Willow. I want you in my bed. Can't you feel what you do to me?" He asked.

"It's not a good idea Jace," I said getting off his lap.

He sighs loudly. "Your right Willow... I'm only thinking about my dick." He laughs.

"Maybe but that tattoo is pretty special Jace." I smile.

He stands up and pulls me into his arms and hugs me. "I'm really glad you came over and helped with the tree."

"Me too. Now take me home so I can sleep. I have an early day of ornament hanging." I laugh.

"Yeah, and I have a lot of trees to cut down so let's go." He said.

We put on our jackets and boots and head out to his truck. It doesn't take long to get to my parent's house. He pulls into the driveway and he puts it in park.

"Do you want to come in Jace?" I ask.

"Nah I better go back home and get some sleep too. See you later Willow." He said leaning over the center console and kissing my lips.

"I hope my mom wasn't looking out the window and saw that." I laugh and pull him in for another kiss.

He chuckles... "Nite Willow be safe on the sidewalk.

"Nite Jace and thanks!" I jump out of the truck and shut the door and walk slowly up the sidewalk into the house.

My parents are asleep and who knows if Ben is here. I tiptoe to my room and change my clothes and got into bed.

I close my eyes when my phone beeps.

The next morning I'm up early eating breakfast with mom and dad and she is just looking at me.

"Did you help Jace get his tree up?"

"Yeah mom it looked decent but he needed better stuff but it's cute for his first tree," I said taking a bite of egg.

"Where is Ben?" Dad asked.

"He left early with Jace and Noah said they had lots of trees to cut today." Mom said.

I head back to my room to dress for the day and prepare to work on ornaments.

My phone beeps and I figure it's Jace but when I look at the phone I see it's Casey and it makes me smile.

📱Hey Willow! Do you think we can grab lunch today?

📱Sounds good! I'll meet you at the bar at noon?

📱Can't wait to see you! 😀

"Mom I hope it's ok I dip out at lunch. Casey wants to have lunch." I said.

"Oh, honey that's wonderful!" Mom smiled.

We gathered our things up and head to Rustic Noel. As soon as the doors open we are busy. I don't know how my parents do this day in and day out. They need to hire help and soon.
