လင်းဖေးလု အချိန်တစ်ချို့သုံးဖူးတဲ့ လက်ဆွဲမီးဖိုလေးဖြစ်လို့ သူမကိုယ်ရနံ့လေးနှစ်မြုပ်နေ၏. လူမူဓလေ့ထုံးတမ်းအရဆိုရင် သခင်မလေးတစ်ယောက်ရဲ့ သီးသန့်ပစ္စည်းအဖြစ် ထည့်သွင်းစဉ်းစားလို့ရသည်။ သူမတောင် ဂရုမစိုက်မှတော့ ဆောင်းဂျင်းလန်လည်း ဒါတွေကိုဂရုမစိုက်ဘူး။ တန်ဒေါင် ထိုမီးဖိုငယ်ထဲ ပူလောင်သည့်မီးသွေးဖြည့်ပေးတော့ သူ့အင်္ကျီလက်တွင်းထဲထည့်လိုက်သည်။
နှစ်ကူးရောက်ခါနီးတာကြောင့် ရာသီဉတုပိုအေးလာသည်။ ရက်အနည်းငယ်ကြာ နှင်းများကျဆင်းချိန် လင်းဖေးလု မီးသွေးပို့ပေးခဲ့သည်။
မြောက်ပိုင်းမှာ ဒီအချိန် အေးသည်။နှင်းကျပြီး ဆောင်းဉီးမကုန်သည်အထိအေးသည်။
အရင်နှစ်က လျိုဇုဗီလာ ခက်ခဲတဲ့နှစ်ဖြစ်သည်။ သူတို့လက်ခံရတဲ့ မီးသွေးက အရမ်းမီးခိုးထွက်ပြီး နွေးထွေးထိအောင် မလုံလောက်ပဲ အေးစက်စက်ဒဏ်ကိုခံစားခဲ့ရသည်။ ဆောင်း အင်ပါယာမှာ ဆောင်းတွင်းသိပ်မတွေ့ကြုံရဘူး။ သူတို့ ပထမဆုံးလင်းအင်ပါယာကိုရောက်တော့ လိုက်လျောညီထွေမရှိခဲ့ဘူး။
လွန်ခဲ့တဲ့ နှစ်အတော်ကြာ သူတို့ ဒီမြေရေအနေအထားနဲ့ကျင့်သားရအောင် စီမံလုပ်ဆောင်ခဲ့သည်။ ကံကောင်းတာက ဆောင်းဂျင်းလန် အတိုက်အခိုက်သင်ယူခဲ့ပြီး ကျန်းမာရေးကောင်းသူဖြစ်တယ်. နှင်းကိုက်တာကလွဲပြီးဖျားနာတာသိပ်မရှိ။ တန်ဒေါင် မင်းသမီး ၅ ကို အထင်သေးတာ နည်းနည်းလျော့ကျသွား၏။
နောက်ထပ်မင်းသမီးတစ်ပါးက သူ့သခင်ရဲ့အလှကြောင့်ဆိုပေမဲ့ မင်းသမီး ၃ တစ်ယောက်တည်း သူ့သခင်ကို အမိန့်ပေးလုပ်ဆောင်တယ်။ မင်းသမီး ၃ က သူ့သခင်ကို စေလိုရာခိုင်းစေတက်တယ်. သူနဲ့အတူ နီးနီးဝေးဝေးအတူလိုက်ခိုင်းတက်သည်။ ဘယ်တော့မှ တစ်ပါးသူကိစ္စကိုထည့် မတွေးချေ။
သို့ပေမဲ့ မင်းသမီး ၅ က တကယ်မတူဘူး။ သူတို့အမြဲတမ်းတွေ့တိုင်း ဆောင်းဂျင်းလန် ဆီက ဘာမှမတောင်းဆိုဘူး။ ရံဖန်ရံခါ ကြင်နာစွာ လက်ဆောင်များပေးကမ်းတက်သည်။
နှင်းများကျဆင်းလာချိန်နောက်ထပ်ဧည့်သည်ရောက်လာခဲ့သည်။
တန်ဒေါင် တံခါးဖွင့်တော့ လင်းဖေးလုကိုမြင်လိုက်ရတယ်။ထိုအချိန် တန်ဒေါင် မျက်လုံးထဲ သတိပေးတဲ့အကြည့် မရှိတော့။ လင်းဖြေးလု ကလေးဆန်စွာပြုံးပြီး "အရှင့်သား ဘယ်မှာလဲ?"
တန်ဒေါင် ပြန်တုန့်ပြန်တယ်။ " အရှင့်သား အိမ်ထဲမှာ စာဖတ်နေပါတယ်"
စာလုပ်နေပြန်ပြီ။ ဘယ်လိုတောင်ကြိုးစားတဲ့ကလေးလဲ!!
လင်းဖေးလု တန်ဒေါင် နောက်ကနေ အိမ်ထဲဝင်ခဲ့သည်။ အထဲရောက်တော့ အိမ်ထဲ အရင်ကလောက်မအေးတော့. နွေးထွေးဖို့မလုံလောက်ရင်တောင်မှ အနည်းဆုံး နွေးထွေးနေသေးတာ ခံစားမိသည်. ဘေးပတ်လည်ကြည့်လိုက်တော့ မီးဖိုထဲ မီးသွေးအနည်းငယ်ရှိနေ၏။ဒါက တစ်ယောက်စာ အတွက် လုံလောက်သည်။

ဆောင်းဂျင်းလန် အခန်းထဲက ထွက်လာပြီး နူးညံ့တဲ့အပြုံးလေးနဲ့ " ဒီနေ့ရာသီဉတုအေးတယ်။ ဘာလို့ မင်းသမီး ၅ လာလည်ပတ်တာလဲ? "
တန်ဒေါင်ကိုအမိန့်ပေးလိုက်သည်။ " သွား မီးသွေးနည်းနည်းသွားထည့်။ "
လင်းဖေးလု အလျင်စလိုပြောတယ်။ "မလိုဘူး။ အရှင့်သား အတွက် တစ်ခုခုယူလာပေးတာ။ မကြာခင် သွားမှာ"
သူမ အင်္ကျီလက်ထဲက သေတ္တာကြမ်းလေးတစ်ခု ထုတ်ပြီးပေးလိုက်သည်။
"ဒါက လုလေး လုပ်ထားတဲ့ လက်လိမ်းခရင်န် ။ အရှင့်သား သုံးလို့ရတယ်"
ဆောင်းဂျင်းလန် မျက်ခုံးမြင့်တက်သွားပြီးသေတ္တာသေးကို ကြည့်လိုက်သည်။ ယူပြီး တည်ငြိမ်တဲ့အပြုအမူနဲ့ဖွင့်လိုက်သည်။ ဖွင့်လိုက်တော့ နူးညံ့တဲ့ရနံ့ကို ရပြီး အဖြူရောင်ဇီးပန်းရနံ့နဲ့တူသည်။သေတ္တာထဲ အဖြူရောင် အနှစ်တစ်ချို့ တည်ရှိသည်။
