ချင်းရန် ထိုမိန်းကလေး မျက်လုံးများကို မြင်တော့ အံ့ဩသွား၏။ "ဟုတ်ကဲ့"
လင်းဖေးလု မုန့်ဘူးနဲ့အတူ လျိုဇု ဗီလာထဲ လျှောက်လာခဲ့သည်။
ရာသီဉတု ဒဏ်ခံထားရတဲ့ သစ်သားတံခါး အတွင်းဘက် မှ သော့ခတ်ထား၏။နှစ်ကြိမ်တွန်းပေမဲ့ မတုန်မလှုပ်ပင်။ လင်းလုဖေး လက်မြှောက်ကာ အကြိမ်အနည်းငယ်ခေါက်လိုက်သည်။ အချိန်အတော်ကြာ လူတစ်ယောက်ရောက်လာတယ်။ ဆောင်းဂျင်းလန်ရဲ့ အစေခံ တန်ဒေါင်။ သံသယမျက်လုံးများဖြင့် စကားပြောဖို့ တုန့်ဆိုင်းနေ၏။

မနက်ခင်းအစောကြီးရှိသေးပေမဲ့ စာလုပ်နေပြီ။ လုံ့လဝီရီယ ရှိတဲ့ ကောင်လေးပဲ။ သူမ ရဲ့ ညံ့ဖျင်းတဲ့ အစ်ကိုတော် ၄ သူ့ဆီက တစ်ခု နှစ်ခု သင်ယူသင့်တယ်။
လင်းဖေးလု ခေါင်းညိတ်ပြီး တုန့်ပြန်တယ်။
တန်ဒေါင် သူ မရောက်ရှိနေကြောင်း သတင်းပို့ဖို့အထဲဝင်သွားပြီး မကြာခင် ဆောင်းဂျင်းလန် ထွက်လာသည်။မနေ့ကလို အဖြူရောင်ခပ်ရိုးရိုး ဝတ်ဆင်ထား၏။ ချောမောတဲ့မျက်ခုံးများရှိပြီးမျက်နှာပေါ် သန့်ရှင်းလှပတဲ့အပြုံးကြောင့် သူမ စိတ်နူးညံ့သွား၏။
"အင်ပါယာမင်းသမီး ၅ ဘာကြောင့်လာလည်တာလဲ?" နွေးထွေးတဲ့အသံ ဖြင့်မေးလာသည်။
လင်းဖေးလု သူ့ဆီပြေးလာပြီး "လုလေး ရဲ့မယ်တော် မုန့်လုပ်ပေးတာ စားဖို့ယူလာပေးတာ"
သူမ မျက်နှာသေးသေးလေး အေးစက်နီရဲတက်ပေမဲ့ မျက်နှာပေါ် က အပြုံး ရိုးသား၏။ ဆောင်းဂျင်းလန် လှမ်းယူပြီး " အပြင်မှာအေးတယ်။ မင်းသမီး စိတ်မရှိရင် အိမ်ထဲစကားပြောလို့ရပါတယ်"

လင်းဖေးလု အထဲကိုဝင်လာခဲ့သည်။အိမ်ထဲရောက်သည်နှင့် အိမ်ထဲက ထင်းမီးခိုးငွေ့ကြောင့် မထိန်းနိုင်စွာနှာချေလိုက်သည်။
