《My Alpha Mate, I Call Muffin. (COMPLETED)》Chapter 18

A/N: sorry updates take a while, I've been enjoying summer break!(:
MARLEY'S POV
Alek has been obsessing over my every need for the past three weeks. If I make a sudden move to stand up, he'll jump up, pushing me back down, asking what I need.
Seeing him run around catering to my every need is so funny and cute at the same time. He's already picked out names for a boy.
James
Peter
Mario
Um. Sorry Alek, but these names just don't sit well with me. He'll be crushed when it's time to name the baby and I turn down all the names.
I mean Mario? Really Alek?
"Hey baby, you need anything?" Alek asked, walking into the room changing into pajamas. "No I'm good. How was your meeting?"
"Stupid. Waste of time. Pointless. I just want to be here with you and Mario." Alek complained. I cringed when I heard the name. "What's the face for baby?" Alek asked, laying down snuggling me into him.
"Nothing." I lied. "Mhm. I know what you said about the name. Next time you want to disrespect Mario, close your link."
I laughed, "I'm sorry muffin. It's just not right for him." I explained nicely. "Yeah yeah, goodnight baby." Alek sighed, already drifting off.
***
I awoke in pain. Looking at the clock, I saw it was 7. I felt wet between my legs. Pulling the cover back, I gasped.
My thighs were in a pool of blood. No wonder I was having cramps. "Alek, alek!" I cried.
Ask woke up frantically. "What! What's going- oh no. Oh baby. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. It's okay. Come here." He pulled me into a hug.
I was only pregnant for about a month, and I lost the baby. He/she wasn't born yet, but I loved her/him so much already.

I cried hysterically into Alek's chest. "Here lets get you cleaned up."
Alek ran a bubble bath. Coming back into the room, he stripped me out of my bloody clothes, placing me into the hot water. I heard him go back into the room, changing the sheets.
I was still crying as I sat in the tub. I bet Alek is so upset with me. I can't even hold a baby for four months. How pathetic. Just like Rick said. "A Luna. Pathetic."
I heard stomping coming into the bathroom. "Marley. Don't you ever think that again! It's not your fault you lost the baby. Maybe it just wasn't the right time to have a baby. Don't ever listen to ANYTHING Rick told you. You're so much more than a Luna to me. You're stronger than a Luna. I love you so much, please don't let this bring you down." Alek had a tear rolling down his cheek by now.
I reached a soap filled hand out of the water, wiping it away. Leaving bubbles on half his face. Alek laughed, scooping up some bubbles, throwing them at me. We started throwing bubbles back and forth at eachother. I stood up, not caring that I was naked, jumping out of the tub. I grabbed multiple handfuls of bubbles and water, throwing them at him.
Alek made a run for me, but slipped on the water on the floor. "Haha! Are you- haha! Okay muffin?" I'm laughing my ass off at this point.
"Yes baby. Just fine, I only busted my face on the floor." Alek said sarcastically.
***
Me and Alek sat in the living room, watching 22 jump street.
Alek suddenly laughed at something, causing me to look up at him.
I love seeing him mid-laugh. His mouth open, head thrown back, eyes squinted. I love him so much. I don't know how I got this lucky. 17 years of sorrow, and this is my reward. Alek. Although, I haven't been blessed with a baby yet, I'm still the luckiest girl on earth. Maybe one day we'll have a little Mario running around.

Chasing Darkness
Lilith's first time parachuting at night was a disaster. Fictional Gods clashed before her eyes. Caught in the crossfire, Lilith traveled through Space and Time. Her reality was turned into her favorite childhood game, Pokemon. The beginning of journey shrouded in the Dark. A Pursuit of something Greater. *** Author Notes: As a writer, I enjoy the 'How' and 'Why' thing happen in a story over 'What' happens. This will not, however, diminish plot points in the story. Each Arc will be well thought out. This Fanfic explores what it would be like in a reality where Pokemon exist. Most other Fanfics are based on game or anime logic. I will be taking the point of view of a Progression Fantasy. I will try to update every Weekday at Noon Central. P.S. I do this for fun. As I am an amateur writer, I expect complaints and criticism. Anything other than constructive will be ignored. Well thought out Reviews, please. *I Do NOT own Pokemon in any way, shape or form. *I created the Cover in all its pixilated glory.
