Master Sou's POV

I was walking around my beautiful palace with my fair maidens. It was a beautiful day outside, the flowers have just bloomed so it made a wonderful sight to see. I was admiring the flowers until I heard,

*Ring Ring Ring*

*Ring Ring Ring*

Sou: What's that? Someone seems to be in distress.

I have a bell that rings when someone is in trouble so I can make sure that person is ok and that they get rescued. Me and my maidens walked over to my cauldron of vision to see the distressed human and what I saw surprised me.

Sou: Hmmm I don't recognize this human from anywhere in Sooga village.

She had a green dress on and was tied up in a dark lair of some sort. Then it hit me.

Sou: Wait she's in Tobe's lair! Garu usually rescues people who have been messed with by Tobe right away.

Maiden 1: She's new here Master Sou, so it's a possibility that Garu most likely wouldn't have know about it until someone told him.

Sou: You make a fair point. We should rescue her ourselves then, cause we don't know how long it would take for someone to alert Garu of this crime.

My maidens nodded in agreement so we jumped into the cauldron so we can save the girl before Tobe does something terrible to her.

Y/n's POV

I have been struggling for fifteen minutes and I still can't get the ropes off. I was ready to give up and accept my fate until I saw a golden portal. Three people, if I can even call them people, emerged from the portal right in front of me. I was scared senseless of this phenomenon that was happening right in front of my eyes. They three beings probably saw my fear, cause the all began to observe my features. When they were done with their short examination the one in the middle began to speak.

???: No need to fear child we have come to rescue you.

Now I'm down right confused, this existential being has come to rescue me from wherever I am for no reason whatsoever? This place was weirder than I thought it was.

He snapped his fingers and the ropes faded away in a gold light. I got up quickly and immediately pulled the gag off my mouth.

???: I am Master Sou, I watch over Sooga village to make sure everything is going well and make sure to keep things peaceful.

Y/n: Well that explains way more than I thought it would. Master Sou how did you know I was in need of saving.

Sou: Like I said before I watch all of Sooga village and normally I don't save anyone myself but I noticed that you're new around here so I don't think you've been properly introduced to the town heroes, therefore leaving you out of their radar.

I wanted to ask him more questions like what's the deal with this village and stuff like that but considering the position I was in, now wouldn't have been a good time to ask questions so I wanted to wrap things up quickly, despite of how confused I was and despite of how curious I was.

Y/n: Thank you Master Sou but I really need to get going, you know before they get back.

Sou: Oh you're welcome but before you go I want you to take this bell. Only ring it when you are in need of true saving.

Y/n: Ok I will, thank you.

I climbed down a rope ladder and dashed out of that place as fast as I could. I put the bell in my pocket so it wouldn't ring while I ran. I noticed that the lair was not too far from Garu's house so when I came across it I went up and knocked on the door to see if Garu was home. I managed to dodge the big wooden hand that Garu used to push people off of is property and when it retracted I took this chance to look inside. It was actually a nice place but before I could step inside a little black cat walked up to me and started to rub itself up against my legs.

Y/n: Aaaaaaaw cute wittle kitty.

I bent down and pet the kitty behind its ear. It began to purr.

Y/n: You must be Garu's cat. Is he home?

The cat looked at me and shook their head. This surprised me cause animals don't really respond to yes or no questions especially cats.

Y/n: Do you know where he is?

They nodded.

Y/n: Can you take me to him?

They nodded once again then motioned me to follow them.

Before we left the cleared area of Garu's house his cat swiftly and cleanly cut down a medium sized bamboo stalk and motioned for me to pick it up. I picked it up then grinned.

Y/n: Like owner, like cat.

And Garu's little black cat began to lead me to Garu's location.

Garu's POV

After a couple hours of scrum debating we finally had a good plan for rescuing Y/n. I got up and dashed to the door of Pucca's bedroom but some one grabbed my shoulder before I could grab the door handle. I turned around to see who could possibly be delaying the mission and found Pucca with a worried expression on her face.

Pucca: Garu, wait.

Garu: Wait for what?! Y/n needs to be rescued.

Ching: We know but we think you should stay behind while we rescue Y/n.

She walked up next to Pucca.

Garu: What?! Why?!

Abyo: Garu, cause we all know from experience that you can't fight while being angry.

The girls nodded in agreement.

Garu: *sigh* Fine, BUT IF Y/N-

Ching: We'll bring her back safely, we promise.

I held my head down in defeat and motioned them to go. They were about to leave when...

Tobe: GARU!!!

Despite of what my friends told me I ran out side with them following behind me. I saw Tobe with his team of evil ninjas behind him.

Tobe: Why hello Garu~, I hope you prepared for your defeat.

Garu: WHERE IS Y/N!!!

I drew my sword.

Tobe: Such strong words, especially for you at a time like this.

Garu: What do you mean?

Tobe: Haven't you heard? today your sweet little Y/n will be my bride.

My heart shattered at those words. He asked her to marry him?! How could she say yes to him? Did she say yes to him? This has to lie? I wouldn't believe it, it couldn't be true.

Garu: YOU'RE LYING!!! IT CANT BE TRUE IT CANT BE!!!

The sword in my hand wavered as tears flowed down my face like a river. Even though Tobe had his face covered I could tell he had a sick demented smile plastered on his face.

Tobe: Oh but it is~.

The others had shocked faces cause of what Tobe stated. Abyo tried to pull me away from Tobe but once he laid his hand on my shoulder, without thinking, I turned around quickly and put my sword to his neck.

Abyo: GAH Garu what are you doing?!

Garu: Shut it.

I said through clenched teeth.

Ching: GARU STOP!! YOU'RE NOT-

Garu: SHUT UP!!!

I turned back around taking the sword away from Abyo's neck.

Garu: Tœbę!

Pucca's POV

Garu had this crazed look on his face as he held the sword to Abyo's neck.

Ching: GARU STOP!!! YOU'RE NOT-

Garu: SHUT UP!!!

As his voice boomed I noticed his eyes had a purplish glint in them. I could tell that something was happening to Garu but what and how were two questions I could not answer. Garu swiftly turned around to face Tobe, taking the sword away from Abyo's neck.

Garu: Tœbę

Now I know for a fact that something bad was happening to Garu cause his voice was near full demonic. Even Tobe looked terrified.

Tobe: O-Okay maybe this wasn't a good idea. NINJAS RETREAT!!!

Y/n's POV

Y/n: Not so fast Tobe!

I had snuck up behind him and smacked him on the head with a bamboo stalk.

*WHACK*

Tobe: OW!

*WHACK*

At this point Tobe was in the fetal position on the ground.

Y/n: THIS IS FOR KIDNAPPING ME!

*WHACK*

Y/n: THIS IS FOR TRYING TO MAKE ME MARRY YOU!

*WHACK*

Y/n: THIS IS FOR ATTACKING MY FRIEND'S RESTAURANT!

*WHACK*

Ching: WOO you go Y/n!

Y/n: THIS IS FOR KISSING ME WITHOUT MY CONSENT!

*WHACK*

Ching: Wait wut?!

*WHACK*

Tobe: GAH! Stop hitting me!!!

*WHACK*

Tobe: Ninjas why won't you attack her?!?!?!

*WHACK*

Ninja 3: Oh! Sorry boss!

As the ninjas approached me my head shot up and gave them a psychotic look and Ching and Abyo drew there weapons and stepped forward.

Y/n: >:3

Ninja 3: AHHHHH!!! Sorry boss you're on your own this time.

The ninjas fled in different direction in a matter of seconds.

Tobe: YOU COWARDS!!!

*WHACK*

Tobe: OW! STOP THAT!!

I stopped beating him and picked him up by his shirt.

Y/n: You have FIVE seconds to get out of my sight and if you don't then I will beat you till you're blue.

I dropped him and watched him run back into the forest outside of the village before I could even start counting. I was breathing slightly heavy cause beating somebody with a bamboo stalk takes a lot of effort.

Garu: Y/n!!

I turned around and saw Garu running towards me with a huge smile on his face. He tackled me to the ground, tightly embracing me in the warmest hug.

Garu: Oh Y/n I'm so glad you're safe. MWAMWAMWAMWAMWAMWAMWAMWA!

Before I could say anything he started planting butterfly kisses all over my face.

Y/n: G-Garu. O///\\\O

When Garu realized what he was doing his cheeks turned dark red and he got up quickly.

Garu: I... umm... S-Sorry Y/n.

Y/n: Nonono it's ok, it was just s-so sudden.

Abyo: Uhhhhh I don't mean to interrupt this cute little moment you guys are having but, WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED?!?!

This confused me. Did something happen before I arrived? I was going to ask but Garu already beat me to it.

Garu: What do you mean 'what just happened' you guys just rescued Y/n!

Now I'm REALLY confused and by the looks of it so was everyone else.

Pucca: Garu, do you remember what you did?

Garu: Ya, we came up with a plan to rescue Y/n, you guys left, and now you're back, why do you ask?

Ching: Cause you threatened Abyo with your sword!

Pucca: Your eyes turned purple!

Abyo: And your voice went demonic!!

Garu: WHAT?! I would never do that to you guys, you know me better than that!!

What Ching, Pucca and Abyo said made my heart stop.

Y/n: Wait what did Garu do?!

Pucca: He held a sword to Abyo's neck, and his eyes had a purplish tint and his voice sounded like a demon's

Garu: Guys I would never do that why do-!

Y/n: Oh no.

My blood ran cold. No no it can't be! I fell to my knees and stared blankly at the ground. Ching and Pucca ran up to me and kneeled beside me.

Ching: Y/n? What's wrong? Is everything ok?

Y/n: No... no NO!

Pucca: Y/n, what's wrong?!

I began to stand up slowly with Pucca and Ching shortly following. Fear filled my entire body, my mind and my heart.

Y/n: He's back.
