One year later....

*Melanie's POV*

I never thought that I would meet my mate, less likely that I would be standing here, in a room, getting ready for our wedding.

I smiled as I looked over myself. I could just feel the venom pooling in my eyes right now. I sighed as I remember the day Jane had asked me....

"Marry me?" She asked, holding up the ring that had a tiny Ruby on top.

"Seriously?" I asked, and she nodded. I smiled and pounced on her. "Yes, yes I'll marry you!" I exclaimed. She chuckled and took my hand, sliding the ring on my ring finger.

I smiled and kissed her, never wanting the moment to end. She kissed back, wrapping her arms around me.

There was then a knock on the door, interrupting the memory. I got up and went over to the door, peaking out to see Jacob Black and another vampire. I opened the door. "Hello?"

"Auntie Melanie?" The vampire I asked and I immediately recognized her.

"Renesme? Come here sweetie!" I said, pulling her into a hug. "Oh my gosh, I can't believe you're here! Look how big you've gotten. You look like you're 18." I said, holding her face in my hands. She giggled slightly.

"I know, I just came to congratulate you on getting married." She said, smiling.

"Thank you sweetie." I then looked at Jacob.

"Hello Jacob, how are you?"

"I'm good, thanks." He said, shrugging slightly. Nessie sighed and turned around stopping in his foot. He hissed slightly before saying something else. "Congratulations."

"Thank you."

"We should probably go find our seats now. But I'll see you after." Renesme said before dragging Jacob off. I chuckled and was about to close the door until a foot caught it.

"You're not gonna let your best friend congratulate you on your wedding day?" I heard a familiar voice say. I flew the door open and there was Sadie in all of her glory.

"Sadie!" I said happily. She laughed and hugged me, I hugging her back.

"I can't believe you're getting married! Just when you turned 18, I'm jealous." She said, laughing slightly.

"Oh don't be, you'll find your Prince Charming somewhere soon."

"Yeah, only in my dreams since most men are just gross."

"Tell me about it." We then erupted in a fit of giggles.

"You look beautiful you know."

"Thank you Sadie." I said.

"No problem." I was about to say something else until a clearing of a throat interrupted us.

"I hate to interrupt, but it's time." I heard the voice of Carlisle say. I looked who Sadie who just smiled and kissed my cheek before walking off. I then looked at Carlisle, who held out his arm for me to take. I smiled and did so. As we started walking, I started feeling nervous. "You'll do fine Melanie."

"I know Carlisle, but I'm just so..."

"You have butterflies in your stomach. It's totally normal." I nodded. "You know, I'm surprised you asked me to walk you down the isle."

"You shouldn't be, you're basically the only father figure I really have. Hell, you're basically my Father."

"Really? I thought after the fight you would have stopped thinking of me like that."

"Well, I did for a while, but then I realized that no matter what you will always be my Dad." I said, smiling at him. He smiled back as we stopped in front of the doors. I then heard music, the wedding march to be exact.

"You ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." As if on cue, the doors opened to reveal at least 100 people, who were all staring at me.

I looked at Carlisle, who was looking at me, and nodded. We then started walking down the aisle together. I looked at everyone as we passed. First I saw Sadie, who was with the rest of our friends. Then I saw Carlisle's family. Alice smirked at me, probably knowing this was going to happen. Finally, I saw David, Clarisse, and Josie. David's eyes were full of venom, and I could tell he was trying to hide it. I snickered slightly at him, him glaring playfully in return.

Then my eyes landed on Jane. She was wearing a simple tuxedo with the Volturi crest on her chest. And she had put her hair down just for me. I smiled slightly at her as Carlisle and I stopped. I hugged him quickly before taking Jane's outstretched hand. "You look marvelous." She whispered to me.

"And you look absolutely radiant." I whispered back, as we smiled at one another. Aro, of course, was our marriage officiant. I didn't mind of course, since it made Jane happy.

"Dearest people...." he began. "We are here to celebrate the union of Jane Volturi and Melanie Nightshade. We will begin with the vows."

Jane went first. "My Siren, when I first saw you I didn't really know what this feeling in my chest was. I wasn't used to an emotion like this. But now that I'm here, with you, I can happily say that I have loved you since our paths intertwined. And I will love you for the rest of our lives, mio amore." I could feel the venom pool in my eyes again, but not a single tear shed.

It was then my turn. "Jane, my dearest, I have always dreamed of meeting my soulmate. Only my friends could tell you how many girlfriends I've had, hoping that they might've been the one. But now that I found you, I never want to let you go. I truly do love you, and I never want to let you go. For you, you are my other half. You are my soulmate." James smiled at my words, making me happy.

"The rings please." Aro said. Alec was by Jane's side in an instant. David on the other hand was fumbling around a bit. I sighed, looking at Jane, who was trying to hide her grin at my brother's foolishness. Finally, he appeared next to me as well, and each of our brother's handed us one another's rings.

We said our pronouncement of marriage before putting the rings on our fingers. "I now pronounce you as Misses and Misses Volturi-Nightshade. You may now kiss the bride."

Aro said. Jane smiled and leaned in, kissing my lovingly. I kissed back gently, mr arms wrapping around her neck. When we separated, people clapped for us.

I could have lived in that moment forever.

The after party was quite fun. People were enjoying themselves. Soon enough it was time for our dance. I smiled as I led Jane out in the dance floor. "You better not step on my feet Madame." I said, giving her a pointed look.

"I'll try not to." She said, smiling. I giggled as the music started playing. Jane held my right hand as her other went to my waist. My left had was on her shoulder as we swayed to the music. I never broke eye contact with her as we danced.

After our dance was over, other people started dancing as well. Jane and I sat down, talking as other people dance and had a good time.

"I knew you two would be good together." Alice said when she came over, Jasper following. "After all, my visions are never wrong."

"Congratulations you two." Jasper said, nodding. Jane nodded back and I thanked him. They then went off to dance.

Soon, Alec came over. "Well sister, I thought I would never see the day." He teased Jane. Jane playfully glared at him.

"Well brother, at least I got married before you."

The two then started bickering at one another, I shaking my head fondly.

"Girlie, I can't believe your married!" Sadie said when she came over, giving me a tight hug. I laughed and hugged her back, looking at the two to find Alec staring at us. Sadie them separated the hug, looking over at Jane and smiled at her. She then looked at Alec and froze. "Um, hi..."

"Hello, and what is your name?" Alec asked, taking her hand and kissing the top of it lightly. I looked over at Jane, who was looking at me just as surprised.

"S-Sadie."

"Well Sadie, I'm Alec. Would you care to dance?" He asked, smirking slightly. She nodded and he gently led her to the dance floor. Sadie looked back over at me, and I just gave her a thumbs up.

"Well, well, well. Looks like I'm going to have another sister-in-law." Jane said, making me laugh.

"And looks like my friend is going to find out about our world soon." I said. She nodded and I then dragged her to the dance floor.

The rest of the night was filled with smiles and dancing.

Soon enough, it was time for us to leave for our honeymoon. Before I got into the car, I turned my back and tossed the bouquet out to all the girls. I turned around to see who caught it and, surprisingly, Josie caught.

"Oh hell no!" David said.

"Oh heck yes!" Josie said, sticking out her tongue at him.

I smiled and climbed into the car, right next to Jane. I looked at her, smiling. She smiled back and leaned in in, kissing me. I kissed her back of course, wrapping my arms around her.

And we lived happily ever after....

Oh god that was the cheesiest thing I ever said.
