*Melanie's POV*

A few days have passed and it was finally time to return home. Oh I was so relieved, if I had to be around Aro one more time I think I was going to loose it! As I was packing up, I heard a knock on my door. "Come in!" I called out.

The person entered and I felt arms around me. I immediately knew it was Jane. "Hello love." I said, turning to face her.

"Hi." She said, frowning a bit. I furrowed my eyebrows a bit, confused to why she was frowning. "You're happy to leave me." She explained. I sighed and put a hand on her cheek.

"I'm not exactly thrilled about leaving you but I am happy to be going home. And besides, you'll see me in a few days when you come and visit me. You are still coming right?" I asked.

"Of course, I wouldn't miss the chance to see you!" She said almost immediately. I nodded a bit, smiling sweetly at my mate.

After that kiss in the mountains, we had gotten so much closer. We were practically inseparable so these few days until she comes to visit would be absolute agony to the both of us. "I still don't know why you can't just ride with us." I said, continuing to pack up.

She sighed. "Humans are going to be on your plane. I can't afford to loose control." I nodded a bit, sighing.

After I was done pack, I sat on the bed. Jane sat next to me, I laid my head on her shoulder as she wrapped an arm around me. I closed my eyes, enjoying the moment that we were having.

It was soon time for me and my coven to leave. Promise that it will be just a few days?" I asked Jane as she walked me to the front gate.

"I promise. I couldn't bare it if it was even more than that." She said, making me giggle lightly.

"God you are such a dork." I said, shaking my head fondly.

"Yes but I'm your dork." She said, wrapping her arms around me. My smile got wider if that was possible.

"That you are." I said, poking her nose making Jane look at her weirdly. That just made her laugh again. "God I love you." She said, looking at her.

"And I love you, mio amore." She said. She was about to kiss me until we heard someone clear their throat. We looked over and saw my brother looking at us.

"I hate to interrupt this little moment but if we don't leave now we're going to be late for our flight home." David said, laughing awkwardly. Jane glared at him and I sighed. I looked back at her and made her look at me. I pecked her quickly on the lips and then rushed out of the castle to the car that was waiting for us.

As the car sped off, I was getting further and further away from Jane.

And I absolutely hated the feeling it was causing me.

When we got home, I immediately rushed to my room. I flopped on my bed, staring at the ceiling. It felt so good but yet so terrible to be home again.

I gently laid on my bed, sulking. I really missed Jane. I wouldn't see in her three whole days! Ugh, I miss her so much.... "Curse our mate bond!" I said, putting a pillow on my face and groaning into it.

I heard a chuckle and looked over to see it was David. I rolled my eyes and put the pillow back on my face. I then felt a dip on my bed and knew it was David. "Miss her already?" He teased, making me roll my eyes again.

"Hahaha." I laughed in a bored tone.

"I'm serious. I guess you could say dead Sirius."

I looked at him. "Too soon!" I said, throwing my pillow at him.

"What do you mean 'Too soon'? It's been-!" I put a finger to his lips.

"Just shut up." I said, making him roll his eyes.

"Yeah, yeah." He then got up. "I guess I'll leave you to mope and sulk. See you later nerd!" He then sped out of my room. I sighed, getting up as well.

"Maybe hunting will distract my mind." I said, speeding out if my room and heading to the forest.

*Jane's POV*

When Melanie left, I immediately felt alone. I sighed, sitting on my bed. I really missed her, even though I wouldn't say it aloud for people to hear.

I sighed, leaning my head upon the antique headboard when Alec entered. "Miss your little mate already?" He teased, making me glare at him.

"Shut up." I said, making him chuckle.

"Whatever you say sister. Aro just wanted me to inform you that the private plane will be ready in three days time."

I nodded a bit, looking out the window. "When is Heidi bringing our lunch? I'm getting quite thirsty."

"Any minute probably." He said as I got up. "Shall we?"

"We shall." I said, immediately rushing out of my room to the throne room, him following me.

But even as I started feeding on a human that Heidi brought in, my thoughts were only on one certain vampire.
