《Her Siren (A Jane Volturi love story)》Part 9

*Melanie's POV*
After our little celebration, it was eventually time to go. We, my coven, were saying our goodbyes. "Do you have to go?" Renesmee asked me. She was pouting.
"Sadly princess, but I'll come visit any time you'd like. Alright?" That made her smile. "There's that bright smile!" We hugged one last time before she skipped off to Jacob.
I smiled a bit, she was an adorable kid. "So did you see her?" A voice asked behind me. I turned and saw it was Alice.
"I... I think so. At least I hope it was her." I said.
She smiled a bit. "You two will be very happy together, don't worry. And when you two get married, I wanna be a bridesmaid." She said. I rolled my eyes fondly.
"We'll see about that." I smiled at her and we hugged each other quickly. I went over to my brother, who was talking to Carlisle.
"You can visit anytime you'd like." Carlisle said to us. We nodded and hugged him. We soon got in the car and made our way back home to California.
*Time Skip*
When we got back to our house, I immediately went to my room and flopped on my bed. I've missed my bed, even if I couldn't sleep.
"Hey Mel! Can you come down here please?" I heard my brother yell for me. I groaned and got off my bed, heading down stairs.
"Yes Dav-?" I was about to ask but stopped when I saw her. The girl from the battle. We made eye contact and we just stood there, looking at one another.
*Jane's POV*
That girl from the battle, I cannot stop thinking about her. The way her raven hair blew in the wind and her beautiful golden eyes paid attention to every detail. I guess that's what lead me here, at their house, sitting in their living room. I was waiting for her to come back.

I then heard the door open and heard four voices. A male and three girls. I heard them going up the stairs, I sighed a bit. A guy then came in the living room. He noticed me and froze. "Uhhhh..."
"I would like to speak to the girl with raven hair." I said.
"Girl with raven ha- oh. You mean Melanie?" His eyebrows furrowed. "Uh, hey Mel! Can you come down hear please?" Her brother called for her. 'So Melanie is her name. I like it....' I thought.
I heard footsteps come down the steps. "Yes Davi-?" She stopped when she entered the living room. Her eyes landed on me. I made eye contact with her. Yes, I will admit golden eyes do suit her but she she would look much lovelier with red ones.
I saw her brother backing away, I didn't care though. I came here for Melanie anyways. "Hello." I greeted her.
*Melanie's POV*
"Hello." The blonde said. God, even her voice was beautiful.
"Hi."
"My name is Jane Volturi. And you are Melanie."
"How did you get in my house? No, scratch that. How did you FIND my house?" I asked.
She smirked a bit. "I have my ways." She told me. I nodded and sat in a chair. She stood across from me.
"So why are you here?" I asked her.
"I know what you are to me, I'm no fool. You're my mate." She responded.
I nodded. "Yeah, I figured that."
"I came here to collect you." I looked at her, confused.
"I'm sorry but what do you mean by that?" I asked.
"Well, I came to take you to Volterra. You will be joining the Volturi."

I stood up. "I'm sorry but no." I snapped.
"And why not?" She asked, getting up as well.
"Because I already have a coven! And I'm most certainly not leaving them!" I said, making my way to my room.
Of course, she followed me. "They can come along also. I'm sure Aro would not mind."
I turned to her. "That's another thing. Aro gives me the fucking creeps! You all are ruthless! You could have spared Irina, you know!"
"She provided false information!" She snapped at me.
"Ok and? When I first saw Nessie, I thought she was created also! I would have done the same fucking thing!"
She huffed. "You are being completely irrational."
I rolled my eyes. "Oh yeah, I'm the irrational one!" I said, going to my bedroom and slamming the door in her face.
Of course, she opened it and came in. "I didn't give you permission to come in here you know."
"I can come and go as I please."
I rolled my eyes. "Get out of my room or else I'll make you swim with the fishes."
"What do you mean by that?" She asked confused.
"That's my power dumbass, I'm a siren. I can make you do anything I'd like just by the sound of my voice."
"Don't call me dumbass or else I'll use my power on you." She threatened.
"Go ahead, let's see what will happen. And just so you know there are 3 other vampires in this house, two of them have extraordinary powers and the other is good at fighting back."
She rolled her eyes and then sighed. "Listen, can you at least give Volterra a chance? Because if I leave then we'll both be heartbroken."
"Tch, don't you think I know that? My brother's mate left to visit the Denali coven for one day and he was moping like a lost puppy."
She laughed a bit. Shit, her laugh is fucking angelic too.
I sighed. "Fine, BUT only on two conditions."
"Anything, just name it."
"My coven has to come with me and after my visit is done, you have to come here with me." I held out my hand. "Deal?"
She hesitated but shook it. "Deal."
