My mobile rang I was puzzled to get a call from granny, why is she making a call now?

Did she know the rift between us?

I picked her call...

"Hello grand ma" I said.

"Hello Radhika..... I want to meet you now can you come out of our office for an hour??" Asked grandma.

"Grand ma anything important? Shall we talk at home in the evening?" I said.

"No dear I want to meet you now it's very important"said Grandma.

I tried to avoid her but she insisted so, without choice I took permission from my higher official and went out. As she said she picked me in her car and we both reached nearby cafe shop.

While walking out from office accidentally I met Arjun my eyes widened there is some change in him but I was not able to figure out what was that. I ignored him and straight away went out.

I was worried and in guilty to meet granny but she was waiting for me with a smile. I can't hurt her so I waited for her to open the box I know she wants to tell me something really important. She made me to sit next to her and caressed my hair I was in my thoughts so what is the matter now.

She cleared her throat and said Radhika,

" I will be leaving to US to stay with Sarika(my SIL), you know right now she is pregnant with her second baby so, I want to be with her". I nodded my head.

With a pause she continued, " I will come only after delivery you and Arjun have to take care of our family".

I understood her unsaid words she purposely made Arjun to return home with this excuse. Instantly tears rolled from my eyes I tried to control but she wiped it away and said,

"I know you both have some issues, you are in so much pain without him so, this is the right time to sort out your problems" I was silent.

She said,"He is also in head bound love with you Radhika..." I smiled sarcastically.

She pressed my hands and said," Believe me he is in love with you, I promise when I come back everything will be fine between you. He is not exactly as what you see I know he didn't contact you in this last two months but you tried to hide your pain and acted normal infront of me". I was surprised at her confessions, she noticed all my act.

But she continued," Did you know one-thing every day he made a call to me and enquired about you, he is more concerned about you. He is also not happy without you". I was stunned.

"Did you notice the changes in him??". I looked on blank.

"He lost weight, he has dark circles around eyes , there is no grace in his face. He is also in so much pain" said Grandma.

"But why is he running away from you??

I'm not able to find out that but, I'm sure he is hiding something and punishing himself for that so better try to understand him.

He is a successful businessman but, he is an introvert in his personal life he was never been in romantic relationship with any girl except you. That's why I was shocked when he confessed his marriage with you".

My eyes popped out I couldn't believe what she said afterall she is his granny so she may lie to convince me about him. But her eyes speaks the truth I was confused about her.

She understood me and patted on my shoulder and continued to say,

" He never disclosed his feelings to anyone after his mothers demise. So it will be difficult for him to open up but, as a wife it's your right to know his secret and assure him you will be with him forever"

Still I'm not convinced with granny's words but I want to take a call.

What if Granny said all come true??

Always I had some doubt on him that he is hiding something big from his family.

Otherwise why did he prefer agreement marriage first I thought he married me to save his property but, later I understood he genuinely love his family especially his grandmother. So definitely he is not faking this marriage for money, there is some other mystery behind this marriage. Now, I believe he is a man of mystery. I'm sure I will unfold his secrets soon.

I gave a promise to granny that I will try to resolve the problems between us. She dropped me in office and left to home. I was totally confused to how to find his secrets. I knew he is a hard-core it will be not easy for me, I have to push him hard to make him confess.

But how??

Oh god!! show me a way.

But, I'm glad now I knew my husband care about me, he didn't forget me completely in this past two months, I'm sure he was stopped by some external factors. After meeting granny I felt relaxed and my mind started to work peacefully.

Granny's flight was scheduled at late night. So, I decided to cook for her once I reach home, also I want to escape from Arjun's gazes. I threw a ravish dinner idiyapppam, Vegetable stew, Dosa, medhu vada, Sambar, tomato chutney and I set the table for dinner.

During the dinner time I started to serve but, grandma compelled me to sit with Arjun I know her tricks so I silently sat next to him. Throughout the time his eyes were on me, I watched him with my side gaze but never mind to look at him directly.

After dinner we all together left to airport, we both gave a send-off to granny. While leaving she looked at me worried, I pressed her hand with a smile in assurance she gave me a content smile and left, Arjun was puzzled.

Later he went to pick his car from parking meanwhile I booked a cab from airport and left alone ignoring him completely. I heard his voice shouting my name restlessly I felt bad looking at him. A small ray of hope lightened me I'm sure he is concerned about me.

I reached home and headed towards our bedroom, simultaneously Arjun parked his car and stormed inside. He shouted my name, held my hands firmly and turn around me to look at him. After two months our eyes met, we both were frozen for a moment, I broke the eye lock and asked him sternly, "What ??"

He was taken back at my sudden reaction, but only for a while then, he controlled himself.

He asked me "Why did you take cab when I was there with a car??"

I crossed my hands and asked him,

"What will I do if you leave me in mid-way??"

He was hell shocked, his body stiffened he stammered "Why would I leave you at this night??"

"Reason only you knew how can I say?? Because you already left me in a midnight"

I said sarcastically.

I saw a hurt in his eyes he closed his eyes and opened in a second. He said,

" Radhika I know you are angry with me but, It is not like what you are think..."

I cut him there, and asked,

"So do you know what I'm thinking?? Wow!! that's so great!! Are you a mind reader??"

(My MV: I know my words were very sharp but, still I want him to know my pain)

I bursts out, "I can't trust you again, you are such a self-centred person. You will do anything without bothering about others emotions". He tried to say something, I signed him to stop let me complete

Mr. Arjun Ram, he stood as a statue.

I shouted at him ," You took me granted on that night you went out your desires, later you disappeared without a word. You would have forget that Arjun but I can't forget and forgive you for what you did with me"

Tears rolled from my eyes because of two months separation and the pain I went through.

He closed his fist, his eyes turned red, it was full of pain,with tears but he didn't utter a single word. I knew he is trying hard to control his feelings but, why would he??

Atleast he can throw his frustration but he is not, I was much surprised to see this calm and self controlled new Arjun. Subconsiously I got a flash of old arrogant Arjun, how did he change like this??

He is not getting angry on me but why?? What happened to him??

Did he really love me??

So, it means whatever granny said about him was true. My eyes twinkled in ray of joy.

No.. No.. Radhika don't fly high first you need to confirm his feelings for you. How could I confirm now?

I got an idea...I muttered

"Am I a slut to you to sleep whenever you want?? You will touch me and run away just like that. So can I sleep with anyone right in your absence??" A sudden hit I felt a pain on my cheeks.

I felt apologetic for the words I picked up, I knew it would tear his heart but, without any option I had to do that. I want him to confess his feelings for me.

He slapped me hard and standing infront of me like a wounded lion. Holding my cheeks gasped my breathe in fear. He held my chin and made me look into his eyes. It shows his agony, he is going to break at anytime.
