You wake. The bright sun shines through the tent which causes you to wake. Rick and Carl were gone. I got up and headed outside. Maggie and Dale were sat on top of the van.

Maggie: "Mornin' y/n!" she waves and smiles.

Dale: "Morning y/n." he also says.

y/n: "Morning guys." you smile.

You look around and see Shane back at the car with Princess. You walk towards them both.

y/n: "Morning Princess, morning Shane." you say with a hand on the car.

Princess: "Morning y/n!"

Shane: "Oh, morning y/n." he says looking at you.

You look away and ask: "So what are you actually doing with this car?"

Shane: "Well Dale told me to take all of the parts off and see if they can 'upgrade' the camper van." he sighs.

y/n: "I see, taking a while huh?"

Shane: "Yeah. I could use some more help too." he cockily says with a smile. I see Andrea heading my way.

y/n: "Well Shane, i think Andrea would be better for the job. Isn't that right Andrea?" you say whilst pulling her towards you facing Shane with a smile.

Andrea: "I- uh sure." she hastily smiles and laughs quietly.

y/n: "Great! Andrea, where's Amy?" you ask politely.

Andrea: "Pretty sure she's down the lake already i'm not sure." she smiles. I knew that she liked Shane. Yesterday down the lake she always glanced at him. It was like me with Rick. Yeah, Rick. Where is he anyways?

I walk over to Maggie and Dale and ask: "Where is everyone?"

Dale: "Hunting. Daryl, Glenn, Sasha and Ty. By the way, are they your siblings?" he asks.

y/n: "Yes, sorry if they were rude last name for not introducing themselves." you apologise and say.

Dale: "No worries dear, they introduced themselves this morning actually. You were still asleep."

You nod and go to walk away.

Dale: "y/n! I forgot to say." he shouts.

You turn around to face Dale.

y/n: "Everything okay?" you ask.

Dale: "Rick told me to tell you that he didn't want to wake you this morning. He said that he was going to take you hunting but you must've needed the sleep."

Maggie: "Wait ... you guys slept together?!?" she exclaims. Dale's eyes widen from what he just heard.

y/n: "What? No. We didn't- forget it." you say and walk away towards the lake. You can hear Maggie and Dale laughing behind you. What a bunch of idiots.

You see Carol, Lizzie, Mika, Sophia and Carl by the lake. Any was in a boat fishing. You arrive and Mika runs to you and gives you a hug. She's such a sweet girl. You stroke her head.

y/n: "How is everyone today then?" you shout out.

Carol: "We're great, aren't we kids?" she smiles.

They all exclaim "Yes!" before getting back to what they were doing.

Carl was back into the lake. Sophia and Lizzie were playing together and Mika was holding my hand. Carol finally looked at peace. I'm glad Ed was gone, especially for her.

You sit next to Carol.

y/n: "How're you feeling today?" you ask.

Carol sighs: "I'm okay. Better than the last 10 years."

You look at Carol and hold her shoulder. She was an amazing woman.

Carl: "y/n! I caught another frog!" he bellows.

You smile brightly and get up from the ground.

y/n: "Really? That's great Carl! I'm proud of you! Now, you need to catch only 2 more!" you say proudly.

You sit back down next to Carol.

Carol: "Your siblings are so friendly."

y/n: "That's good to hear. Our dad always brought us up with manors." you say proudly.

Carol: "What was he like?" she asks.

y/n: "He taught us a lot of things we didn't need then but have needed now. I'm grateful for that, always."

Carol looks at you and smiles.

y/n: "My mum ... she ... sorry. I haven't spoken about this to anyone." you sigh and look away.

Carol: "It's okay. Take your time y/n. I'm always here for you." she places her hand over yours and smiles.

Mika: "y/n i'm hungry." she says.

y/n: "I may have some things in my backpack. You stay here and i'll go get it okay?"

Mika: "Okay." she nods.

Carl: "Me too y/n!" he shouts.

y/n: " I could never forget you silly!"

You hurry and head up to camp. Dale and Maggie were still sat at the top of the van. Andrea and Shane were still working on the car too. Maybe i should see if i can find any snacks for them, they've been working pretty hard in this heat. You enter Ricks tent and grab your bag. Your hand makes its way to the bottom and you see some food. You pull out a breakfast bar, a packet of crisps, a can of coke and a chocolate bar. Well, that's healthy. I did promise the kids the snacks after all. Guess Shane and Andrea will have to wait.

You head down to the lake and see Mika and Carl patiently waiting for their snacks to arrive, which is me.

y/n: "Okay, so i have a packet of crisps, a chocolate bar, coke or a chocolate bar."

Mika: "Can i have the crisps please?" she politely asks.

y/n: "Of course, can you share with Lizzie? This is all i have."

Mika nods her head as she's given the crisps.

Carl: "Can i have the chocolate bar?"

y/n: "hm ... i didn't hear the magic word?" you teasingly say.

Carl: "Please!" he begs. You hand him the bar as he ferociously tears it open with his teeth. You watch as he devours it from hunger. You smile at him as he gets chocolate covered over his face. You hand Carol the can of coke. She looks at you and declines.

y/n: "Take it or i'll throw it away." She quickly takes it as you chuckle. You then walk over to Sophia.

y/n: "Hey." you say. Sophia looks over at Carol for reassurance. The last words about me said to her was to stay away. You hand her the breakfast bar and her face lights up with happiness.

Sophia: "For me?" she asks.

y/n: "Yes, now eat." you encourage her.

She eats the bar like an animal. She must've been hungry. You hear a voice shout your name from a distance. It was Aimee.

Amy: "Y/n!"

y/n: "Hey Amy." you say whilst walking towards her.

Amy: "Look how much fish i caught this morning!" she grabs the bag off of the floor to show me. It was a lot. Which means, extra food for tonight! This was great news.

Amy: "Do you mind helping me carrying these bags up to camp? They're pretty heavy so be ca-"

You pick them up easily and head towards camp quickly. Amy stood in shock from your strength as she struggles. She admires you.

You arrive at camp once again and Dale and Maggie were helping Shane with the car. You walk towards the burnt out fire and place the fish onto one of the logs.

You turn back and see Amy on the floor. You run towards her and she was laughing on the floor.

y/n: "Are you okay?" you say confused.

Amy: "Yep! It's just that fish ... is so ... heavy!" she laughs loudly. You pick up the fish and carry it back to the logs before turning around and helping Amy up. She was acting ... strange. Abnormal in my opinion.

Merle: "We're back bitches!" he says laughing loudly.

Daryl was carrying a huge deceased deer and placed it next to the fish.

Glenn: "Now that's a lot of food." he says with his hands on his hips smiling. You smile and see Ty and Sasha return behind Glenn with sweat dripping.

Aimee: "y/n- I think i'm gonna-"

Amy: "I'm so so sorry y/n. I feel like i've got a fever." she says as she wipes her mouth. Andrea hurries over to Amy and rubs her back behind the camper van. Your trousers were covered in puke. You quickly hurry to Ricks tent and change your clothes. You find some shorts and put them on. It was hot after all. You exit the tent and walk towards the camper van. The first face you see is:

I clear my throat loudly as his eyes were fixed upon my legs. He plays it off and acts like he wasn't looking but we both know ... .

Merle: "Well sugar i might have to get me a piece of that now." he says to me. Just before i or Rick could say something Daryl speaks up.

Daryl: "Shut the hell up Merle." he exclaims at him.

You look at Daryl in shock. I'm surprised he said that. To his own brother too.

Glenn: "y/n. Get over here!"

I run over but feel a set of eyes preying upon my body. I swear to fuck if it's Merle i'm gonna kick his a-

Andrea: "Damn y/n! Nice ass." she winks as she points at Rick. My cheeks flush red as i hurry over to Glenn. You can hear Rick laughing behind before heading down to the lake.

y/n: "What's up Glenn?" i ask.

Glenn: "I know that you'll be the most calm person about this but ... i think the herd are gonna find us."

y/n: "What? Are you- are you sure?" i whisper.

Glenn: "Yes ... no ... i don't know. But, i think they are."

y/n: "Wait but how? i drove around the city then led this way. How can they do that?"

Glenn: "It's possible it can happen. I just think we need to be cautious and even leave this place before night."

y/n: "Have you told Rick?" Glenn gulps and shakes his head. I lower your eyebrows.

y/n: "Are you kidding me?! Go and tell him goddamn it!" i say.

Glenn: "He ... can you tell him? I need to figure out a plan first. Plus, he likes you the most out of all of us."

y/n: "Wait rea-" Glenn pushes me to move and i exhale and make my way down to the lake. I see Rick with Sophia and Lizzie.

y/n: "Rick!" i shout out with a smile. I run over and grab his hand and lead him away from the children.

Rick: "Hey what's wrong?" he says concerned.

y/n: "Glenn thinks that the herd are on their way." i blurt out quietly. I realise that i'm still holding his hand, i let go quickly before he notices.

Rick: "Wait ... you're not kidding are you?" he asks.

I shake my head and gave him a worried look.

Rick pulls my head into his arms and whispers: "Do you think we need to leave tonight?"

y/n: "Glenn thinks leave before night." I pull away with flushed cheeks.

y/n: "We're the only ones who know. What do you think we should do Rick? What about the kids? Should

we tell the others?" i ask concerned.

Both Rick and myself look at eachother then at Carl.

y/n: "The scream came from camp." i say to Rick.

We both run towards camp. Rick tells Carol to take care of the kids and keep them away from conflict.

We run to camp to see Amy lying on the floor. Andrea's screams were awakening. And it was awakening the wrong things. I stood in shock as Rick is stood behind with his hand on my shoulder. His face said it all. But it was Amy. Amy got bit.
