《The Rejected Royal》2 Years Later

"Honey! I'm home!!" My husband says as he comes inside our wonderful tree house.
"Really? How cheesy could you possibly get?" I ask, playfully.
"I can get extremely cheesy." He replies.
"Yes I know. Now on to more important matters." I start while walking towards him, "The kingdom wants us to claim our spots as King and Queen. They said that if we claim our spots, as well as Brian and Jessica, the savior will be born. Or something like that. And to think all the work we did in destroing the twin demon was for nothing. It has a twin. Who knew?" (I was going to add this into the story, but I honestly don't know anything about this. My best friend is a fan of Amaterasu, I didn't know anything about her before she told me about it.)
"Ok. When do they want us to?" He asks.
"Today. It actually starts today at 3:00." I'm ready I have everything ready for tonight. I just need to get dressed.
"Ok then you get ready, while I get ready. I'll tell one of the maids to get the car ready. You know how cold it is out there." He chuckles at the end.
"Ok see you then." I say while going upstairs.
*At the ceremony*
Wow there are a LOT of people here.... Where are Brian and Jessica?
"Hey!" I hear a voice from behind me. I turn around to face Jessica and Brian. Wow what a coincidence.
"Hey. You ready to be announced Royal beta and beta female?" I ask them.
"Yeah, I guess. I mean I was an alpha before, but Royal beta is better...Right?" Brian replies. Next thing I know I feel someone's arms slither around my waist and their chin on my shoulder. I go on full defense mode and completely elbow the person in the stomach.

"Ouch, princess, that hurts." The voice says. I sniff and realize I just elbowed my mate in the stomach.
"Uhh...SORRY!" I yell and get everyone's attention. What a way to start the ceremony.
"Well, everyone. Since we have your attention, let's start the ceremony. Since we don't have a current King and Queen this will be done the same way we add members to packs." Logan starts.
"If the future Queen could please stand next to me." Logan says loudly, which I roll my eyes to since I'm already standing next to him.
He chuckles and continues, "Now would the future King come. Oh wait, I'm already here." No one laughs, and I giggle because of that but Logan thinks it's cause his joke was funny. No, honey, no. It wasn't.
"First off. Does anyone object with having Emily West and Logan Rodriguez as your King and Queen?" He speaks loudly for everyone to hear. After a while he continues, "If no one objects, may I present your new King and Queen." He raises both of our arms and continues on with the ceremony.
"Now may the future Royal Beta and Female Beta come up please." He does the same thing he did to us for Jessica and Brian, before announcing that the ceremony was over and everyone could just stay and party all night. And that's exactly what we did. We partied all night. I wonder what the future holds for the Royals.

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.
