《For My Eyes ONLY》two

Definitely did not expect to be driving by myself to prom but here I was.

Driving myself to prom..

Pulling up to the school was even more gut wrenching then I thought it would be. I was going into prom alone, my date was inside with someone else.. and once I stopped repeating that in my head, I eventually forced myself to get out of the car and drug my feet all the way up to the front doors of the bland high school.

Prom was in the gym like every other corny prom movie you've ever seen so I made my way through the hallways that echoed with moans from the bathrooms.

High School.

Finally, I was frozen facing the front of the gym..

My stomach did unnerving flips forcing me to take a shaky breathe.

I was done delaying myself from just going into to a stupid school dance. Without hesitation, well.. Without further hesitation I stepped inside confidently and immediately threw up a little in my mouth.

It reeked of sweaty teens, which made a lot of sense since sweaty teens were centimeters away from each other grinding like they had ten minutes to live.

I tried finding Nashly and Leo from the outside but the only way I was going to find anyone was if I made my way through the sea of sweaty teens and I really really was not looking forward to that. I, of course, left my phone in the car so I didn't see another choice, or an opening for that matter.

I slowly approached the crowd and started to ease myself between the sweaty bodies. Once I became a part of the crowd, the smell was truthfully not as bad.

My nostril hairs were, in fact disintegrated, but the smell only made in hard to breath a little!

Who needs nostril hairs anyway.

I felt as if I'd been walking through the crowd for hours but I knew it'd only been a few minutes when I finally spotted familiarity.

"Ovva here bich ! thisaaa way!" Nash slurred out, barely.

Wait a minute

"Nash are you.. drunk?" I said unbelievingly. Prom meant everything to her. It was definitely in my nature to get super trashed on prom night but Nash actually gave a shit about things.

"She drank a lot of the punch and I didn't try any until her fourth cup.. She's wasted. I didn't know the guys were gonna spike it .. I-i- should've been more careful. I know how much this meant to her." Leo sighed raking his hands through his hair nervously.

"Hey, it's fine Leo.. What means the most to her is that you're here, so stay with her while I try to find some water or bread." I stated proudly.

Madison saves our prom?

Yes please.

I skipped off exuberantly.

Except not really because again, I had to fight my way through the grinding bodies which took a good eight minutes, but once I saw the table I actually skipped,

Well as much as my dress would allow me.

There was a clear liquid in a bowl that I assumed was water but of course, I'm not Leo, I needed to make sure so I scooped a little into a cup and sipped.

Screwing my face up, I fought the urge to bile all over the different cookies.

That was pure liquor.

"You don't like skull ?" A deep, unfamiliar voice from behind me said.

"Typically, I like a little orange juice in mine, but no I don't drink it straight you asshole," I spit with much distaste and turned around.

As I spun around a little too quickly, and my gaze dropped with my demeanor as I saw Ashton Moore.

No wonder.

Now here's where most girls would swoon or fall all over him or some slutty bullshit like that. but I,

look to the redhead already hanging from his arm, looked up to him, and mustered up my most polite tone.

"Can I get you two anything?"

I smiled a scary smile.

Ashton blinked once.

Then twice.

Three times.

"Eh.. no I don't think so." He mumbled, searching around for something.

"Babe let's go to my car." The redhead, who's name I believe was Danica slurred, trying to look seductive or set me off, but failing so miserable I couldn't suppress my smile.

I turned around before he responded because, quiet frankly, I didn't care and I was playing hero to my trashed bestfriend so I grabbed a cup and skipped off to the water fountain.

As I made my way down the hall, I couldn't help but realize that the moans were so much louder on this side. I laughed and stepped up to the fountain pressing the button firmly wishing it was my ears. The fountain happened to be right next to the janitors closet where the moans were coming from inside, piercing my ears.

Now this wouldn't have been a problem,

I would have skipped merrily back to Nashly and given her the water and plenty more after that, if I wouldn't have heard a certain name being called out.

A name I was a little too familiar with, or maybe I wasn't as familiar as I'd thought.

"Mmm.. Cal," moaned out some female..

Yeah.

There was one Cal in this school.

I didn't want to make a quick assumption I'd regret so I listened for her to say his name again.

Just one more time.

Maybe my presence was known, because things got extremely silent.

"Hey Madiso—"

Jesus take the wheel

"What the hell Ashton? I'm busy and who taught you my name?" I scream-whispered.

"Are you listening in on them having sex? Freaky, I like it."

"Ashton please shut up I'm trying to do something." I whispered hopefully.

And he did.

He shut up good and listened with me every once in a while giving me a sly smirk. For about 5 minutes no more noise came from the closet. Just as I was going to walk away and Ashton looked at me questionably, it happened.

"Cal they're gone." A different girl voice whispered not quietly enough.

Picking up the cup of water, I looked to Ashton as if to say 'Bingo Bitch!'

"Wait isn't Cal your date?"

He barely had time to finish and before I even got the chance to question why he knew this anyway, I flung open the closet. I revealed Cal, in the middle of two blonde bimbos who were currently removing a mop handle from their laps.

"Oh hey Cal, fancy seeing you here with a marry band of whores since you were the one who asked me to be your date right?" My cold tone betrayed everything I felt on the inside and I was grateful.

He looked me up and down, taking his bottom lip piercing in his mouth, before pushing one of the girls roughly so he could sit up.

Okay not gonna lie the threesome thing definitely caught me off guard, but I fought to keep the arrogant smile planted on my face.

"Look-loo-look you're a nice girl--" Cal stammered causing me to cringe.

There was no way in hell I was going to let him finish that.

"Loo-look-look." I mocked his stuttering, a shocked look coming over my face that matched his. I abruptly stopped my sentence and threw the cup of water at his face forgetting that the cup was glass.

Oops.

Immediately I saw blood begin to trickle down his lip and I panicked a little, on the inside.

He stood up, shirtless,

who knew he had such a nice chest?

and started slow, menacing steps towards me. I was too stunned to run.

I just kind of stood there, admiring his chest which now had a small stream of blood running down it. He leaned straight into my face and I had to look up to see his.

I took a quick step back, panicking about the blood threatening to get on me.

"You little bitch." He ground out at me, word by word.

At this point I should definitely, probably be running. Except I'm wearing 6 inch heels and I didn't practice running in them enough to be confident to sprint, so still I stood there looking up at his fuming features.

In a flash, I was behind Ashton, who I forgot was standing beside me and I felt relief crashing through me.

"And what are you going to do," he took a few steps closer, laughing lightly to himself while keeping his eyes trained on the ground.

"Fûckîng hit her?" He growled, as his head shot up to eye level with Cal's.

Now he stood nose to nose with Cal, his hand still resting lightly on my stomach compared to the dark tone his voice held. He made what I imagined to be a mean face at Cal.

I'd never know because I was behind him but something about him had changed. He was angry in a way I couldn't understand.

They stood there for a few more moments until Cal rounded up his circus animals and left.

Ashton yanked my wrist and started dragging me towards the parking lot doors. I didn't utter a word the whole way out of 'what the fuck just happened' syndrome.

I could tell he was still pissed by his tight grip on my arm and futile attempts at calming himself down.

When we finally reached the parking lot, I continued to focus on the ground kicking rocks, while Ashton continued to calm himself down.

After about ten minutes, I'd grown bored and decided I was going to leave.

What had I even come here for anyway?

And why was my head spinning in a whirlwind?

"So, uh.. Thanks Ashton for saving me back there hahahah.. um yeah," I said punching him in the arm softly. "That was cool." I said under my breath.

"But I'm going to head out I'm actually.. really tired and haven't had the best day as you just witnessed but thanks, really."

Why did I have to be so awkward?

"Has he hit you before or what?" Ashton stated coldly, looking straight at me.

"No? I didn't even really talk to him before he asked me to prom unless he needed notes or I needed notes and it isn't really a big deal I mean I did bust his lip and stuff." I gulped, my voice getting quieter and quieter as the sentence went on.

Finally, his fists unclenched, and his glorious smirk took over his features.

"He's gonna be alright little one." He said. To me.

Did Ashton Moore just?

Am I drunk?

"Ashton.

I'm not one of your little one night stands that you can give pet names to." I snapped and immediately regretted it when the cold stare resurfaced to his face.

"I don't even know their real names, why would I give them nicknames Madison. Don't take it out on me because you couldn't satisfy your date." he clarified with a stone expression.

And I wanted to blame it on the one sip of alcohol I had in my system, or the terrible night I had or the fact I was failing my bestfriend right this very moment but I cried. Right then and there I let Ashton Moore make me cry.

"Are you crying?" he blinked, not a change in his cold stare.

"NO! F-f-uck you Ashton." I barely got out between my hiccups.

Great now not only did my date ditch me for a GROUP of girls, my bestfriend was wasted, her boyfriend was waiting on me to come save the day, and I was stuck outside with Ashton Moore because I was not going back inside with my makeup running a marathon down my face and a tsunami of a headache.

I started to walk towards my car, mid-cry like the sensitive little bitch that I am. Starting the car, I dug into the glove box for my phone.

Quickly, I shot both Leo and Nashly a text that I was sorry and would tell her later what for.

As I was pulling off I saw Ashton leaning up against his car, hands in his hair.

Why are the most attractive the shittiest?
