I was anxious, nervous and excited as I entered Nick's room, now mine too. It was not the first time I'd entered his room, but today I didn't step in as Arielle Summers, his love.

Today I stepped in as Arielle Summers Arnold, his love as well as wife.

My heart was beating so wildly that it was almost painful. I could feel my cheeks burning as I walked up to the mirror and stood in front of it. I had never been tenser in my life. It's not like I haven't slept with him before, but he never tried to start anything with me.

He always kept me before himself, my comfort, my feelings and as much as I was ready to give all of me to him tonight, a major part of me felt scared.

I looked at the gifts in front of me, I couldn't help but smile. I picked up the black box with gold lettering and walked towards the bed. I stopped in front of it and opened the box. I took the ring out of the box and held it in my hands, it was so beautiful.

It was given by Mama. I smiled as the precious gem sparkled in the light. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I could feel tears welling up in my eyes. I didn't want to cry.

When did I become so lucky, again?

"You hurt her and you'll see the worst of me Nico.", I couldn't help but chuckle at the threat Mama gave him when we were leaving for home from the venue.

I walked to the dressing table and sat down in front of it. The hairpins were biting into my scalp irritating the living daylights out of me and as much as I wanted to look good, I dropped the idea. I just wanted to remove these pins and this dress.

As I pulled the third pin, I heard the door open. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I could feel my heart start to race as I heard his footsteps approaching me. I opened my eyes and turned around, my hectic heart slowing down seeing the warm smile on his face.

"Amore?" I don't know if it was me who was going crazy or it was his intention. His voice sounded so quiet yet so alluring that it sent shivers down my spine. "I'm so sorry, Amore. Aiden was being a pain in the a*s, he wouldn't let me in my own home." His tone hinted he was annoyed, this means it's you who's going insane Arielle Summers Arnold.

Knock it off!

"It's alright," I said as I turned back and tried to continue my work, a very failed attempt to distract myself from gaping at the ridiculously gorgeous man, who was my husband because now he was right in front of the mirror and dangerously close to me.

It's not the first time, Ari. Stop being so apprehensive.

"Ouch." I hissed as I pulled another hairpin out. He shook his head as he held my hands stopping any further movement.

No no no! I chanted in my head as I felt a warm hand on the back of my neck."Stay still.", he commanded as he gently drew the pins out one by one. His expert fingers moved from the top of my head to the ends of my hair, making sure each pin was removed. I sighed in relief when all the hairpins were removed from my hair.

"You should get out of this dress, Amore.", he said as he slowly turned me around. I felt his fingers on the back of my neck once more. I turned around and looked at him, he was still staring at me, I could feel the heat on my cheeks. He pushed a few strands of hair that were hanging in front of my face away with his index finger and took a step towards me. As much as I was tempted to step back, I didn't.

I knew if I did, he would think I'm afraid of him. I could feel the heat coming from his body, his eyes were fixed on my lips. I took a step towards him, closing the distance between us, his eyes followed me. I could feel my breathing hitch and his eyes instantly moved down to my lips, my cheeks burning up even more.

"Jesus Christ!", he mumbled as he finally took a short step back. He grabbed my waist and gently pulled me into his chest, his hands moved from my waist to my hips. He held me close to him, his lips on my forehead, his stubble tickling my skin. "I can't believe, you're my wife now."

I smiled as I felt his heart pace just like mine. He slowly moved his lips to my cheeks. I closed my eyes, savouring his touch. Taking his time, he kissed his way to my ear and whispered softly. "Did I tell you how ravishing you look to me right now?" His lips wreaked a literal havoc on my neck as he kissed my skin at an agonizing pace. My hands fisted his shirt in a deathlock as he moved his lips from my neck to my shoulder. I froze all of a sudden, everything was new to me, I felt comfortable with him but again I was nervous too.

He stopped as he felt my stiff muscles, my heart paced even more loudly. He tipped my chin up to meet his gaze." Look at me." he gently brushed his thumbs across my lips. "What is it?"

I shook my head as I saw pure love for me.

"Nervous?"

"Yes.", I confessed as his eyes stared at me with such admiration. "I'm so nervous, I don't know what to do, I don't want to make a fool of myself. Trust me you make me feel so safe and comfortable but it's just that everything is too new to me. I- I want-", he shushed me before I could finish my embarrassing rant.

"It's okay to be nervous, Amore." He turned me such that my back was against his chest. His heart was racing faster than mine and it made me feel warm inside. I could hear the loud pounding of his heart. "Felt it?", he asked silently.

"Trust me when I tell you I'm more nervous." I nodded as I felt him nuzzle my neck. I closed my eyes as I felt his breath brush over my skin. "I have told you before-", he paused as he turned me back to face him. "I will never ever force you into something you don't want to do. You're my wife which means in every decision you get an equal share, maybe more.", he smiled as he stroked my cheek with his thumb." I don't like to wait but believe me when I say, you're the only person in the world I'm willing to wait for."

I couldn't help but feel a surge of emotions inside me, they were so overwhelming, the love I felt for him was so prominent and overwhelming. I felt so blessed, I couldn't stop smiling as I inched closer and pressed my lips against his. I felt my heart beating faster and faster and I was in such a state of ecstasy. I felt lightheaded as I felt his arms wrap around me. "Loving you is the best feeling in the world," I whispered as I felt all the nervousness in my body slowly fading. I gave him a passionate kiss, my hands caressing his muscles. I felt him shiver as I slowly pulled away, pressing my lips against his cheek.

Jesus Christ! What did I do to get him?

I turned as I pushed my hair aside." I need you to help me remove my dress." I smirked internally as I saw him gulp through the mirror. When did I become a sadist?

I'm going in hell for teasing him so much.

"You sure love to test me, don't you?" I laughed as I saw his jaw clenching with tension.

"You bet.", I smirked as I felt his hand on my zipper. He gently pulled it down, his eyes never leaving mine. "Thank you, Nick," I said genuinely but just as I made my way to his, scratch that, to our closet, he grabbed my hand and kissed me on my lips leaving me breathless. "You're welcome, Amore.", he shot me a wink and walked to the washroom leaving me in a dizzy daze.

The man is going to be the death of me.

I shook my head as I walked to the closet and pulled out one of his white shirts and a pair of my PJs. 

As I pulled open the door, I saw him standing, just in a f*cking towel.

Someone tell me, he didn't do that to get back at me.

This was the first time, I'd seen him shirtless and to say he was a fine piece of art was an understatement. His body was firm and sleek with a set of abs that, if I didn't know any better, I'd say was built to make women swoon. He stepped closer and his body pressed up against mine as he leaned forward. "Are you okay, Mrs Arnold?

I felt my breath going labour as he kept his hands on either side of my face, courtesy to the stupid wall behind me. A droplet of water fell onto my forehead from his hair which were wet due to the shower he took. "Yes, I'm okay, thank you," I murmured as I felt him kiss the tip of my nose. "The things this blush does to me." The damned blush grew deeper!

"You... You did it deliberately, didn't you?" I felt my face blossom even more as he chuckled and kissed my forehead. "I did, didn't I?" he smirked and I was just three seconds away from stepping on his foot.

"You're incorrigible."

"I*kiss*learn*kiss*from*kiss*the*kiss*best." I scowled at him."It was you who started that temptation game in the first place." He took a step back and looked at me who was pushing herself against the wall so much that it was just three seconds away from moving.

That's a bit exaggerating.

"Next time you better know than to mess with me, Amore." He said and walked into the closet.I kept my hand on my chest to calm my anxiety.

I won't be surprised if I get high blood pressure anytime soon.

He walked back to our room and sat down on the bed, now dressed in his casual clothes, much to my dismay.

Christ! I didn't just say that.

Damn you! Damn you, Nicolas Arnold.

"Come.", he snapped his gaze at me, his piercing steel-grey eyes wreaking havoc on my poor heart. When I didn't move even a single inch, he frowned, "I won't repeat myself, Amore."

Jesus! No need to use that intimidating tone.

With very cautious steps, I walked towards the bed and quickly lay on my side. I could hear him chuckling and within a second I was in his arms, a warm feeling engulfing my whole body.

He pulled the covers on us as he tightened his arms, as if afraid I'll disappear out of his sight."Relax, Amore. I won't eat you."

I relaxed but my breathing stopped as I heard his next word."Yet."

I turned around and glared at him furiously making him let out an exhilarating laugh. "They say killing people is easier in their sleep," I smirked but his laughter just doubled.

Wasn't I threatening enough?

"You, my dear wife can't kill anyone even if your life depended on it." I felt my face flush at the term he used to address me.

He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer, "Sleep, Amore."

"I'm happy you're my husband.", I quietly murmured. A warm smile appeared on his face as he kissed my forehead. "Thank you for being my wife."

That night I slept so peacefully that it can't be spelt in words.
