《Mr. CEO's Fiery Nanny》44. "I do."

It's been five weeks since Evans' and Tara's wedding and I was genuinely happy and relieved when everything happened amazingly without any complications.
The very same day I proposed to Nick and by God, I'll never be able to forget the moment when I saw his eyes tearing with happiness. He couldn't hold back his emotions and he told me that he'd love to spend the rest of his life with me.
He told me how he'd always imagined me as his wife.
When did I become so lucky again?
And tomorrow I was going to permanently write these luck lines in my hand. Tomorrow I was going to make my fake fiancé my husband for real.
I'm going to marry my Nicolas Arnold.
I've been so excited by the prospect of this moment that I can't even sleep. I didn't sleep even a wink and neither did he. How do I know? Well, he'd been messaging me every second since Mama had kept him away from me for the last thirty-two hours.
In her words, it's unfortunate for the bride and groom to meet before the wedding.
Moms!
Only if Mumma was here too.
"Amore, be ready I'm going to take you somewhere." His next text popped and my eyes widened as I read it.
I quickly typed back a reply as to what he was doing only to get a wink in reply.
Bloody wink!
Has he lost his mind? Already, Mama razzes me so much if she got to know that we sneaked out of the house, she'd definitely tease me to death.
There was a knock on my window. The panic on my face turned to shock when I realized that he was already here.
Don't tell me, he'd already left for my house and then he messaged me.
With very cautious steps, I walked to the window and quietly opened it."Come out, Amore." Mr yelled as he threw another pebble at the window. "Mama is sleeping in the next room, Nick. F*cking keep it down." I hissed.
"Come down if you don't want her or your neighbours to wake up.", he yelled back. My heart plummeted against my ribs as I stood there with my hand on the window, not daring to move.
"I'm not coming." I mumbled turning back when he yelled, "I'll come up, Amore and I mean it."
I smirked as I crossed my arms to my chest."Come and get your arse kicked by Mama."
He smirked and my grin wavered. He wouldn't dare, would he?
As he made his way towards my porch, my eyes widened and I cursed out loud. "Jesus Christ! fine, I'm coming." I gritted out and his smirk changed into a full-fledged smile.
This man will surely be the death of me someday. He's already so dangerous that I can't even imagine the havoc he'll wreak on me in the future.
With light steps, I, first of all, checked on Mama. She was sleeping peacefully. I mentally made a note in my mind to ask for her forgiveness tomorrow but after the wedding.
As soon as I opened the door, I was greeted with a beautiful sight. He was leaning against his black matte Camaro, a soft smile playing on his face. "Screw you, Nicolas Arnold."
"Tomorrow, Amore. Tomorrow." He laughed and I couldn't help but gasp at his shameless. F*cking hell! Was he the same person who f*cking asked for my permission to hug me? He gave me a long look and I was feeling difficult to even breathe, let alone talk. The blush on my face wouldn't leave me alone.

"Come on Amore." He grabbed my hand and made me sit in the car gently. He ignited the engine and started us on our way to wherever we were going.
"If Mama gets to know about our little adventure. I don't know I'm putting all the blame on you." I shrugged as I wrapped my arms around myself. He smiled as he tossed a warm shawl to me. "Knew you'd forget your coat in panic." I couldn't help but get all warmed up just by his words.
How the hell could he know me so well? I looked at him who once again played all casual. Only if he knew, his simple gestures make my heart race.
He turned on the radio and 'Sometimes' by Ariana Grande played. It was a song I was in love with and he knew it.
I ain't even think of leaving sometimes
I ain't even think of letting go
I ain't ever thought of going nowhere
I don't even see it down the road
Cause we're collectin' moments
Tattoos on my mind
I ain't even think of leaving sometimes
I ain't even think of letting go
Not even sometimes
The song ended and I hadn't realized so was our journey. As I looked in front, I couldn't help but feel my heart growing heavy with emotions.
My decision to marry him was right.
Absolutely perfect!
He had brought me to my Mumma's cemetery.
He looked at me as he held the door to my side open."We can't start our new life without Mumma's blessings, can we?" I smiled and nodded my head. Jesus! I love this man so much.
"Come.", he stretched his hand out for me to take and I let him. The night was dark but the stars were shining brightly. The air was chilly and I was genuinely grateful to Nick for bringing this warm shawl with him. A sudden gust of wind came and the hair on my neck stood on end. He wrapped the shawl around me tighter as we walked towards my Mumma's grave.
"Mumma this is my fiancé." I smiled as I saw a look of surprise flicker across his face. "Your little Ari is getting married."His lips curved upwards and he wrapped his arms around me.
"Correction, your clumsy Ari."
I rolled my eyes at him making him chuckle. I'm blessed to get someone so loving in my life. As I looked at her name 'Serena Summers', I felt her presence again. I could feel her hand on my face, I could feel her kissing my temple lovingly. I looked to my side only to see her smiling her heart out.
I'm happy Mumma.
I saw her smile broadening, she nodded as she disappeared, but this time I didn't feel hollow. She has been and she will be there with me, always.
I turned and wrapped my arms around him firmly. I could feel all of my emotions rushing through me. "Thank you so much for bringing me here," I whispered. He smiled down at me before kissing my forehead softly. "Of course, Amore."
The drive back to my house was surprisingly very short. When I opened my door to get inside, he held my hand and my heart rate spiked."I'll see you at the altar, Amore." He kissed my forehead again and shooting a beautiful smile, he went back to his car.

"Drive safe," I shouted before I went inside.
"Of course." My heart jumped in its place as I turned around only to witness Mama standing right behind me. She raised her eyebrow as she narrowed her eyes at me."By the way, you forgot your mobile here, child." She said and left leaving me stunned.
~~~
"Do I look pretty?"
"Ari, this is the tenth time you'd asked me the same question," Mama said as she fixed my veil smiling. Since my Mumma was not with me, she played her role in every way possible. She didn't just make me a beautiful bride but also helped me in calming my anxiety. I was grateful for her presence.
"Let's go.", she said as she grabbed my hand but I do not understand why I felt so tense.
"Nervous?", she asked me. I nodded and she smiled at me."It's normal to be nervous on your wedding day, child. But you'll be fine. You're going to get tied to someone you love. You'll be fine. "She held my hand and gently tugged me as we walked towards the stairs.
With every step, the bloody jungle in my stomach intensified.
"Jesus Nico! Have some f*cking patience.", Mama snapped at her son who had called her, which may I add was the seventh call till now.
As I passed through the mirror set in my living room, I couldn't help but smile at my appearance. My wedding dress was not too fancy, but it was beautiful. It fit me perfectly and made me feel confident. The centre of attraction was my veil, which had beautiful little flowers intricated on its hem. My hair was styled in a bun and I was wearing a pair of golden heels not before practising with them for straight two hours before the wedding.
I don't want him to call me clumsy today.
My heart picked its pace as we settled in the car and started for the venue.
Just a few minutes, Ari and you'll get to see your man.
I was feeling a weird kind of excitement and nervousness. I was nervous because this man is the only one that ever came into my life. And I was excited because this man will be the one to take care of me all his life.
The car halted and Mama smiled at me before gently pulling me to her. "Bless you my, child," she whispered.
I frowned but my confusion subsided when I saw Evans and Aiden with Kia in front of the huge cathedral waiting for me. "You look beautiful, Arielle." They smiled and took my hands in theirs and smiled."Shall we?"
They were here to walk me down the aisle? My heart tugged.
As we made our way inside the cathedral, Kia ahead us. I couldn't help but be amazed seeing the number of people. The decorations were on point but all my eyes searched for was that one man for whom I was walking down the aisle.
There he was.
My fiancé.
My heart raced again, just the way it did, on the very first day when I confessed my love to him in my senses. He was dressed in a beautifully tailored black suit with a white shirt and black bow. The way he stood at the altar, he looked just like a prince.
Woah there Summers, you sound very cheesy now. Your to be husband is getting in your head.
Get a grip, woman!
His eyes shone in delight as he took in the sight of his bride. As he took in the sight of me.
And then he gave me the biggest smile in the world. It was the kind of smile that told me there was no world that could ever be more beautiful than this one.
It was the smile that made me fall for him again.
As I neared him, he took a step down, making me think that I had reached my goal. But then he took my other hand and led me to the altar."Jesus Christ! You look like a goddess, Amore. "He whispered and behind me, I heard Evans and Aiden chuckle.
I shook my head in disbelief as he glared at them giving them the I'll-see-you-morons-later look.
The priest began the ceremony. He held my hand in his hand and we stood facing each other, a bit shy.
"Will you have this woman to be your wife, to live together in holy marriage? Will you love her, comfort her, honour her, and keep her in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, be faithful to her as long as you both shall live?", the priest asked.
"I do.", Nick spoke without missing a beat.
"Will you have this man to be your husband, to live together in holy marriage? Will you love him, comfort him, honour him, and keep him in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, be faithful to him as long as you both shall live?", the priest asked to me.
I smiled as I squeezed his hand."I do."
Whispers rose from around the sea of people as he slipped a beautiful precious ring into my finger. "I'll never hurt you, Arielle Summers. I promise to be loyal and loving to you all my life."
I felt my heart tug at his sincere confession. I slipped the ring into his finger and smiled."I'll never leave your side, Nicolas Arnold. I swear on my life, I'll always be true to you, always be your strength, your support, and your life partner."
"You have declared your consent before the Church. May the Lord in his goodness strengthen your consent and fill you both with his blessings. That God has joined, man must not separate. Amen.", the pastor said and smiled at us broadly.
A loud thunder of claps erupted from the hundreds of people who were there to witness my marriage to Nicolas.
He was now my husband.
I was a wife, Nicolas Arnold's wife.
"You may now kiss the bri-", the priest never got the chance to complete his words as my husband pressed his lips against mine. The kiss was so dynamic that it left me breathless. "I love you, Arielle Summers Arnold. I always will."
I smiled as a tear ran down my cheek. Jesus! I've never felt so happy in my whole life."I'll love you forever Nicolas Arnold, till my last breath."
"Ladies and gentlemen presenting you Mr and Mrs Arnold." The church erupted in applause. Mrs Arnold.
Mrs Arielle Summers Arnold.
Sounds beautiful!
