I close my eyes and focus all my attention to my bed, i imagined it in mid air floating. I opened my eyes and just like what i imagined it's floating in mid air. Im getting better bit by bit...anyway i was practicing all week because Cole's words kept repeating in my head.

"I like you."

Argh stop thinking about that! Today's the ball so i need to get ready. What dress should in wear..? but as i thought that, someone knocked on my door, i opened it and no one was there but there's a box on the ground. I picked up the box and went back in.

"Wear this tonight." I read the note on the box. Its probably from Cole, I opened it and it revealed a dazzling gown.

I excitedly wore it and stared at the mirror awestruck.

"Wow.." i spun around and admired myself in the mirror, i look like a princess. Raza also flew around me in his tiny form. I fixed my hair and put it into a side updo.

I wore the necklace that Cole gave me since it matched my dress. I slip on some hills and done! I wonder what this ball is about though...As i thought that someone knocked on my door. It's probably Cole...I nervously opened the door.

"Cole..h,hey.." I said nervously my heart beating so loud that he can probably hear it.

"Zira..You look beautiful." He said kissing the back of my hand. His ears flushing a bright red.

"Thank you...you don't look too bad yourself." I said as he laughed lightly. Who am i kidding he looks so hot!

"Then let's get going or else we'll be late." Cole said offering his arm, which i gladly linked my arms with. Let's get this party over with. We got into his carriage since the ball is outside the academy.

"I see that you wore the necklace i gave you...It suits you well." Cole said staring at me openly.

"Thank you Cole.." I said blushing a little because of his stare.

"I like you."

His words last week rang in my head, Why am i thinking of that in this moment! Snap out of it Zira..Well it's okay to like him back right...I mean he did protect me from the heroine...J-just for tonight i wont conceal my feelings.

"Zira, we've arrived." Cole's voice interrupted my thoughts. I took his hand and went in the ballroom.

"The 1st prince has arrived!"

"Woah, he looks so charming."

"Isn't that Lady Eleanor? She looks beautiful."

"They look nice together."

The gossips of the students filled the room, before Cole gave them(Mostly boys) a death glare shutting them up.

"I greet his majesty, the king." I said with a graceful curtsy.

"Father." Cole said doing bowing his head coldly.

"You may rise. Enjoy the party Lady Eleanor." The emperor said staring at me.

We slowly got up, "I will your majesty, Thank you." I said calmly, the emperor replying with a nod then we went to the balcony.

"Ha...That was nerve-wrecking." I said tucking in a small lock of hair behind my ear.

"Anyway what is this ball for?" I faced him who was leaning on the railing.

"I don't know." He said while shrugging his shoulders. Yup he definitely knows something.

I look up and quietly admired the stars. We stood there in silence looking at the stars. Then we heard a pleasant and slow melody. We both looked at each other,

"May i have this dance, Lady Chrysantia?" Cole said offering me his hand.

"You may, Your highness." I jokingly replied and took his hand laughing. All eyes were on us as we started dancing to the sweet melody. I smiled nervously at him, Im confident in my dancing but why is it just as dancing?

"Why isn't anyone else dancing Cole?" I whispered to him as i twirled.

"Who knows." He said with a small smirk. After a while, the music finally stopped. That was even more stressful than talking to the emperor.

"Ill go stuff myself with some food." I said to Cole pointing to the dessert section. Of course he followed me. As i was putting some desserts on my plate, i saw Charles eating a slice of chocolate cake alone.

"Cole." I tugged on his sleeve, he looked at me,

"Let's go accompany Charles, he looks lonely." I said grabbing his hand and dragging him to Charles table. Cole just silently looked at Eleanor while being dragged.

"Charles!! Hi, what are you doing here alone?" I asked taking a seat, Cole followed sitting next to me glaring at Charles silently.

"Hugo and Constantine had something to do so i just sat here while eating to wait for them." Charles said eating another slice.

"Is it fine if we join you?" Why bother asking Zira when your already sitting.

"Yes." Charles said eating another slice happily.

"Yo, Cole why are you here." A voice behind us said,

"Alastair, Since when are you accepting party invites now?" Cole said annoyed.

"Since now, and i can't really refuse since i was invited by the emperor." Alastair said occupying a seat next to him. While me and Charles were happily eating, and Alastair and Cole talking(Roasting each other) Hugo and Constantine arrived.

"Sis, When did you get here?" Constantine said sitting beside me, and Hugo beside Charles.

"I dunno." I said before eating.

"Why are you here Cole and Alastair." Constantine said glaring daggers at both of them.

"Eleanor's my date."Cole said smirking.

"Cole and Eleanor are the only people i know here." Alastair said drinking a cup of water.

Their bickering stopped as soon as someone announced that the emperor has an announcement to make.

"As you may know, the 1st prince, Cole Alexander Lisanthium, is now 15 years old and today as decreed by me, the emperor. I announce Lady Eleanor Chrysantia's betrothal to Prince Alexander. That is all, Ill return now." The emperor said in a serious tone.

As i heard that i choked on the cupcake i was chewing,

"W,water!" Hugo swiftly gave me his untouched water. I drank it briefly. DID THE EMPEROR JUST ANNOUNCE THAT, well i already know that but all the people here will know!

We all bowed down as the emperor left the room, soon all attention were on me.

"Cole! Why didn't you tell me he was gonna announce our engagement?" I said giving Cole a glare.

"I didn't know. I thought he was just gonna announce that he was gonna choose a fiancee for me soon." Cole explained. Hmp, fine ill believe you for now.

"Ill return now, im feeling uncomfortable with all the stares." I whispered to the 5 of them. Especially Lilian's death glare, she is not even hiding it anymore. They replied by nodding, understanding me.

"Ill accompany you." Cole said following me. I don't care anymore. Constantine, Hugo, Alastair and Charles gaze were on Cole and Eleanor as they left the ballroom.

As we arrived in front of my room i was about to go in but i was stopped by Cole back hugging me. I stood there dumbfounded.

"C-cole?" I said trying to let him let go.

"Let's just stay like this for a while." Cole said burrowing his head in the crook of my neck and his grip on my waist tightening. Maybe he is feeling sad since he met with his father, after all they don't have a good relationship.

We sat stood there silently.

"Cole, are you alright..?" I asked him. He responded by nodding still hugging me.

"Im getting tired now." I said slowly. He let go leaned closer to me and his lips touching my forehead. I can hear his heart beating fast, maybe he could hear mine too. His touch left a warm feeling on my forehead.

"I really...really like you Eleanor." He said with a loving gaze.

"Don't push me away...please." I nodded shortly after..then it hit me that i also like him, i was just rejecting what i felt for him in fear of getting hurt. Since he likes me, it's okay if i wil like him back..right?

"Actually...I also l-like you Cole.." I said pushing him then went inside my room with my heart fluttering.
