minho ruffles haneul's hair as she pouts.
"so much happened in the span of a few weeks" she sighed
the boy frowns at her tone and pulls her into a big bear hug
"can we just forget about everything bothering us right now and focus on us?" he pouts
"as if that's possible" haneul rolls her eyes, chuckling

"ew! if you guys wanna eat each other's faces, do it somewhere else and not in the kitchen!" hyunjin hides behind seungmin (as an excuse to back hug him) as the new couple walked in the kitchen, making minho and haneul pull away
'it hasn't even been 3 seconds' minho pouts
"sure- ohh look at you two being so cute!" haneul fangirls over the two blushing boys
"we're cuter" minho mutters under his breath
"thanks, haneul. how's your prep for exam week?" seungmin asks, opening the fridge aas a clingy hyunjin never leaves from his back hug
"it's fine, im sure I'll pass" haneul sighs.
minho follows haneul inside her room. haneul laughs at the boy, "are you gonna watch me shower, clingy?"
"a-ah no no! i just- uh, I'll leave" minho leaves the room in a hurry, leaving a laughing haneul behind
"hyung, you wanna play mario kart?" hyunjin offers as he sees a minho with red cheeks huffing
"yeah" he joins, thinking it would make him less flustered.
"DING DONG MOTHERFUCKERS!" yeonjun shouts at the door, followed by a series if giggles
"oh, hey yeonjun hyung! soobin, shuhua" hyunjin nods, acknowledging their presence
"I'm pretty sure han's taking a shower"
minho's ear perk up at hyunjin's statement and his cheeks immediately turn red
'jesus chris this will be hard'

Forced into situations he was never prepared for and trying to cope with his past, Jayce tries to find safety in a place spoken about only in legends. There for the first time, he will make true friends and find people he will come to see as family. He will encounter strong enemies, build powerful alliances, and become a person his ancestors would be proud of. But surrounded by creatures he thought only existed in tales and pressed by the Empire’s constant expansion, Jayce’s safety may be only an illusion. To survive a world fraught with danger Jayce will need to grow stronger with each new experience and rebuild his once forgotten house. ********************************************************************** Note: The story starts slow. Although there is more action as the story progresses, there is a fair amount of introspection and character introduction in the first 30 chapters. Jayce is the main character, however, other characters play a large role and the story is seen through multiple POV's. This is a draft, it is not a finished work. This is not a story that focuses on an OP MC who beats up on weaklings. At times there can be a fair amount of internal monologue. Some of that may be edited out when I rewrite the story. I decided to keep it in the draft because I think it is better to have too much material rather than too little when I edit.
