"well i have to be, or else they'll take you away from me" minho pulls the girl into a hug

"as i was saying, me and that jerk were friends, and when shuhua joi ed our school, we also became good friends. of course, shuhua was our new friend, i wanted to know more about her and jaehoon was not liking it. he became so aggressive at shuhua for 'stealing me awat from him' that he ruined her mentally, calling her a slut and shit. we were in middle school, that kid was a very bad influence for us. anyway, it was kind off well before he started to hurt her in my absence." haneul sighs and closes her eyes at the memory.

when she found shuhua covered with wounds inside the girl's restroom. her heart broke at once.

"shuhua! was it jaehoon?" haneul dashed towards her friend who was trying to hold back her tears as she cleaned her wounds

minho pulls haneul in his embrace and caresses her hair as she cries onto minho's chest

"it's okay, you can cry.. it must be hard for you, right?" he felt a light nod.

"you're so brave, haneul. you've been through a lot. don't think that nobody knows how hard it is on you, because i do. and look at you, after all these hardships, you've still held on, you're so strong, baby. don't worry about the bad times, and extract a positive impact from them, hm? like because of jaehoon, you and shuhua became so close."

minho pulls her head away to wipe away haneul's tears
