the couple cautiously get out of the closet and walk to nowhere in particular
"i am busy, though" haneul stops infront of her locker while minho leans back into the locker next to her's
"with what?"
haneul holds up her notes and says, "i missed two weeks of school, i have a lot of catching up to do in the library"
"I'll help" minho shrugs and the couple walk towards the library, a few students who they assumed also had a free period, were present except for the librarian
"hanniieee~" minho pokes her cheek again
"I'm studying, minho."
"i didn't think you'd actually do it" he pouts
"oh minho hyung, haneul noona" jeongin approaches the two
"you were cool today hyung"
"that's me for you" minho smirks
"well, could any of you help me out with maths?" jeongin looks at the couple with hope
haneul points at minho, "ask him, he's free"
so the rest of the period passed by with haneul taking notes and minho and jeongin struggling to multiply matrices
"you guys, I'm gonna get going now. i have class" haneul gets up, checking the time
"this hyung was no help" jeongin pouts and minho sighs
"well, maths is difficult"
haneul enters the noisy classroom and spots soobin at the very back, making her way to him
"how was... minho hyung?" soobin whispers the last part
"he was flirting, again! in a situation like that!"
soobin snorts and pulls out his phone to do whatever
"yah, hwang haneul"
"hwang hyunjin" haneul turns to her twin on her left next to jisung
"did you know?"
"about?"
"minho hyung's girlfriend?"
haneul mentally face palms
"uh, if you guys didn't know, how would i have a clue"
"let's place bets!" jisung suggests
"i bet she's from another school"
hyunjin thinks for a while and says "i bet she's in the dance club"
'both of yall are wrong'
"i bet she's closer to us than we think she is" haneul places her bet as well
"$50 each?"
"yes, $50 it is!"

*This is a learning experience for me so please keep in mind that I am attempting to work on some of the issues brought to my attention early on. However I haven't yet gone back to redo the early chapters.* Less than two days ago every piece of electronics in the world stopped working for more than two hours. The death toll was immense.
