《The Chapstick Girl》Epilogue

Amber's pov:
Here, in my very own home, I could only just stare in horror at the view in front of me.
It was pretty brutal, and I would be lying if I said that I wasn't quite scared from my spot on the other side of the room.
And as if nothing was happening, Damien kisses the side of my head while throwing an arm around my shoulder.
Is he not seeing the same thing that I'm seeing?
"Shouldn't we do something?" My voice trails off as I look up at Damien, who was trying to hide back a grin.
"Don't worry, stuff like this happens all the time." He shrugs his shoulders, taking a sip of his water while looking ahead at the scene before us.
"Are you sure?" I ask, flinching as a wooden spoon gets thrown across my house and into the hallway leading out of the kitchen.
To be more specific, my dad's wooden spoon.
He's not going to be too happy about that.
Damien stares down at the spoon, and I can sense that he is debating with himself with whether or not he should step in.
...
Or maybe he was just wondering how the spoon isn't broken by now.
"How many times do I have to tell you, IT WASN'T READY YET you greedy, little-..." A surprisingly calm Ashton covers Julie's mouth with his hand before she could finish her sentence.
What a pity.
"Oh c'mon, she was just getting to the good part of her scolding!" Zander whines, earning an eye roll from Ashton.
"Yeah seriously, it's not like she's going to swear anyways," Gianna nudges Ashton, "let her offend my boyfriend!"
"Gianna! You are supposed to be on my side." Jake stomps his foot, causing the rest of us to chuckle from his childish actions.
"Well maybe if your crusty-ass hands didn't get into the cookie dough then maybe I would be a bit kinder." She says, crossing her arms over her chest.
"But babe... it's cookie dough! You can't just leave it out on the counter and expect me not to eat it!" He argues, throwing his arms up in defense.
From the other side of the kitchen, Julie pulls Ashton's hand from her mouth, "It wasn't just sitting out!!! I was rolling them into balls to make the cookies!!"
"How was I supposed to know-..." Jake wasn't even able to finish his sentence as the sight of Julie whipping out my Dad's spatula scares him into silence.
"Dang Ashy, you got yourself a feisty one." Zander laughs, watching as Ashton tries to take the spatula from Julie, just like how he did with the wooden spoon.
"You're telling me." Ashton says, trapping Julie between his arms in attempt to grab the spatula, but it was no use because she puts the spatula underneath her shirt.
"Hah, you can't get it now!"
"You say that as if we haven't-..."
"Children you two! We have children!!" Luke says, pointing at Damien and I as if we were actual children.
As if he wasn't one year older than us.
As if Damien and I haven't done anything already.
"Oh trust me, they aren't so-..." My glare stops Liam from continuing his sentence, knowing that if he continues, Julie won't be the only one using kitchen utensils as weapons tonight.

That's what you get.
"Why are all the woman here so brutal?" Luke sighs dramatically, earning himself glares from myself, Julie, Gianna, Ella, and Ally.
"Not the smartest choice of words, my friend." Zander says, patting his shoulder.
"We wouldn't be so brutal if we didn't have to put up with you guys every single day!" Ella states, earning exasperated sighs from all the guys.
"What do you mean? I'm practically an angel." Jake argues.
Wrong move Jake...
Wrong move.
"Oh really, want to argue that?" Julie starts to pull out the spatula again, and I couldn't help but laugh at the instant look of fear in Jake's eyes.
"Actually, I'm good."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I just can't believe you're leaving us." Ella whines, tugging on her sisters arm as us girls sat in the living room while the boys caught up in the kitchen.
"It's not that far." Ally says, scratching the back of her neck, well-knowing that it is quite the distance.
"You are moving across the freakin country!!" Ella states, leaning her head on Ally's shoulder while pouting.
"I know, but it won't be for a while. We still have yet to finish senior year." Ally tries to reason with her sister, but the frown on Ella's face doesn't change.
"Yeah, but still."
It was weird to think that there will be a time next year when it will only be Liam, Damien, and I in high school. It will only be us three sitting at a lunch table, going to classes, and meeting up after school.
Everyone else will be in college.
I've gotten so use to being part of a big group that now the thought of going back to a small one feels foreign.
Even though that is pretty much how its always been for Liam and I before this year, we've really enjoyed being surrounded by a bigger group and being able to talk to more than just each other.
But I'm happy for them.
Julie, Ella, and Luke are going to colleges that are pretty close to here, so it makes me feel better that I will still get to see them often.
Gianna is going to be a bit farther since she will be going to college with Jake.
And Ally is going to a college that is all the way in New Jersey, which is a pretty long distance from California.
But I understand though. She explained that she's been sheltered all her life, and never got the chance to travel or go somewhere new. So I really believe that an experience like that would definitely be a great one for her.
Ally only announced the news a couple days ago at lunch, but it's been hard for Ella to come to terms with the fact that her own sister, her twin will be so far from her.
I know deep down that Ella is happy for her, but I also get why it's hard.
Although I don't have any siblings and can't exactly relate to Ella's feelings, I know it would be hard for me if Liam moved across the country because we've basically grown up together.
"We should plan something fun this summer, before we all head off to college... well, most of us." Gianna shoots me a pitiful grin.
"I still can't believe you guys are leaving me here with," I point towards the kitchen, hinting towards Liam and Damien, "them."
They laugh.
"Well I'll be close, so if they drive you crazy, which they probably will, I'm only a call away." Julie says, putting a hand on my shoulder.
"I know you will," I giggle, bumping my shoulder against hers, "And I'm sure Ashton is super excited about you guys being at the same college next year."
She laughs, "Oh he definitely is excited, it's all he ever talks about now. We should do this, we should do that, I think my sanity will be gone before Christmas Break."
"Oh same girl, except for me I think I'll be losing mine by Halloween." Ella says, crossing her arms over her chest as the boys loud voices carry into the living room.
"I say we just say screw it and go to a different college together, no boyfriends allowed." Gianna suggests, causing laughter from all of us.
"I seriously might take you up on that offer, imagine how much fun we could have without the baggage." Ella says, pointing in the boys direction.
But little did we know...
"You did not just refer to me as baggage." We flinch as Luke walks in, followed by the rest of the guys.
"Who, me?" Ella laughs nervously while avoiding eye contact with her boyfriend.
"Yes you, and guess what?"
"Hmmm?"
"No separate colleges are going to keep this baggage away from you." He says, before tackling her on the couch.
"Why are you guys back here already, I thought you were having boy talk?" Julie asks, squinting her eyes at Ashton who tries to cuddle up with her on the couch.
"Liam told us that Amber has Just Dance, so if you don't mind..." Zander looks at me, and I nod my head.
"I don't mind, the controllers should be in the cabinet." I show them where our Wii controllers are, and from there, they set up the game.
I take a seat back on the couch just in time to hear Julie sighing from her spot on the couch.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"Let's just say, they get pretty competitive when it comes to Just Dance." She says, grabbing the popcorn bowl from beside her and putting it on her lap.
"It can't be that bad." I say, stealing some of her popcorn.
There is a pause for a second before Julie mutters a "You'll see" underneath her breath.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Julie was right.
"NO!!!! How am I losing!!" Jake screams at the tv, whipping around his Wii controller as Nicki Minaj's Starships blasts throughout the house.
"I don't know whether to be embarrassed by the fact that he's my boyfriend or that I'm his girlfriend." Gianna says, putting her hand on her forehead.
"Both." Julie and I say at the same time, before laughing.
Right now, Jake, Zander, Luke, and Damien were currently facing off, with Zander being in the lead by a long shot.
And by a long shot, I mean to say that Zander is on his fourth star, Damien and Luke are on their second, and Jake...
Has yet to get his first.
"Babe, you do know that you actually have to follow the dance off the screen, right?" Gianna says, earning herself a glare from her boyfriend.
Just as Zander earns his fifth star, the game ends.
"What the Fu-... Frick!!" Jake shouts as Zander does a little happy dance from his win.
"The easiest win yet, even Ashton is more coordinated than you b*tches." Zander says, looking at an unamused Ashton.
"Was that supposed to be a compliment?" He mutters, while leaning his back into Julie's chest.
"I demand another round!" Jake says, taking the number one controller out of Zander's hand and scrolling through the songs.
"Jake, you've been playing for almost an hour now, I think it's been proven that you aren't the best dancer." Liam says, earning a chuckle from everyone around the room.
"Well I think-..." But before Jake could finish, the door opens, and my Dad walks in the room. Everyone greets him with a "hey coach," as I greet him as Dad.
"When I told you boys to get some rest this weekend, this isn't exactly what I meant." My Dad cracks a smile as Luke, Liam, and Damien laugh nervously while hiding their Wii controllers behind their backs.
"Yeah coach, I tried to tell them-..." Jake gets tackled to the ground by Luke and Liam as the room fills with laughter.
The next couple minutes go by as a blur as Damien takes a seat next to me on the couch whereas the other boys spark up conversation with my Dad about boxing.
As much as I wanted to, I didn't have the chance to tell my Dad that Damien and I were dating.
...
Actually, that's a lie.
I did have many chances to tell my Dad, I just chickened out...
Every.
Single.
Time.
"How did I do?" I look up at Damien with confusion, not understanding what he was asking.
He laughs, "My dancing, did I do good?"
I giggle, "Do you really want me to answer that?"
He thinks for a second, "Yes."
"Then to be honest, your dancing was a bit... dry." I tease.
"Dry?" He asks, pretending to be offended.
I nod while trying to hold back a grin, "Yeah, I think your dancing could use some work."
"Wow, that's a bit harsh."
"Hey, you asked for the truth, didn't you?" I ask, as a cute pout makes its way onto his lips.
"I guess I will accept your constructive criticism." He says, pushing his knee against mine.
To stop myself from blushing, like I always do, I turn my head back towards the conversation with the boys and my dad.
And I wish I didn't.
"So coach, how did you react to the big news?" Jake asks my Dad, who looks at him with a puzzled expression.
"What big news?" My dad asks, as the rest of us look at Jake with confusion too.
What is he talking about?
"You know," Jake points at Damien and I as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, "that Damien and Amber are dating?"
...
"JAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

8 109The Uncommon Villainess
I was being reincarnated into a world that I didn't know and on top of that I'm a villainess in that world. And I'm not your normal villainess because I don't fall into the normal villainess category. I'm not beautiful and slim as cliche villainess. I'm opposite of it. But who cares? I'm going to live my own way anyway. Notes : English is not my first language so pardon my grammatical errors. I appreciate every comment for my improvement in writing. And I'm grateful if you vote and add this story in your library. Thank you.
8 186Rich People Problems
As much as Kimberly Astor hated to admit it, she had a slight problem. Okay, so it was theoretically a major problem, but it wasn't entirely her fault. Okay, so it was her fault, (at least to a certain extent, according to her) but her dad didn't need to be all rude about it. He especially did not need to threaten her future role as CEO on it too.And, setting up an arranged marriage to fix said 'problem' is so out of proportion. Okay, it wasn't completely out of proportion, but still.Jace Kingston didn't know what he was getting into when he agreed to be married to a 'problematic heiress'. He certainly was not expecting a sexy vixen, who was hellbent on getting on his nerves and destroying the semblance of normalcy he established in his complex life.So, when the two come together to form a business alliance, they make a simple plan. 1. Fix the problem.2. Don't ever bring up personal things.3.
