Amber's pov:

"It wasn't my fault!" Damien whines on the phone, as the person on the other hand continues to speak in a rushed tone.

"She's fine, it was only for a mere second. The only reason she didn't answer your call was because she is currently talking to-..." He is interrupted by the loud sound of moving around on the other end.

"No, you don't have to-... are you already in your car?"

I sit next to Damien on the pavement as he continues to run his fingers through his hair, trying to calm down the frantic person he was speaking with.

Kicking a pebble, I sigh.

To put it in the nicest way...

This is definitely Damien's fault.

Not only did Julie faint, but we were kicked out of the restaurant, shouted at by an angry mother, and glared to death by a half-burnt handed waiter.

Damien groans in frustration as he ends the call, "Ashton's on his way now."

"Already?" I ask, surprised because the phone call only lasted about three minutes.

He nods his head before laying the side of his face on his knees, "I guess I should enjoy my last day of life."

I raise an eyebrow, "I think you're being a little bit dramatic."

He gives me a small glare, "You may say that now, but you never met the overly protective side of him."

"How protective?"

"As protective as a mother hen."

"Scary."

"I know."

"But I still think you will be okay, you told him she was alright, right?" I look up towards Julie who seemed to be arguing with the manager while Ella and Ally tried to hold back a ticked off Gianna.

"See?" I say, but my voice falters as I take in the scene before me.

Well...

"I mean... if you look from a distance they all seem to be doing... great."

...

"Should we do something?"

"Probably."

"Are we?"

Damien thinks for a second, "no."

Damien and I sit back and watch as Julie crosses her arms before walking away from the manager with a frown. Catching her attention, I wave my hand at her to come over to us.

"So we may or may not be banned." Julie says, sitting with her legs crossed in front of us.

"Nothing new." Damien jokes, earning a flick in the forehead from her.

"You and the rest of the boys clearly have a problem. This is the eleventh place we are banned from."

Damien holds his hands up, "In my defense, most of those times were not me."

"Oh so you, Mr. Goody two shoes, didn't participate in that food fight at Olive Garden?"

Food fight?

I could only imagine.

...

Poor Julie.

"So maybe I did, but it was YOUR boyfriend who started it. I may have gotten us banned from here, but Ashton was the reason behind at least eight of the eleven places we got banned from."

Julie sighs, "Trust me, I know. He may be my boyfriend, but I take no responsibility for that crazy bastard..."

"He's not... that bad." Damien stumbles, causing a small giggle to escape from my mouth.

"You are just saying that because you basically grew up with him, I on the other hand, got thrown into it." Julie groans.

We laugh.

"I wouldn't say you were 'thrown' into it, I'm pretty sure that was a choice."

"A choice that almost got me expelled."

"Oh cmon, all I remember is you two being all lovey dovey at the start of your relationship. All us boys had to watch it." He points at Julie accusingly.

She shakes her head, "Damien, my sweet, sweet child... let me summarize my first month of dating Ashton for you..."

Damien raises an eyebrow as Julie takes a deep breath, "I got sent to detention twice, the principal's office three times, and the counselors six because they thought I wasn't mentally okay. The reasons for that? Ashton fought any guy who looked at me, kidnapped-..."

"borrowed..."—Damien

"-... KIDNAPPED me from my classes to go out with him, and made me late for school almost every other day. The guy is crazy."

"Minor details." Damien jokes, but scoots away when Julie gives me a look.

"Amber, you agree with me, right?" She questions.

"I mean, when you put it that way..." I say, before getting nudged in the shoulder by Damien.

"You are supposed to be on my side!!" Damien whines at me, to which I playfully roll my eyes.

"But I don't agree with you."

"It doesn't matter."

"Why?"

"Because we are dating~..." he leans in to try and kiss my cheek, but I lean away from him.

"Not happening." I cross my arms over my chest while trying to hold back a laugh as gives me a look.

"What, why!!"

"Because I'm still mad at you."

"It wasn't my fault we got banned!" He argues.

"I'm pretty sure it was."

"Okay fine, it was partially my fault."

"Most."

"Basically all." Julie interrupts, earning a glare from Damien.

"Now hold on a second," Damien points at Julie accusingly, "you are the one who fainted."

"You could have shared the news a little bit better."

"You could have stopped talking for me to do that."

"You could have calmly told everyone to quiet down."

"You could have been quiet in the first place."

"You could have... you are so annoying." Julie sighs, frowning at Damien's smirk.

"Haha, I win."

"Yeah, yeah." Julie looks down at her lap before snapping her head back at Damien, "what did he say anyways?"

"Who?"

"Ashton." Julie winces, pretty much predicting the response that she would get.

Damien makes an expression that Julie doesn't fail to miss, "He's on his way, isn't he?"

"From his worried tone, he may be here by five, but that is if he doesn't get pulled over for speeding."

"Gosh this guy." Julie groans, pulling out her phone to call him, but she is simply directed to his voice mail.

I raise an eyebrow as I look up at her, "I'm surprised he didn't answer."

"I'm not, he knows me well enough to know that I will tell him to go back to school. But can you blame me? At this rate with all the classes he's ditched, I'm surprised he hasn't been kicked out yet."

Damien and I nod our heads in understanding before turning towards Ella, Ally, and Gianna who take a seat beside us.

"You should have at least given me the chance to say something to him." Gianna mumbles, watching the manager walk back into the restaurant.

"And how did that turn out the last time?" Ally questions.

"It went great! That cop was a nice fellow."

"He put you in handcuffs."

"Kinky, I liked it."

"Gianna!" Everyone groans, whereas Gianna just simply grins while twirling a strand of her hair.

"What? Y'all need to be more adventurous."

"By nearly getting sent to jail? No thank you." Julie says, shaking her head.

"Why not? It happens to Ashton almost every other week."

She groans, "Again trust me, I know."

For the next couple seconds, we sit in silence as we continue to wait for Luke and Liam to make their way back.

"Why did we send two boys to get us food and expect a good result?" Gianna groans, holding her stomach as she whines towards Ella.

"Why are you whining at me?"

"Because he's your boyfriend, teach your man to be better."

"I can't control how long it takes the workers to make the food."

"Sure you can, all you have to do is stare at them and pressure them to work faster, it always works."

"I can only imagine what it's like being Jake on a date with you."

Gianna let's out a full hearted belly laugh before turning towards Ella, "You think I'm bad? My food obsessed, inpatient, bratty boyfriend is a whole new level of crazy. He's the one who taught me everything that I need to know about the quickest way to get food."

"I have a new founded fear for your future children."

"More like OF their children. I just know they are going to bully me." Luke's voice makes its appearance as both him and Liam come towards us with bags of takeout.

"Hey, I'm not that mean. I won't tell them to bully you."

"Really?" Luke asks hesitantly.

She nods her head, "of course, I just won't stop them if they do."

He rolls his eyes at her before handing everyone their boxes of food.

We thank him and Liam before digging in.

"So," Luke's says between bites, "when did you guys officially start dating anyways?"

The sudden question surprises me, causing me to choke on my food.

Everyone else laughs at my reaction as Damien pats my back.

"Sorry," I say after my coughing fit, "I wasn't expecting that."

"I can see that." Luke laughs.

"Oh shush," I give him a quick glare, "and to answer your question, not very long."

Julie chuckles before bumping my shoulder against hers, "Oh come on, give us the juicy details..."

I blush as I look down at my lap, "There isn't too much to say, he confessed, I said yes, then we... uh... Uhm... h-hugged... yeah hugged!"

"Awwwww!" Everyone says, causing me to hide my pink cheeks behind my hands.

"How did he confess? Did he stutter? Was he shy?" Ella squeals, pinching Damien's cheek, to which he swats.

"I did not!"

"Amber is this true?"

"To be honest, I was more of the shy one."

"That was expected." Liam teases, lightly kicking my foot.

"Wait, but that means you guys still haven't had your first kiss, right?" Gianna asks.

Damien and I find ourselves staying silent after hearing Gianna's question.

And being the annoying brat he is, Liam clears his throat loudly while trying to hide his laugh.

Of course he knows we kissed, Damien only KISSED me right in front of him.

Once again...

Damien's fault.

"Well..." I look towards Damien who only smirks at my nervous gaze.

It wasn't that I was nervous about telling them that we kissed...

I am just a little bit shy about it, okay?

A kiss may seem like nothing to some people, but for me, it's a big deal.

He was my first kiss...

And I was his.

I feel my cheeks turn a dark shade of pink as I point at Damien accusingly, "Why am I the only one being asked, ask him!"

"Okay," Luke turns towards Damien with a grin, "Did you take my manly advice and kiss her?"

"Manly?" Gianna snickers, turning towards Ella.

Ella shrugs her shoulders, "Don't ask me, I just date him."

Looking back at Damien and Luke, they share an intense gaze before Damien breaks out into a smile, "we did."

Instantly, our friends cheer loudly as Julie and Ella give me side hugs since they were sitting closest to me.

"That's so cute!!!" Ally squeals, causing my cheeks to turn redder, if that was even possible.

"I would ask who kissed who, but I think we all know." Gianna grins, nudging Damien.

"I did, but I can't take all the credit, she kissed me the second time."

"YOU KISSED TWICE??!"—Julie

"Two, three, four-... to be honest I lost count." Damien says, sending me a flirtatious wink.

"That's my boy!!" Luke cries, putting his hand over his heart like a proud parent.

"We need to celebrate!" Gianna claps her hands together, earning a surprised look from me.

"Celebrate?" I ask, concerned for my friends well being.

I mean yeah, he is my first boyfriend and this is a big step for me, but I didn't think it would be celebrate worthy.

"Yeah!" Gianna nods her head excitedly, "After weeks of you guys being way too obvious about liking each other..."

Once again, I blush.

"-...I think it's time to celebrate that it's finally happening!"

"For once in my life, I agree with her." Luke says.

"I mean, if you guys really want to we can-..."

"LET'S DO IT!!!" Damien interrupts me, meeting Luke half way for a high five.

"It sounds like a plan, I will call up the boys to ask them if they can come over next weekend." Julie says.

"Do you think we should tell them now or wait till then?" Gianna asks.

Julie thinks for a second before smirking, "I say we tell the boys later, they won't know."

"We won't know what?" A voice says, coming up behind Julie with a smirk on his face.

Busted.

Julie chuckles nervously...

...

"Whattttttttt. Who said that?"
