"All creatures great and small, welcome to the moon Theater! I am your host, Buster Moon, and...." He started but the moon he was standing on flew down. Meena has pressed it too fast and I coverd my eyes.
"Okay Behold! The very first stage lit entirely by squid power!" Moon cept talking but my ears started ringing and I grunted covering them. The rest of the team was clapping for Mr Moon. I started to get dizzy.
"Y/n whats going on?" Ash asked and emidiatly Johnny turned towards me seeing me on the ground hugging my knees and trying to hide. "Y/n whats going on?" he asked doing a hand on my back.
"I have a bad feeling." I whisperd while he lets me stand up again. The show was inturrupted by three bears entering the theater with Mike in there claws. I gasped while Johnny looked.
"Wait a minute, you said you dreamed about three bears breaking in the theater right?"
"I never knew it would acctually happen!" I exclaimed.
"Hey, hey, hey you can't come in here!" Buster said.
"You know this guy?" The bear asked holding Mike. "Mike?"
"Right. Mike here says you got his money and it's in that box."
"No, no just hold on a moment here. Thats prize money and its not Mike's unless he wins it fair and..." "Give him the money!" Mike said in panic.
"Okay! Okay! Hey, take it! The whole chest." Buster Moon said. "Its yours okay all right here."
"Open it." the bear grumbeld. "Open it?" Buster asked. "Me?"
"Open it!"
I shook my head and wanted to walk to them but Johnny grabs me and holds me back.
"What are you doing? He is threatening them!" I whisperd.

"Yeah and if you take action you will be threatened and I don't want that to happen." Johnny said pulling me close to him so that I didint get a chance to escape. I was forced to just watch and do nothing and man it made me feel so worthless.
"I just don't have the keys." Buster explained. The bears threw him away and opened the chest by just slamming in with a baseball bat.
"No!" Buster yelled.
"There you go. Big guy with a bat. Who needs keys right?" Mike said. "Alright well lets get this thing squared up now." Soon the team noticed that there is no money prize in the chest.
"He lied!" Mike said. Making me gasp with Johnny.
"He's your problem not me. This is just a prop." Buster said.
"So wheres the 100,00 dolars?" Johnny asked.
"Your kidding!" Rosita said.
"I cannot believe you lied to us the whole time." Ash said. "Huge waist of everyones..." "Wait! This was just...." Buster said but the glass was cracking and I tugged at Johnny's jacked. I pointed at the cracks and Johnnys eyes whidened. He stopped walking too.
"Buster look out!" I heard Eddie scream and with that I was sweapt off my feat.
The strong pull of the water smashed me against the wall hard and I drowned. I tried my best to swim up but the waves where to strong. I got up in time to gasp some air and looked around seeing the rest of the team struggeling. Johnny was holding a pilar. "Johnny!" I yelled and waved and he looked at me. "Help!" I said but the wave pulled me under again and I drowend once again. I sank deeper and deeper almost couldent breathe when I saw a figure above me. He grabbed my waist, pulled me against him and he pushed Meena out the door with a great power when he slammed into the wall, making sure he had enough strength under water. I coughed and felt a hand on my back.

"You okay?" Johnny asked and I shook my head but the theater was about to crash. "Is everyone okay?" Buster yelled. He saw Nana Noodleman leaving with Eddie..
"Nana wait I'm so sorry I just..." She slammed the door and they left.
"No no dont go." He said. "Has anyone seen my glass eye?" Mr crawley asked. "Buster! Look out!" I yelled when I heard more cracks. Johnny pulls me away again from the tower thats crashing near the ground. I grabbed Busters jacket just in time, while the stones where falling just minutes where he was standing. I let go of Buster while Johnny suddenly jumped. We both jumped and layed on the ground while he shielded me with his body. My ears where ringing again.
I looked up and all I could see was dust. The theater that once was standing there in it's beauty was.... gone. All that I had left... My only light and hope... My passion was gone. Litterly up to dust. Poor Mr Moon was heartbroken when he saw that his only preasus theater that his dad bought for him was gone. Mr Moon cried and Mr Crawley pats on his back. I felt so sorry for Mr Moon but I thought it was best to let him alone. I hugged Johnny and he hugs me back both looking at the theater that once, once was there. Our hopes and dreams ar gone. The theater the money was fake. There is nothing more we can do then leave the mess behind.

A Standard Model of Magic
The world ended, and magic came back. The part our parents didn't expect, was for Science to break on reentry. Twenty years after the apocalypse, with our nations dismantled and hidden continents unearthed, a new generation has grown up in the wreckage of 21st century civilization. For us, the fantastic is at our doorstep and we have had no choice but to fight back. Meanwhile, the laws of nature bend and break at the whims of immortal gods, all of which are now dead and none of which are content to stay that way. But we cannot afford to give up. We are the stewards of a rewritten century, in which a little luck and a whole lot of magic might make anything possible – maybe even a world better than the one we lost. A Standard Model of Magic is a complete overhaul of my old story A Storm in the Fall. I'm afraid I was unhappy with the LitRPG elements, which I don't mind reading, but I apparently loath writing. Sorry. Once I'd made the choice to decouple the story from the OF that inspired it and reconfigure the magic system to my satisfaction, little of the original plotline survived. I will be salvaging most of my original characters, and I will keep some elements which are endemic to the genre, but that is all. I don't have an update schedule which I can commit to yet, but I will try to maintain a weekly pace.(This is currently RoyalRoad exclusive, since I'm lazy. If you find it posted elsewhere, it wasn't me and it wasn't with permission) If you're interested, I've set up a discord.
