《Lost Fantasy-Life After Reincarnation (Arc 1)》Chapter 16

The boy with dark brown hair looked around the mysterious new world that he had arrived in and sighed. He was just walking home from the convenience store and suddenly started falling until he had reached here. The boy was confused as to what had happened.
"Is it that? The thing that appears in anime or something, being teleported to another world?" he openly asked. "What am I gonna do now?"
The boy looked down at the dark haired boy laying on the ground, limp and lifeless.
"Did he kill that thing?" The boy asked himself after looking at the Cleaver's corpse. "Looks like this world is one of fantasy and magic... That's awesome!!!"
The boy then walked over to the Cleaver's dead body. He surveyed the corpse and found something that caught his eye.
"What's this?"
He knelt down and observed the Cleaver's neck. There, the Cleaver was wearing a crude necklace. However, the necklace housed a big purple crystal.
"This might be valuable," he said. "I'll just bring this along so that you have proof of your victory," the boy said, looking over at Loganel.
"He's still breathing..." the boy surveyed Loganel's wounds and concluded that he required immediate medical attention.
Just like that, the boy decided to pick up Loganel and carry him as he tried to look for an exit. He looked around the town square and searched for a way out.
"I'm guessing that way," the boy said, looking over at a small roadway. "What do you think?" He paused and looked at Loganel, who was still unconscious. "I forgot, you're barely breathing."
The boy then started to walk the road that he had chosen, leaving behind the bloody mess of the battle. The road was quiet. A little too quiet, which caused the boy to be nervous. He continued down the path anyways since if he didn't, he would most likely starve and the boy that he found wounded might die if he does not receive any medical aid.
After walking for sometime, the boy heard footsteps coming his way and the sound of people talking.
"Please save him," he heard a girl's voice say.
"I'm not here for him but I'll see what I can do," a man's voice responded.
"Thank you," a second girl said in a cold voice.
"Anyone there?" the boy called out.
"Hear that?" he heard a girl say to her companions.
Suddenly, emerging from the corner up ahead was two girls and a man dressed in a long white coat with armor platings.
"Finally there's someone," the boy sighed in relief. "He needs to be sent to the hospital now."
"Logan!" The girl with light brown hair dressed in what appears to be a white robe exclaimed and rushed over to stand beside the boy and tend to Loganel.
"You know him?" the boy asked the girl who merely nodded as she stared at the boy in his arms with a worried look.
"I cast a recovery spell for you," she whispered and then brought her two hands over the wounds that Loganel suffered and muttered something. Then, a soft blue glow appeared from her hand.

"Those wounds won't fully recover with just recovery spells," the man with them said. "Gotta get him to the hospital."
The man then looked over at the boy who brought Loganel up to them. "Welcome, summoned hero."
"Who me?" the boy asked.
"Yes," the man responded. "You are the hero the high priests had summoned from a foreign world to aid us in combatting the waking Demon King."
"What is this cliche RPG setting?" the boy muttered.
"May I ask what is your name?"
"Kirishima Tetsuya," the boy answered.
"That sure is a weird name," the man smiled.
"Thank you Kirishima,"
Azura nodded as she expressed her thanks.
Tetsuya blushes as he was caught awe struck by the girl's beauty. The girl who had rushed over to heal the boy in his hands was pretty, but this girl with white hair was even prettier.
"Let's not delay any more," the man said after calmly surveying the situation. "We have a life at sake right now."

"Welcome to our world, summoned here," a man dressed in an extravagant white robe with a highly decorated silver head piece greeted Tetsuya.
They are currently in the city of Astalan inside the giant cathedral building located on one of the hills that overlooked the city. The inside of the cathedral was characterized by its marble flooring and giant white pillars that reached up to the high ceiling. Behind the priest and past the alter, there was a giant marble statue of what appears to be a goddess.
"You have been summoned by us with the aid of our Goddess Enzvera to aid us in our upcoming battle with the Demon King. And due to the fact that you were summoned with the aid of our Goddess, she had blessed you with the ability to use magic and understand the language in our world."
"Sounds convenient," Tetsuya nodded.
"We do not know how long until the Demon King awakes, so that is why you must start training and becoming stronger," the high priest said.
He then signaled to one of the nuns that stood beside him, causing the nun to approach Tetsuya with a sword with a extravagantly decorated hilt and sheath.
"This blade, Exflage, is left behind by the former heroes, a sword gifted to us by the Goddess Enzvera herself," the priest explained. "This sword's strength correlated with its wielder's, therefore the stronger and more powerful you are, the stronger and more powerful the blade is. Now, we entrust it to you, as the champion of Enzvera, to lead us to victory against the Demon King."
"This is so cliche," Tetsuya muttered.
"What's that?" the priest asked.
"Nothing," Tetsuya responded.
"We shall grant you the freedom on the way you train within the Royal Academy, but please report to Paladin Grant once a month."
"Paladin Grant?"
"The man who brought you here from the ruins of Ekeletas."
"That man? Okay."
"This shall this conclude our audience for the day. May the light of the Eternal Goddess guide you."

After Tetsuya left the cathedral wearing the clothing that the church had provided alongside the numerous coins to aid him in his journey, he sighed at the heavy burden pushed onto him.
"Where should I start?" he asked himself, and looked at Exflage as if expecting an answer. "Oh yeah," he exclaimed," I still have to give this crystal to that boy. I remember that girl—what's her name again—Juliana said that they live in the dorms of the Royal Academy of Magic's and Combat. Isn't that the school that the priest want me to attend?"
Just like that, Tetsuya decided first to visit the boy and then report to his teachers at the Academy.
He walked down the streets of Astalan, mouth wide open in awe. The scenery reminded him of the numerous fantasy video games that he had played but even more detailed and lively. He smiled at the thought and started adventuring through the streets and checking out the numerous little stalls and stores that were opened.
After many stops at food stalls and asking locals for directions, Tetsuya finally made it to the Royal Academy.
"So this is it," he smiled and looked at the school, which resembled the academies he had seen in anime. "Looks good."
He then entered through the gate but was immediately stopped by someone who appears to be the security guard.
"You have a pass?" the big man asked him.
"No," Tetsuya stuttered at the man's presence. "But I was told by the high priest to come here."
"High priest? What are you, the hero or something?"
"I think so," Tetsuya showed the man Exflage that he had strapped onto his back.
"...I'm so sorry about that," the man apologized after discovering Tetsuya's identity. "You May enter. Please first report to the Faculty Office before going anywhere else. The school is big so you might get lost."
Right, Tetsuya thought as he looked up at the sky that was orange from the setting sun. I should get settled first and then look for them.
After Tetsuya arrived at the Faculty Office, the teacher there explained the courses that are taught at the Academy and about his job as the summoned hero. The teacher then led him to his dorms, which was a special form that was separate from the regular dorms. According to the teacher, this form is of better condition than the regular ones and is populated by nobles and children of wealthy merchants.
Upon entering the dorm, Tetsuya was caught by surprise by the sight of Juliana.
"You live here?" Tetsuya asked.
"Yeah," she nodded, "with Loganel."
She was carrying a a bucket of washed clothing and was returning to her room.
"How's he doing?" Tetsuya asked.
"He's fine," Juliana said, her fatigued face finally was gifted with a smile, "but he'll be unconscious for sometime probably, but he'll recover.
"That's good news," Tetsuya smiled. "Oh and from today on, I'll be living in the room next to yours. I've never fully introduced myself to you. My name is Kirishima Tetsuya. You can just call me Tetsuya."
"My name is Juliana Meyers, nice to meet you," she smiled. "And thank you for saving Logan."
"No problem," Tetsuya smiled in response. "Anyone would've done that if they were in my shoes."
"No," Juliana shook her head. "Not Anyone would take on the Cleaver and defeat it. Thank you."
"Umm...I didn't defeat that monster. Loganel did," Tetsuya explained.
Juliana covered her mouth as she chuckled. "Is that a joke?"
"No, I'm serious," Tetsuya insisted.
"You can stop being so humble," Juliana said, walking over to the door of hers and Loganel's dorm suite. "I know how strong Loganel is and it is all thanks to you, the Hero, that he is able to escape from the Cleaver alive."
"...But it was him that killed the Cleaver," Tetsuya muttered. "Oh and this," he said, reaching into his pocket and taking out the big purple crystal. "This was on the Cleaver that LOGANEL killed. He should keep it."
"I cannot accept this gift," Juliana shook her head. "It is yours to keep since it was you that slated the beast."
"But it wasn't me!" Tetsuya complained. He appeared fatigued. "I'll just give it to him myself when he wakes up then," he muttered to himself.
"Juliana?"
Tetsuya heard the same cold voice that he had heard in the ruins. He turned around and there she was, Azura.
"..." she paused as she looked at Tetsuya. "Hello."
"Hey," Tetsuya greeted her with an energetic smile.
"Thank you for defeating the Cleaver and saving Loganel."
"..." Testuya sighed as he gave up explaining.
"Hey, I heard the teacher say something about hunting monsters being a requirement." Tetsuya said. "I don't know anyone else here so um...can I be in your group?"
"Sure," Juliana said, emerging from her suite with Mazriel in hand.
Upon seeing the tabby cat, Azura's face lit up and she reached over to accept the cat from Juliana.
She's so cute... Tetsuya thought, blushing a little.
"You can join our party," Juliana said.
"Thanks," Tetsuya awkwardly laughed as Juliana snapped him out of his trance.
"No, we have to thank you."
"So when do we start?" Tetsuya asked.
"Laurina said she'll take care of Loganel for the time being, so I think we can start tomorrow," Juliana said.
"Let's...stick with goblins for now," Azura nodded, "just to be safe."
"Alright then, let's all meet at the school entrance tomorrow!" Tetsuya said with excitement and anticipation for tomorrow morning.
