Collage's cafeteria
Ritika-Hah, poor nerd
She laughed and pushed avneet to the floor.
Avu-Leave me plz
She said trying to get up but ashi stopped her.
Jannat-Aww..see, no one is there to help u
The bully girls laughed at avneet. Tears started shedding from avu's eyes as she felt helpless. Ashi took a cup of coffee and poured it into avu. Avu squeezed her eyes and bit her inner cheeks to stop her sob. All the students present in the cafeteria were looking at the drama silently.
No one dared to stop those bullies or help avu.
Professor-What's happening here?
Ritika-Circus show...wanna join?
Ritika said sarcastically. All laughed except avneet who was still on the floor with her head down.
Professor-Enough now..didn't u guys hear the bell ring, go to ur classes
Professor shouted. The bullies rolled their eyes and went from there along with the other students.
Professor-U okay avneet?
Avu slowly nodded getting up and picking up her stuffs. Professor left from there. Avu ran out of the cafeteria to her secret place on the back of collage. She reached there and fell on her knees, crying hard hiding her face in her hands.
Avu-I hate my life, i hate it...i give up
She sobbed loudly.
Sm1-Giving up is not the solution
She heard someone say. She got scared but didn't dared to look up. She felt a soft touch on her hands and slowly sm1 removed her hands from her face. Her eyes were teary yet red, her nose was red, tears stains all over her face.
Sm1-Princesses don't cry
Sm1 passed her a handkerchief which she took it.
Sm1-This place is quite good
Sm1 said chilled. Avu didn't answer but a sob escaped her mouth.

Sm1-I saw them bully u
All went quiet. Silence
Avu-Who r u?
She asked looking at him. His hazel orbs met those chocolate ones which had some secrets and mystery in them.
Sm1-Siddharth...siddharth nigam
He forwarded his hand for a handshake.
Sid-Karlo accept...i won't eat u
Sid laughed at his own lame joke. Avu was just staring at him without any word. She wasn't sure is she could accept but for the very first time, she felt comfortable around someone. She slowly extended her hand and accepted his hand.
Sid-What about u?
Avu-Avneet kaur
She answered slowly, in a low voice.
Sid-Avneet..woww such a wonderful name just like u
A small smiled appeared on avu's face listening him.
Sid-Btw, r u going to the class?
Avu didn't answer.
Sid-Come on beautyqueen, i'll be joining u and why to fear when i am here
He raised his imaginary collar. Avu nodded. Sid stood up and extended his hand for avu to get up. Avu slowly accepted his hand and got up. Sid took her bag from the ground and passed it to her. Avu took it.
Avu-But who r u? I mean..u don't look like the collage students..i've never saw u before and ur uniform..
Sid-Ahh, actually i'm a new one here and the thing is while i was on my way to the collage, a car splashed the mud water on me resulting my clothes to get dirty and i didn't had other way except changing into the other attire
Avu nodded slightly. Both went to the class and joined the lecture.
To be continued...

Luck Lockyer
Luck Lockyer was the type of man to smirk in the dark, the expression not for anyone but himself. One of perpetual amusement. The bright side of things were hard to find in the shade yet his amber eyes were always searching. The smirk was his default, he knew it, his friends knew it, his family knew it. It was his most natural state. But the death of everyone close to you can affect a downwards curve on the mouths of even the most stoic people. Without purpose, without anyone to do the job for, Luck Lockyer found himself inside an empty forgotten church. The perpetual smirk on his face had slipped to a thin line, his scar more noticeable now than ever before. His amber eyes, the windows to his soul, dull and lifeless. To anyone who knew him, it was the clothing that gave away his mental state, denim pants and a plain black t-shirt. If that wasn't enough, the tears running down his face certainly would, the echoing sobs of a broken man rang across the rundown church. It was on a whim, but Luck Lockyer prayed, he prayed for many things, for death, revenge, friends, but the one prayer dominating his thoughts, a second chance for his family. That was all he wanted. Simple. It was then, on the outskirts of a polluted city, in an abondoned lot, in a forgotten church that Luck Lockyer, the Devil of the Cards, the Bloodless Hand, the Amber Demon, the Broken, was answered by a being from another world and one from his. *found the picture online
