Hey everyone! Thanks for making it to the very end of the story. It was a fun journey for me and I had lots of fun writing this. At a lot of points I wanted to discontinue the story because I ABSOLUTELY HATED IT but all of your comments made me so much more encouraged! I'll start this off by saying this. I will continue writing Harry Potter fanfictions and Elegance was a great way for me to see what I need to work on. I promise in the future, I'll come back with a better story! As a celebration for reading the end, I prepared a little special. I'll love you even more if you read the entire thing lol.

1) Evelyn's death ending.

The story was actually moving along to this ending but I actually rewrote one entire chapter in the middle to change it. I'll admit, this was probably the better ending since I had such a great idea for it.

Bellatrix's blade was cursed. Evelyn was never pregnant. Everyone thought she was but it's just the curse from the blade slowly eating her up and eventually killing her. Her last moments were going to be with Harry after Voldemort was dead and she'd die while kissing Harry one last time. If her pregnancy felt all too weird and misplaced, this is why. I was moving more towards her death ending.

2) The Romeo and Juliette ending.

Draco never stops Evelyn from killing herself. Harry only finds out she's dead after Voldemort too is dead.

Year 1- Evelyn meets Harry and Draco. Harry and Draco gets a childhood crush. Draco is an asshole. Evelyn tries to fit into her parents and everyone else's expectations even though she does not like it.

Year 2- Harry's feelings for Evelyn is the same; a childhood crush. Draco's feelings sort of die out. Evelyn's first encounter with Voldemort. Evelyn continues to try and fit into expectations. She has a childhood crush on Harry.

Year 3- Harry's feelings for Evelyn grows into a bigger one. His feelings die out when rejected. Draco is still an asshole. Evelyn realizes she doesn't have to fit into her parents expectations. Evelyn realizes her feelings for Harry.

Year 4 - Harry tries to get over Evelyn with Cho. Draco's feelings for Evelyn come back again and he starts to like her. Evelyn and Draco talk regularly and move on from their stupid 'childhood fights'. Evelyn starts being herself. After seeing Harry go to the Yule Ball, Evelyn develops a small feeling for Draco.

Year 5 - Harry has a big crush on Evelyn, doesn't talk about the kiss because he wants to protect her from Voldemort. Draco's feelings for Evelyn grows even more. Evelyn is much better at expressing her expressions. The small feeling she had for Draco completely dies out.

Year 6 - Harry and Evelyn start dating, Draco doesn't know at first but after fighting out he's jealous af. His hatred for Harry grows but he can't get over Evelyn. Evelyn realizes she loves Harry.

Year 7- Draco just wants Evelyn to be happy and walk away. Harry loves Evelyn.

All of these are what I think would happen.

Cedric didn't die?

Evelyn and Cedric most likely would've dated in their fifth year. Harry never would've kissed Evelyn in the Order of the Phoenix's base since he'd think Evelyn liked Cedric after seeing the two go on a date to Hogsmeade. Cedric and Evelyn definitely would get closer and start dating in their fifth year since Harry would give up on Evelyn and use Cho to get over her. Then eventually he'd get over Evelyn and date Ginny and marry her instead of Evelyn and Evelyn probably would've married Cedric.

Draco and Evelyn got together?

Honestly I shipped them more lol. Their relationship would have a sort of dark vibe in it, like a depressing vibe. They would rely on each other a lot. Draco would love Evelyn and care for her a lot but not show it at all. Her and the golden trio will most likely stop talking. She and Draco would participate in the final battle against the dark lord after convincing Draco to do what is right. After the battle, the two would run away and live in secret away from all the judgement.

Evelyn died?

Harry would've completely lost it and used the killing curse on whoever killed her. Then afterwards, not be able to get over her. He'd spend the rest of his life trying to find a way to get her back (time turner) but fail and get insanely depressed. During the times Ginny would stay by his side and eventually he would marry Ginny after a long long while. Draco would be lost and possibly never move on.

Harry died? (Completely)

Evelyn would kill Voldemort herself and never love anyone ever again or get closer with Draco and eventually falling in love.

Draco died?

Oh he passed away? Aww... mmmphh... anyway. No but really, if he did, Evelyn would be really upset but Harry would he by her side.

Evelyn went to Beauxbatons?

She would probably become a death eater following her mom.

Evelyn got into Ravenclaw?

She'd meet Harry during the DA Army. Since Harry did not know her, he'd be more into Cho and Evelyn wouldn't have any feelings for him either. She'll remain a childhood crush for Harry. Since Draco and Evelyn's relationship didn't work at first because of Hermione being a muggle-born, Evelyn and Draco would become friends because Evelyn wouldn't be as close with Hermione and the two would end up together.

Evelyn got into Slytherin?

Well of course, she'd be really close with Draco. Either her pure-blood supremacy would grow and she'd become a death eater with Draco's parents' suggestion, or just Draco relying on Evelyn and finding comfort in her.

Evelyn was a Hufflepuff?

Don't know what in Evelyn could possible be a Hufflepuff but if she somehow did, she'd get with Cedric. Harry would meet her with Cedric during the tri-wizard cup. When Cedric dies, he would start talking with Evelyn more often and the two would probably eventually end up together.

What if Evelyn ended up with Ron?

That wouldn't happen since Ron is her brother-in-law and since Hermione is her best friend. But if she did, it would be her taking care of Ron and standing up for him.

What if Evelyn ended up with Hermione?

The two would honestly be a power couple becoming activists and fighting misogyny.

What if Evelyn joined Tom Riddle in the Second year?

Harry would probably die in the chamber of secrets or at the most, Voldemort would return as his 16 year old seggsy self. She'd be the next Bellatrix but more sane.

What if Evelyn became a death eater during her fifth year?

She'd fall out of love with Harry after spending so much time with Draco and end up with Draco. I can imagine Voldemort choosing her to kill Dumbledore actually.

What if Evelyn went to the Yule Ball with Cedric?

Honestly, the two would probably date.

-Evelyn actually had a small crush on Draco during her 4th year but it was very short lived.

- I'm coming back to this story almost a year after it was posted. I was just laying in my bed thinking back and came to the conclusion Evelyn was definitely bisexual if not bi-curious

- So some of you noticed Evelyn using one of the three unforgivable curses on Barty Crouch Jr. After the death of Cedric. Technically, she should've been sent to azkaban, but Dumbledore covered it up. Besides, it was self defense / attack against a criminal. Dumble ain't no snitch. I also added that part in for the irony. She wanted to not be like her mother but look what happened.

- The number Evelyn used to call the knight bus, 11142004 is my birthday lol.

- During the fifth year, Evelyn says "I'll die for someone, you'll kill for someone," This reflects Draco killing Dumbledore. When Voldemort found out about Draco's feelings for Evelyn, he threatened Draco using Evelyn.

- The reason Draco started to have feelings for Evelyn was because she called him Draco instead of Malfoy. He felt just like how Evelyn felt, wanting to be himself rather than like his family.

- In the movies Slughorn calls Ron Wallenby but in the books and this story, he calls him Rupert.

- The name 'Evelyn' was inspired by Evelynn from League of Legends, a character who lures her victim with her beauty before torturing them.

- I actually watched A LOT of tiktok pov and got a lot of reference from those too lol

- October 12th is the day Harry and Evelyn started dating and it is also the day he proposed.

- June 29 is the day Harry first told Evelyn he loved him and it is also the day they got married.

The first thing she does when returning, like shown, is visit the ghost of Cedric. Harry proposes to Evelyn in the Forbidden forest after riding thestrals and in their Yule Ball gowns. Harry's Boggart would change to Evelyn being tortured by Bellatrix, Evelyn's would be Harry 'dead' in Hagrid's arms.

After the battle, Evelyn would work at the Ministry of Magic as the Head of The Department of Magical Law Enforcement. She'd first start off my clearing Sirius's name, defending Draco from being sent to azkaban, and abolish dementors.

The wedding was small with the entire front seat empty and a small number of guests. After the marriage the two have three kids as shown. Evelyn soon retires and gets a job as the potions master at Hogwarts and Harry takes the DADA.

Lily would definitely inherit Evelyn's Veela heritage and be extremely pretty. Evelyn does not be strict at all with her daughter and lets her wear whatever, do whatever and say whatever she wants. Her daughter would be more like Ginny.

1. Originally when I first started year 1, Evelyn was supposed to die because I ship Hinny so much lol.

1. I will never forgive myself for not using Evelyn Delacour. The literal only reason I used Evelyn Clermont was because the spelling was easier.

-Since Evelyn is a veela, she would have blonde hair. But I didn't specify it because why not. She'd look sort of magical- Like a fairy. Sort of the same vibes as Aurora from Maleficent.

Am I going to stop writing fan fictions? No. I have quite a lot planned actually. However, I'm going to take time reading more fanfictions and work on my flaws. I really want to try one where I go off of my own storyline and not based on the movie, but I have no idea how that'll work.
