《Elegance | Harry Potter》Wedding

I woke up to the sound of the wooden floors creaking. It was still dark outside and Ginny, Hermione, and Fleur were all still asleep. The footsteps continued making it's way down the hallway and down the staircases. It was too late at night for anyone to be awake just walking around.
I got up quietly tip-toeing out my room. Harry and Ron's room were opened, neither of them were inside. I walked down the stairs to the living room to find the door was left opened. Not too far away, I could see Ron walking up towards Harry who was walking somewhere aimlessly.
"For you? You think Mad-Eye died for you? You think George took that curse for you? You may be the Chosen One, mate, but this is a whole lot bigger than that. It's always been bigger than that," Ron said. Harry only stared at him, not replying for a moment.
"Come with me," Harry said after a long pause.
"And leave without Hermione and Evelyn? Are you mad? We wouldn't last two days without them," Ron replied laughing slightly. Was Harry really planning on leaving everybody and go find all the horcruxes by himself? Leaving me?
"So you're just gonna leave like that?" I said crossing my arms and walking up towards him, "You're only exposing yourself to more danger. These horcruxes, they're bits of his soul, bits of him. If you find the horcruxes and destroy them one by one, he'll feel it. He'll know he's being hunter and you're only doing him a favor traveling alone."
"She's right you know, Tonight's not the night, mate," Ron added on.
"Besides, we still have the wedding," I said.
"Wedding?" Harry said furrowing his eyebrows.
"Bill and Fleur. Mom's been planning it for months. Only thing that's kept her sane, I reckon. She's been accepting Fleur. She'll kill me if I miss it. Kill you too. Rather go face to face with you know who," Ron said laughing slightly.
"I don't care about a bloody wedding. No matter whose it is. I have to start searching for horcruxes. It's the only chance we have to beat him. And the longer we wait the stronger he gets," Harry said frustrated.
"And if you leave... What about me?" I said choking on my words a bit. Harry stared at me not saying anything once again.
"I'll... Just go," Ron said awkwardly before walking back inside the burrow leaving Harry and I alone.
"I can't put you into more danger than I already have," Harry said sighing.
"You're the only thing that's keeping me from just giving up Harry. If you leave, I have to live my life without you wondering if you'll ever be back. Wondering if you're okay, where you are, if you're... Alive."
"I've watched all my loved ones die in front of me. I don't want to even risk you dying because of me."
"How would you know if I'm dead or alive if you're not by my side? When you left with Dumbledore to find a horcrux, I felt like I was dying. I didn't know if you'd make it back. If you leave, I have to feel that same pain over and over again waiting for your return which may even never come."
"I promise I'll come back to you."
"But what if you don't? I'll be in constant pain and just give up on everything- Lose hope," I said tearing up slightly. He looked at me, unable to say anything else.

"Please don't leave, if you are, then take me with you," I said letting a tear roll down my face.
"I'll always stay by your side. Always," Harry said walking over and hugging me, "I love you Evelyn."
"I love you too Harry," I whispered holding on to him. He pulled away slightly, lifting my chin delicately, and leaned in to kiss me.

(Outfit reference!)
(A/N) In the books, the bridesmaid dresses are golden but I don't really like golden dresses...
"Ready when you are! Pay attention! It's your brother's wedding!" I heard Mr. Weasley shout from outside the burrow.
"It's all so crazy," I said turning back to face Fleur, "How are you feeling?"
"Nervous of course, but happy. I just wish- I just wish I could invite more people. Dad, Gabrielle, Cedric," Fleur said, her expressions saddening.
"Don't think about that, today's your wedding day. You're supposed to be happy."
She nodded, taking out a black box and opening it. Inside, there was a beautiful black tiara. Decorated with diamonds and moonstones, it twinkled in the light.
"That's beautiful," I said picking up the tiara from the box, "Where did you get it?"
"Mrs. Weasley lended it to me. It used to belong to her aunt, Muriel."
"Mrs. Weasley? She really did start to accept you," I said hanging her back the tiara.
"Bill and I have a cottage near the beachside. It's a lonely but beautiful place."
"That sounds amazing," I said walking over and hugging her, "I'll come visit whenever I can."
"You better," she said letting go of me.
"See your later," I said walking out of the room. The burrow was nicely decorated. Banners were handing on the walls and the burrow was unusually clean. The rusty cauldrons were nowhere to be found and were replaced by Flutterby bushes. In the living room, I could see Harry talking to someone- Ginny.
"It seems silly, doesn't it, a wedding? Given everything that's going on," she said. Fleur still asked her to be a bridesmaid along with me since she was Bill's sister. I'm not sure if Ginny still doesn't like Fleur, but she did accept her offer. That did make me happy when I heard that.
"Maybe that's the best reason to have it... because of everything that's going on. How are you and Fleur?" Harry asked Ginny.
"I'm happy for her and Bill, although I'm not sure if I'll really accept her as my sister-in-law. They are a good couple though," she said walking out the burrow to help the preparation.
"I see you haven't left," I said walking towards Harry. He was wearing a black suit with a purple shirt under and his face immediately lit up, eyeing me up and down.
"How could I leave you behind?" He said wrapping his hands around my waist.
"Now you think that?" I scoffed softly leaning into kiss him cupping his face with my hand. It was a long and deep one, never wanting to let go. I heard a slight footstep from behind Harry and pulled away. Behind Harry, George was leaning against the stove smiling at Harry and I. Harry turned around following my gaze to see George sipping a cup of tea.
"Morning," George said winking at us.
"I should go help with the preparation," I said clearing my throat and hurrying out the burrow.
Just beside the burrow a few people were gathered around a large white marquee that was halfway lifted. They were standing around it with their wands ready in their hand. I walked over beside Ron taking out my wand pointing it towards the marquee following everyone's lead.

"Morning Evelyn," Ron greeted.
"Morning Ron," I replied with a smile. From this day on, Ron would really be a family to me. My best friend now being my brother-in-law.
"All together now! One, two... Three," Mr Weasley shouted. Everyone slowly raised their wands upward and the marquee followed our motion.
"How's it look on your end boys?" Mr. Weasley shouted.
"Brilliant!" Fred shouted back from across the marquee. Just then, there was sudden rush of wind. I turned around to see what had caused the sound to see a tall wizard with grizzled hair materialize and walk towards the burrow, Rufus Scrimgeour. I remember seeing him on the daily prophet, the new minister of magic. He was also a former auror, I met him as a child.
"Bloody hell, what's the minister of magic doing here?" Ron said furrowing his eyebrows.
"I don't know, he was surely not invited," I said walking towards him.
"Ms. Clermont, pleasure to meet you again." He said holding out his hand, "I remember meeting you when you were only a child, you've grown so much."
"Pleasure to meet you too sir, but what brings you here?" I said shaking his hand.
"I'll explain later once we're inside," he said continuing to walk inside the burrow. Harry and Hermione greeted us as we walked inside the burrow. They both looked curious, yet worried.
"To what do we owe the pleasure, Minister?" Harry asked.
"I think we both know the answer to that question, Mr. Potter," Scrimgeour said walking over to the living room and sitting down on the couch. We all followed him, sitting across from him. He carefully opened his black suitcase pulling out a brown cloth bag while Ron, Hermione, Harry, and I exchanged glances.
"And this is...?" Harry asked. Scrimgeour sharply pulled out a piece of neatly folded parchment which floated into the air, unfolding itself.
"Herein is set forth the last will and testament of Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. First, to Ronald Bilius Weasley, I leave my Deluminator, a device of my own making in the hope that, when things seem most dark, it will show him the light," Scrimgeour read from the piece of parchment, handing the brown cloth bag to Ron. Ron opened the cloth bag carefully, revealing a strange device.
"Dumbledore left this for me?" Ron asked examining the device.
"Yeah."
"Brilliant. What is it?" Ron asked though Scrimgeour never game him an answer. Ron kept examining the deluminator clicking it. Once he clicked it, all the lights rushed from the lamps into the deluminator. When he clicked it again, all the lights flew back to the lamps they came from.
"Wicked," He said with a smile.
"To Hermione Jean Granger, I leave my copy of The Tales of Beedle the Bard in the hope that she find it entertaining and instructive," Scrimgeour continued reading, handing a small blue book to Hermione.
"Mom used to read me those, 'The Wizard and
the Hopping Pot.' 'Babbitty Rabbitty and the Cackling Stump.' Come on, Babbitty Rabbitty. No?" Ron said awkwardly laughing slightly, though no one else joined in on the laughter.
"To Miss Evelyn Isabelle Clermont, I leave the History of Magic, in hopes she'll use it for good, using her wisdom and quick thinking." Scrimgeour said handing me a tatted blue book. It was quite small for a book that's titled 'History of Magic', it was just about big as Hermione's book. The book wasn't in the best condition, the title of the book was unreadable.
"To Harry James Potter, I leave the Snitch he caught in his first Quidditch match at Hogwarts as a reminder of the rewards of perseverance and skill," Scrimgeour said taking out the golden snitch wrapped in a thin cloth.
Harry took the golden snitch into his hands examining it, though nothing happened. Scrimgeour was staring at him strangely, as if he was expecting something to happen. I thought something would also happen as well, he is Dumbledore's favorite after all.
"Is that it?" Harry asked placing the snitch in his pocket.
"Not quite. Dumbledore left you a second bequest, The sword of Godric Gryffindor. Unfortunately, the sword of Gryffindor was not Dumbledore's to give away. As an important historical artifact, it belongs-"
"To Harry," I said, interrupting Scrimgeour, "It belongs to Harry. It came to him when he needed it in the Chamber of Secrets."
"The sword may present itself to any worthy Gryffindor. That does not make it that wizard's property. And, in any event, the current whereabouts of the sword are unknown."
"Excuse me?"
"The sword is missing."
I didn't say anything, neither did Harry, Ron, or Hermione.
"I don't know what you're up to, Mr. Potter but you can't fight this war on your own. He's too strong," Scrimgeour said leaning in and speaking in a serious tone.
~***~
The wedding began and familiar people began to enter the marquee. Some people I knew, like Viktor Krum, and Hagrid. Charlie Weasley was also here, but not Percy. Percy really did abandon his family, didn't he.
A few people were in tears watching Fleur and Bill dance in the middle of the Marquee. Mrs. Weasley especially, was sobbing. It wasn't a sad one, she kept a smile on her face the whole time watching the two dance in each other's arms.
Harry was having a chat with an old man and a lady wrapped in extremely fancy purple clothing on the other side of the marquee. He looked like he was having an extremely serious conversation that I did not want to interrupt at all.
"Hello Evelyn," Viktor said with his Bulgarian accent coming up towards me with a drink in his hand.
"Viktor, how's it been?" I said greeting him with a smile.
"It's been good, and... Your friend Hermione, is she dating him?" He asked pointing towards Hermione who was dancing with Ron. They both looked so happy together, I'd understand why he'd think that.
"Er.. Sort of," I replied furrowing my eyebrows.
"What's the point of being an international Quidditch star when all the pretty girls are taken?" He said taking a sip of his drink. "Who is that man?" He added on, pointing at Xenophillius Lovegood, Luna's dad.
"Xenophillius Lovegood. Why do you ask?"
"That symbol he's wearing around his neck, it's the sign of Grindelwald. It is very offensive."
"Sign of Grindelwald? What do you-" I never got the chance to finish the sentence when a bright blue ball of light fell down through the canopy, floating in the middle of the marquee.
"The Ministry has fallen, The Minister of Magic is dead. They are coming... They are coming..." Shacklebelt's voice echoed through the marquee from the hall of light before disappearing. The guests started to fall into chaos, rushing to get out. Fleur and Bill had their foreheads pressed on to each other's, holding each other tight.
"Nice seeing you again Evelyn," Viktor said disapparating. Just as he disappeared, there was a crash and death eaters started storming in causing even more chaos.
"Harry!" I called out shoving through the crowd to get to him. A few of the death eaters started casting spells at the guests, causing a duels to break out. Harry too began shoving through the rushing crowd making his way towards me.
"Harry, Evelyn!" Hermione called out rushing towards Harry and I alongside Ron. We met at the middle grabbing onto each other, disaaparating, leaving the ruined wedding behind.
