A week ago Colin had told me that he wanted to have a nice dinner before I started work on Monday. He said he could notice my stress and that I was nervous about work but that's far from the truth. I'm excited, extremely excited about work. I can't wait to teach, I've missed it. What has got me stressed is the fact that I almost cheated and I can't help but feel nervous around Colin because what if he did see us? I mean y/n told me she had tinted windows but it was such a close call, too close. I've been trying to forget about it but it's just so hard to forget what could've happened.

Anyways I've been getting close with Aubrey. We talk about almost everything. I even told her about my situation. She asked me if y/n was hot and I immediately shut her down. I'm glad I have someone like her, I'm incredibly lucky. I also found out that she teaches just two rooms away from my room which is amazing because I can just walk over there in between breaks.

Today is Saturday and I just finished getting ready for dinner tonight. Colin told me to wear something nice which I didn't understand because we're just at our place, but like always I complied.

I head downstairs to the living room and find Colin sitting on the couch watching a football game. I walk in front of him and he completely ignores me. As I walk away he says "you look nice" in a bland voice with no reaction whatsoever. What was I even expecting? I'm use to it anyways.

I head over to the kitchen where I made steak, mashed potatoes, and some vegetables. I distribute the food onto two plates and put them on a table. I was going to grab drinks but I realized I drank all the wine because of my stress. I guess water will do. As I'm grabbing two glasses there's a knock on our door.

I look at Colin confused as to whom it may be and he just gestures for me to get it which I do.

I open the door revealing my friend Aubrey. She's wearing a beautiful red blouse with black pants and black heels. I happily hug her and she reciprocates the action.

"What are you doing here?" I ask surprised at her arrival.

"Colin invited me for dinner, free food. I'm here" she says teasingly.

I look at Colin and he just gives me a small smile and waves at Aubrey before returning his focus on the game.

"What's for dinner?" Aubrey asks playfully.

"Come see" I grab her arm and drag her to the kitchen.

"Wow Scarlett this looks amazing" she admires and it makes me feel happy that someone recognized my work.

Another knock on the door brings me out of my thoughts. Now who could this possibly be.

"Here's a plate, help yourself." I say leaving Aubrey alone in the kitchen.

"Don't mind if I do" I hear Aubrey say to herself which brings a small smile to my face.

As i head over to the door I see Colin get up quickly. He looks excited, must be one of his work friends or something.

I wait outside the door nervously, I can practically hear my heartbeat through my ears.

I'm a little late because I had to stop buy a local winery because I couldn't just show up empty handed, that's rude. My father always taught me that making contributions is extremely important and shows that you care. I thought of wine because why not?

I hear the doorknob click and the door swings open revealing Scarlett... and Colin right behind her. He's smiling happily and she, well she's frozen and her cheeks turned into a bright shade of red.

I clear my throat to speak but Colin basically shoves Scarlett out of the way to get to me. He pats my shoulder and hugs me tightly which I try to reciprocate but it's kinda hard when I'm holding a wine bottle in each hand.

"Come in!" He says happily and guides me into his penthouse. It's nice. Not as nice as mine but still nice.

"I'll take those" Colin says and grabs the two wine bottles and walks away to who knows where, leaving me alone with Scarlett.

I look at her and she's looking down playing with her fingers nervously.

"Hey, just relax I'm not here to stir up any problems" I say sincerely.

She looks up and furrows her brows and I swear I can see a hint of anger behind her eyes.

"Colin, I'll be back y/n wants to know where the bathroom is" Scarlett shouts. What is going on.

"Alright sweetheart, I'll watch the game while you do that" Colin shouts.

Another women walks near us, looking at me weirdly.

"This is her?" She asks while pointing at me.

I look at Scarlett confused and she just drags me upstairs completely ignoring the lady.

She shoves me quite aggressively into the bathroom, quickly locking the door and returning her gaze towards me.

"Did I say something wrong?" I ask nervously.

"If you didn't want to stir up problems you wouldn't be here" she hisses at me.

I scoff "it's not like I want to be here, your little boyfriend invited me and I couldn't just say no" I say getting irritated at the situation.

"Oh please, don't act like you didn't have a choice. You chose to come here" she says angrily.

I roll my eyes avoiding her gaze.

"Don't do that!" She points at my gesture.

"Or what?" I hiss.

"Y/n, you shouldn't be here. Do you know how guilty I've been feeling? I feel terrible okay. You being here isn't making it any better" she says sternly.

"And who's fault is that" I say not thinking before I said it.

She sighs and looks down. Why is this affecting me? I hate seeing her like this.

I clear my throat "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it" I say sincerely.

She looks up "no, you're right. This is my fault" she says softly.

I shake my head "I'll leave, I'll tell Colin I forgot to feed my dog"

She furrows her brows "you have a dog?"

"God no, but Colin doesn't know that" I say teasingly.

She laughs "You're something else y/l/n"

"Only when I'm with you" oh shit. Did I seriously just say that. Fuck.

"Stop. Look y/n, you can't say things like that to me. You know I'm with Colin and when you say things like that I...I feel. Just please don't." She pleads.

I nod "I know, I'm sorry it just slipped"

She looks at me with a sparkle in her eyes that I adore.

Before things go any further I clear my throat "I'll go tell Colin that I can't stay" i say walking towards the door.

She grabs my hand, stopping me.

"No, stay. He'll be disappointed" she says.

"Okay" I say.

Her grip on me doesn't go anywhere. I think she's forgotten that she has my arm in her hand.

I can see it in her eyes that she's contemplating something, I just don't know what. I grab her arm softly and that seems to bring her back.

"We better go downstairs before he starts getting suspicious" I say in a whisper.

She slowly nods.

I open the door and follow her downstairs.

Colin's sitting watching the football game and Who I assume is Scarlett's friend is sitting next to him.

"You guys ready?" Scarlett asks them both while I awkwardly stand beside her.

They both instantly get up. Colin walks to the table but the lady stays behind. I swear she just checked me out.

"Y/n this is my friend Aubrey Plaza" Scarlett introduces me.

"Aubrey this is y/n" Scarlett says gesturing towards me.

"So I've heard" Aubrey says while reaching out a hand.

I take her hand in mine and shake it.

"Wow, you've got big hands" she says and Scarlett slaps her shoulder.

I smile nervously.

"Y/n come sit" Colin says pointing to a seat.

I walk toward the seat and sit down. Moments later Aubrey sits next to me and Scarlett sits across from me.

I look at the food and I'm amazed how someone could make food this good.

"Scarlett you should be in one of those cooking shows, I'm sure you'd win. This is incredible." I say.

She offers a small appreciative smile and her cheeks turn red.

"Y/n, I love the wine you brought, it's fantastic" Aubrey said while taking a sip of the wine and keeping eye contact with me.

I clear my throat "Thanks" I say softly.

I look at Scarlett and she's glaring at Aubrey for some reason.

"Me too, but for this occasion I think we need something a bit stronger" Colin says as he walks away.

I look at Scarlett and Aubrey confused. Colin then returns with a bottle of vodka.

Aubrey claps "just what I needed" she says happily pouring herself a glass. She hands the bottle to Scarlett and she pours herself a fairly large amount. Colin then takes some mixed with his wine.

"Y/n have some" he says.

I shake my head "I have to drive"

He shakes his head "I'll order a cab"

"Colin, I can't" I say.

"Come on y/n, just for tonight" Aubrey says.

I contemplate and ultimately decide, why not?

"Fine, just this time" I say and they both cheer and hand me a glass.

I look at Scarlett and she looks away immediately. What was that about?

I down the glass faster then I should have.

We're all practically done with dinner, Colin and Aubrey engaged in a conversation that didn't make any sense to begin with so I just dozed off.

I look at Scarlett and she's already looking at me. Her eyes look darker then usual. She looks down at my lips and back up. Once she sees the state that I'm in her lips curve into a troubled smirk. This isn't good. I feel something graze my leg and I look down and see that it's Scarlett's leg. I look up and see her smiling at me. She's enjoying this. I feel something twitch. Oh come on, not here. Not now.

I awkwardly clear my throat "I'm going to the bathroom" I say to Colin.

He smiles and stretches his hands all the way up with two thumbs up. Oh he's really drunk.

I walk away and head upstairs avoiding any eye contact with Scarlett.

I make it to the bathroom and quickly lock the door I look at myself in the mirror and it's kind of blurry. I feel my pants tighten up a bit. I look down and sigh. Could things get any worse?

There's a knock on my door. Oh shit.

"I'm kinda busy" I say nervously.

"Open the door" I hear Scarlett say on the other end.

"No" I say sternly.

"I wasn't asking miss y/l/n" Scarlett says in a serious tone.

I know for a fact she won't take no for an answer. There's no way for me to hide this even if I wanted to.

I unlock the door and slightly open it.

"What do you want?" I hiss.

"You know better then to speak to me like that y/n. Why don't you try again" she says with dark eyes.

I sigh "Hi Scarlett, I'm busy. Do you need anything?" I blurt out.

"Much better" she says before pushing the door wide open and walking inside.

"Scarlett!" I shout and she covers my mouth with her hand while the other close the door.

She pushes me against the door and smiles.

"Now, I need you to be quiet. Can you do that?" She ask softly while her hand is still covering my mouth.

I slowly nod.

"Good" she releases her hand.

"Are you crazy?" I whisper shout.

She shakes her head and puts her hand back over my mouth.

"What part of be quiet did you not understand. You have real authority issues y/n, I can fix that" she says while pressing herself against me.

I can't help but moan at the feeling, I look at her and she's just smiling tauntingly at me.

"Will you listen now?" She asks.

I nod once again.

She slowly releases her hand and I stay quiet this time.

"Good job. Was that so hard?" She asks teasingly.

I roll my eyes. She grabs my chin and redirects my vision towards her.

"I know something else is" she taunts.

My eyes go wide. She knows? How?

"You're the daughter of a billionaire, I'd imagine you know that google has a lot to say about you" she says.

"I just wanted to let you know that I have no problem with it, quite the opposite actually." She says.

"I think it's best that you leave before we both do something we might regret. I'm drunk. It was a pleasure having you over y/n" she says before pushing me out of the bathroom.

What the hell just happened. Was that a fever dream? Drunk Scarlett is truly something else. I'm frozen in shock that I couldn't even here Aubrey laughing behind me. I turn to look at her.

"I was just waiting for the bathroom, don't worry Colin's downstairs" she says while walking towards me.

"Might want to cover that up before Colin sees. It's bigger than I imagined" she says while patting my shoulder and walking towards Scarlett's door.

I shake my head and walk downstairs finding Colin passed out on the table. Guess leaving will be easier then I thought. Time to call Alfred.
