You couldn't process what was happening. Or what had just happened. Suddenly your tears were gone, like he had taken them with him. You clenched your fists trying to bare with the pain you felt in your chest. Your gaze focused onto your feet, and the tiled floor you stood on.
How could I let this happen...?
"Y/N? You're still here?"
You looked up and saw Jungkook standing in the doorway. When you saw him, your chest hurt even more.
"I just saw Jimin, did you tell him? Is that why he's upset..?" Jungkook hesitantly questioned.
"N-no.... we uh...we broke up.." You mumbled frailly, still in disbelief. Jungkook's eyes widened as he took a step closer.
"Y/N, I'm so sorry..." he whispered as he reached out to you. He pulled you into a warm hug, attempting to comfort you. You wrapped your arms around him, and felt everything hit you at once. Your chest was pounding, and tears streamed down your cheeks, and into the fabric of Jungkook's T-shirt.
"He thinks I wanted to break up kookie..." You mumbled, barely managing to speak, let alone breathe.
"I don't know what to do, I don't want us to be over. What if he really doesn't show up tomorrow?" You spoke a little louder, weeps following in between a few of your words. Jungkook simply shushed you and rubbed your head.
"It's okay...we'll figure it out. Just-....just let me talk to him? Okay?"
He released you from his arms and wiped the trails that stained your cheeks.
"Leave it to your kookie." He flashed his cute bunny smile and pulled out his phone.
"Lisa is standing at the door. I texted her to let you sleepover at her place." He informed you as he walked you out of the room to Lisa.
"Get some rest Y/N. He'll show tomorrow, promise."

With that, Jungkook handed you off to Lisa, and began running in the rain. Most likely to Jimin.
I ran to the bus stop to get out of the rain, and pulled my phone out of my pocket to text Taehyung.
Do you know where Jimin is?
-Me
Uhh...I think he went home?
-Taehyung
Okay, thanks.
-Me
I locked my phone and put it back into my pocket as the bus approached the stop. I got on and took it to Jimin's house. I rang his doorbell, but there was no answer. Only faint weeping coming from upstairs as far as I could tell. I rang the bell two more times.
"Jimin?! Hyung open up!" I yelled as I continued to ring. At his point I knew he wasn't going to answer his door, so I looked around to see if there was a spare key. I checked under the mat, and there wasn't one. I checked the plants, under the rocks. I even lifted up the doorbell thingy, when I already knew it wouldn't be there. I was about to give up, when I realized I should've just tried opening the darn thing. So I twisted the doorknob, and the door opened.
As happy as I am the door was open, he really should lock his door.
"Jimin?" I called out as I closed and locked the door behind me. Suddenly, I heard something break from upstairs.
Oh no.
I ran up the stairs as quickly as I could, skipping at least two steps at a time. Just then, I bashed into his room, as he held pieces of glass in his hands.
"Park Jimin so help me if you were about to do what I thought you were-"
"No! I wasn't!" He yelled cutting me off. "I was going to answer the door but I knocked down my vase instead." He informed me, throwing out the glass. I sighed in relief as he dusted off his hands.

"Want to explain why you practically ran out of the building today?" I questioned as I sat on his bed. He sighed and took a seat next to me.
"Me and Y/N broke up..." he stuttered.
"Your eyes are puffy. Were you crying?"
"Of course not. I wouldn't cry over a girl." He protested, turning his face away from me. I chuckled and raked my fingers through my hair.
"Aigoo, you're so stubborn. I could hear you weeping from outside."
He turned his face to me, a slight pink in his cheeks. "R-really??"
"Yep."
Jimin smiles softly before looking down at his fidgeting fingers. "I don't know what to do... I said I wouldn't be here for her tomorrow, who does that?" Jimin threw his body back onto the bed and covered his face with the palms of his hands.
"Well then show your support for her tomorrow. It's a big day for Y/N, and you need to be there. I'm sure that's what she wants you to do, and that this whole thing is a misunderstanding."
Jimin let out a loud groan and sniffled twice. "I don't know if I can...."
"I'm trusting you to make the right choice hyung. Talk to Y/N tomorrow, okay?"
Before he responded, I got out up and patted his knee. "Fighting!"
With that, I made my way out of his house and called a cab to make my way home.
"Y/N are you sure? You can stay at my place it's really no problem." Lisa comforted you as she walked you to the bus stop. You gave her a soft smile and nodded your head.
"I'll be fine, really. I'll be ready for the competition. For sure." You stated, trying to sound as convincing as you could. Lisa sighed and rubbed your arm.
"Okay Y/N....Call me when you're home..okay?"
You gave her a thumbs up and got on the bus, waving goodbye as the bus drove off. You sat in the seat all the way in the back by the window and plugged in your headphones. You kept playing instrumental songs as you glared at the raindrops fall from the sky until you eventually reached your home. You opened the door and saw your brother sitting in the couch next to Hoseok.
Hoseok looked at Namjoon and back to you. He gave you a slight nod and whispered something in his ear.
"Later Y/N. Good luck tomorrow."
You smiled and bowed your head slightly before waving goodbye to Hobi.
"Hey Y/N. How was practice?" Namjoon asked as you plopped onto the couch next to him, taking a sip of his water.
"It was good." You lowly replied as you laid your head on your brothers shoulder.
"Joonie, Jimin and I broke up today."
Namjoon practically spit out his water as he covered his mouth.
"You-he-what?"
You chuckled at how shocked your brother looked at what you just said.
"A-are you okay?"
"Yea...I'm fine. I have a competition tomorrow so I'm just gonna call it a night."
Namjoon watched as you stood out of your seat and cleared his throat.
"Y/N are you sure you're alright..?"
You gave him a smile and ruffled his hair. "Of course. Thanks for worrying."
Without another word, you headed up to your bedroom after taking a quick shower. As soon as your head hit the pillow, a stream a tears came flowing out.
You clenched your pillow tight in your arms, trying to bare with the returning pain in your chest. It felt like needles were being stuck into your body.
I was stupid...so stupid
