《Mr's Little Sister || Jimin X Reader FF》Chapter 18: I'll Protect You

The walk to Taehyung's house wasn't that long, even though you forced everyone to go to the store with you. You bought Taehyung some tea and some ingredients so you could make everyone some soup when you got there. When you arrived at his house, Jungkook knocked on the door, and soon enough it slowly opened.
"Oh, hello everyone."
The woman bowed her head.
I'm guessing that's his mother.
You thought you yourself. Everyone bowed their heads in unison, greeting her warmly.
"Are you here to see Taehyung?" She questioned. Her voice was sweet and subtle, you guessed it was where Taehyung got his soothing voice.
"Yea, we bought him some tea, and we'd like to cook for him if you don't mind." You explained. The woman smiled warmly and opened the door more.
"Of course! Please, come in."
You all smiled and walked inside the house taking your shoes off at the entrance.
"Taehyung is in his room. Leave the groceries on the table and come back in about thirty minutes. It's best for him to eat when his medication wears off." His mother explained. You did as she said, and gently laid the bags on the counter in the kitchen, before heading upstairs. Jungkook carefully opened the door, and shushed you all.
"He's sleeping." He whispered. You all nodded and tiptoed into his room and sat in the chairs by his bed.
"Does he get sick often?" Lisa questioned running her fingers through her hair.
"Yes and no. Sometimes he can go a long time without getting sick, and sometimes he can't." Jimin explained. "So we can't really tell if he'll be fine tomorrow for the show, but hopefully he's okay."
"I'd prefer if he stayed in bed even if he was feeling better." Jungkook mumbled as he paced the floors before taking a seat next to Taehyung's feet. It was nice, being able to see this side of these 'playboys.' You looked over at Taehyung, who peacefully slept on the bed.
"I'll be right back." You stated as you got out of your seat.
"Where are you going?" Jimin questioned as he watched you get up.
"I'm going to go get something."
Without any further explanation, you walked downstairs and grabbed a rag, and soaked it in hot water before slightly ringing it out. Carefully, you brought it back upstairs and placed it on Taehyung's forehead.
"That'll help him get better?" Jimin confusingly asked as you took the seat next to him. You shrugged your shoulders.
"Honestly, I don't even know. It just helps me when I'm feeling sick, so maybe it'll work for him."
Just as you said that, Taehyung took a deep breath through his nose. You guessed it was stuffed, so maybe the heat of the rag helped him. For a while, you all sat there and talked casually, waiting for Taehyung to wake up, and soon enough, his eyes slowly opened. He looked around the room and sat up, weakly smiling at all of you.
"What are you all doing here?" He questioned, his deep voice was somehow even lower, and slightly raspy.
"We came to visit you Tae." Jimin replied.
Taehyung's smile grew wide as he cautiously sat up, rearranging the rag onto the back of his neck.
"No really, why are you here?" He joked.
"Y/N wanted to make you soup and we all want to make you feel better. School seriously sucked without you." Jimin admitted cutely crossing his arms. You chuckled and nodded your head.

"I bought the ingredients earlier, so if you're hungry I can go make some now." You offered. "Y/N you are so nice to me." Taehyung happily stated. You chuckled and got out of your seat and walked downstairs into the kitchen to prepare the soup. It wasn't hard, and the stove Taehyung had was really pretty and cooked things a lot quicker, so tea and soup took about 15 minutes. You set the table with bowls and cups, neatly placing the food in the center, and pouring tea into every glass.
"You are truly wife material." You heard a voice say from behind you. When you turned around, you saw Taehyung's mom standing in the doorway of the kitchen.
How long had she been standing there?
"Oh! T-thank you." You nervously responded. She chuckled and put her hands in her jacket pocket.
"Tell Taehyung and everyone else that you're all free to spend the night. I'll be going out on a business trip tonight. I want to make sure he's being looked after. Do you mind staying here?"
She innocently questioned tilting her head.
"Oh..uh..sure?"
"Thank you so much, I'll pay you-"
"There's no need to pay me, taking care of a friend isn't something that should be rewarded." You cut her off.
She simply smiled, letting out a small giggle.
"Thank you. Please tell everyone to be safe okay?"
You nodded your head and waved as she walked out of the front door.
"Y/N~ah! That smells good." Taehyung called out from the bottom of the staircase. When they walked into the kitchen, they took their seats. Taehyung and Jungkook at the ends, Lisa on one side, and you and Jimin on the other. Jungkook took a sip of the broth and widened his eyes.
"This is really good Y/N!" Jungkook complimented you before eating some of the noodles.
"Good, this is amazing!" Lisa and Taehyung said in unison. You smiled warmly and bowed your head slightly.
"It's nothing but soup."
"Yea but it's the best soup because you made it for me Y/N." Taehyung warmly smiled at you and continued to eat.
You looked over to your shoulder at Jimin. He smiled sweetly and pecked your lips, making your cheeks heat up a little.
"Soup is nothing compared to you." Jimin flirtatiously whispered in your ear. You gently pushed him away and giggled in embarrassment.
"Yah! No flirting at the table you little nasties!" Lisa called out jokingly. You all chuckled and continued to eat your food.
"Oh, by the way, Taehyung. Your mom mentioned something about going on a business trip tonight, so she wants us all to spend the night. Is that okay with you?"
You questioned as you got up to wash your dish.
"Oh, sure!" He smiled softly and walked over to the sink to wash his plate after you.
"Just put it in the sink, I'll wash it for you."
"I can wash them-"
"Shush! I'm washing it." You demanded taking his dishes. He laughed and ruffled your hair.
"You're so cute Y/N, like a little fluff." He joked. You smiled and blushed a little bit. You weren't too good with handeling compliments.
"Hey everyone, I'll take care of dishes so go choose a movie and I'll be out in a second."
"Okay, thanks Y/N."
They all handed you their dishes, and walked over to the sofa in the living room. All except for Jimin.
He stood next to you and began to wash his own dishes.

"Yah, I said I'll wash them." You stated washing the last of the ones you had. Jimin looked at you and chuckled, before he finished washing his bowl.
"Yea, but I wanted to wash my own." He stubbornly whined to you bumping your shoulder.
"Yea because you're hard headed." You joked flinging water into his eye. His face scrunched up a little before he started laughing.
"That's what we do now? I really REAALLY hope you're not ticklish today." He teased holding up his hands.
"Yah yah yah I'm sorry!" You repeated as he came closer.
"Not sorry enough."
Before you could react, he attacked you with tickles. You pushed him away and tried to make an escape. You didn't trap yourself in a room like last time, instead you tried running into the living room, but you tripped over your own foot. You closed your eyes to embrace yourself for the pain, but it never came. You slowly opened your eyes and realized that Jimin had taken the fall for you.
"Are you okay twinkle toes?" You questioned squeezing his cheeks.
He groaned and nodded his head. "You have to be careful Y/N." he mumbled as he rubbed his forehead. He sat up, putting his weight on his elbows. You haven't noticed the position you two were in until you were face to face. Your cheeks turned a slight red before you cleared your throat.
Jimin's focus looked at your lips, before he licked his own. He then brushed your hair out your face, and rested his hand on your cheek before leaning in.
"Y/N? You okay? We heard something-"
Lisa's jaw dropped at the sight of you on top of Jimin.
You blushed as you awkwardly stood on your two feet.
"I-it's not what it looks like, I fell and-"
Lisa sighed and massaged her temples.
"Look, I don't need an explanation, but we chose a movie." She explained pointing behind her.
"Okay, we'll be right out."
You watched as she walked out of the kitchen before looking at Jimin, offering him your hands. He put his hands in yours, and you lifted off the ground before walking into the living room. You took your phone out your pocket and let Namjoon know you were spending the night at a friend's house. When you finished, you sighed and stuffed your phone back into your pocket.
"What movie are we watching?" You questioned as you sat on the two seated couch with Jimin.
"Ouiji."
You scoffed and crossed your legs.
"This outta be good." You whispered. You loved horror movies, they weren't really scary to you, it was just funny. Especially paranormal stuff where the people would hit the ceiling or something cheesy like that. You looked over to Jimin who looked a little nervous.
"What's wrong? Don't like horror movies?" You whispered in his ear teasingly. He gulped before he looked over to you.
"N-no, I like them, I just..have a sensitive heart..?"
You chuckled and leaned your head on his shoulder.
"I'll protect you." You mumbled grabbing his hand.
After a couple minutes into the movie, there was a jump scare, and as expected, Jimin flinched. You bit your lip to prevent laughing too loud, but Jimin still heard you.
"Stop laughing, it's not funny." He gritted through his teeth.
"You're scared for no reason." You whispered back between giggles.
He pouted his lips cutely before making eye contact with you. "It's not funny." He repeated smiling after. You smiled back at him.
He's such a cute little fluff.
You thought to yourself. You kissed his cheek and intertwined your arms with his.
"You're so cute." You whispered to him, resting your head on his chest. Jimin scoffed.
"Cute? Me?" He questioned. You looked up to him and smiled.
"Yes, cute." You replied looking into his eyes.
His eyes widened as he smiled teasingly at you. He then leaned closer to your ear and whispered.
"Do I need to remind you that I'm not cute?~"
"Nope. I'm trying to watch a movie."
You focused your attention back onto the movie without saying another word. You looked over to Lisa, who was sound asleep on Taehyung's shoulder, and Taehyung leaned on Jungkook, and Jungkook rested his head on Taehyung's. Had they all been sleeping this whole time?
Suddenly, you felt a pair of lips on your neck.
"Jimin..." you whispered. "Go away."
You whispered weakly as you tried to push his head away. He grabbed your waist and pulled you closer before releasing his lips from your skin.
"Why?" He whispered. "I just want a kiss~" he teased. He puckered his lips and leaned closer to you, but you placed your finger over his lips.
"No means no." You repeated smiling at him. Jimin laughed and ran his fingers through is hair.
"You play too much." You joked as you stood up from your seat. You stretched your arms, letting out a small yawn, and turned off the movie and woke everyone up so they could all shower. One by one, everyone took a shower, and Taehyung lent you and Lisa his moms clothes, and Jimin and Jungkook some of his.
When you all recollected yourselves, you all sat in the living room again and ordered some Chinese food, played a couple of board games, until it reached 10'o clock.
"Okay, Jimin and Jungkook are in my room. Lisa and Y/N, you can sleep in the guest room."
You nodded your head, and followed Lisa down the hall into the room.
"Okay, spill it."
You tilted your head before sitting criss cross on the bed.
"Spill what?"
"How'd you two make up?"
You smiled awkwardly and rubbed the nape of your neck.
"Well, it's a funny story really. Turns out Jimin has a cousin who goes to our school. Thanks to her and some other people-"
"Other people?" Lisa interrupted.
"My brother, Taehyung, Jungkook and you made me realize how I really felt about him. Anyways, his cousin Momo came to my class to 'talk' to me, and I sort of confessed that I still liked him. I went to leave the classroom and he was standing at the door. We talked it out and we made up."
She crossed her arms and smirked.
"Explain these." She blurted out pointing at the faint marks on your collar bone. You blushed and hid it, but slowly removed your hands when you realized it was no use. You sighed and brushed your hair behind your ears.
"Well... later on yesterday night we made up. Like, for real made up." You admitted, slightly embarrassed. Lisa snickered and sat on the bed next to you.
"You're grown. Anyways, as long as you're happy Y/N, I don't have a problem. But the next time he hurts you, he'll feel my wrath." She joked. You giggled at her statement before turning off the light. After a few minutes of conversation, you told Lisa you would do chorus. She was happy and excited for you, and soon enough the both of you peacefully drifted off to sleep.

The Ruined Monks of Rothfield Monastery
Erin is the youngest member of the dark monks; a supernatural brotherhood whose ultimate mission is to improve the dire circumstances of poor, war-torn villages using powers unique to each member. Or so he was led to believe. Erin, like his brothers, does not age, and that is, unfortunately, the only trait he shares with them. He cannot charm or compel like Woodrow, he cannot cast illusions like Knox, he was not swift like Swithin, not powerful like Blake. He was barely an assistant to his dear brother Wilbur, with his herbology and alchemy. He was told to lie low and make himself scarce. That is what he did. The dark monks temporarily reside in abandoned monasteries scattered around the country, feeding the poor and healing the sick, nurturing the monastic lands until it was fertile enough to raise crops and rear animals. As the years passed, they would leave these reformed, repopulated, self-sustaining monasteries and venture froth to help the next settlement. Yet, after years of toiling and quiet servitude, Erin notices that people and the country itself are declining. The villagers look gaunt, the once-lush soil now barren and cracked. He begins to feel disheartened, thinking that their mission is proving futile. Still, their leader Blake is steadfast and charges onward, and lately has his eyes set on a certain monastery in a thick, thorned forest that seems to diminish, even nullify their powers. A thick forest that Erin somehow has a connection to. A thorned glade where an ethereal voice calls his name with one simple request along with a promise:Heal the land, child. Heal the land and I promise to give you sanctuary so long as you stay. I promise to nurture you as you nurture me. As Erin cultivates the land, the land, in turn, gifts all its caretakers with new, enhanced skillsets on top of their unique powers -- skills of protection, healing, and magic. Magic. Erin had long wished to see the world fill with it again. The people, regardless of common or noble blood, still believe that magic will enter this world again. Magic to bless the king like it did the Saints. Magic to dispel the miasma befouling the world. Magic to bring back the fae folk and their many forms. It is up to Erin to forge the many paths leading to a bright future; to build a prosperous paradise that welcomes all races and bloodlines, by mastering the rewards gained through agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry, smithing, crafting, and fishing. Erin may also find a lifelong friendship and romance with his neighbor, Claude, if he decides to pursue him, and may even join him in the military campaign outside the monastery. The darkness still lurks outside, after all, and the mastery of his skills, along with a few good friends, may finally be enough to turn the tide in their favor. Most of all, Erin wants to keep the vow he set for himself: to protect everyone and everything he loves until his dying breath.
