《Harry Hook X Reader X Carlos De Vil》Chapter 24

I walked back towards the VK's place and was shocked to see that Evie, Jay, and Carlos were at the bottom of the stairs.
Carlos looked at my direction, his eyes widening and smiling at my form.
"(Y/N)!" He shouted and ran towards me, making the two look at me also.
He hugged me but I didn't hugged back, slowly getting out of his hold.
He frowned, making me walk towards Evie and Jay.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, with my arms crossed.
"We're here to get you and Mal back to Auradon."
Evie gave me a smile as Carlos went to stand beside Jay, I avoided his eye contact and looked at her.
"I'm sorry, you won't convince us to go back. We only just came here, so you guys can go back and be happy with your lives."
The three gave me a sad look and Carlos stood infront of me.
"(Y/N), I need you. I don't know what I would do if you're not by my side." Carlos pleaded, giving me puppy dog eyes.
I shook my head.
"You should've thought about that when you were busy giving all your time to Jane."
"How many times am I going to tell that Jane and I have nothing?!" Carlos shouted, making me angry.
"It doesn't look like it's nothing!" I shouted back, glaring daggers at him.
"Stop it, you two. It doesn't help our situation."
Evie went in between us, making me look away.
I heard Carlos scoff and said, "Whatever."
The gate opened and Ben walked down towards us.
"Where's Mal?" Evie asked as she walked towards him.
"She's not coming back." Ben said.
"I told you so." I said, crossing my arms again.

They looked at me and Evie gave me a 'shut up' look.
"I'll talk to her."
She then went towards the megaphone, "M? Mal, it's Evie. Let me just talk to you for a second."
"Go away!" Mal spoke through it.
"Let's give her a couple of hours to cool off." Jay said, reassuring Evie.
"Guys, where's Ben?" Carlos asked, making the three of us look at the alley way.
We saw a figure walking towards us but I know whose that silhouette is, and it's not Ben.
"Ben, don't scare us like that!" Evie shouted at the figure.
"Don't scare you?"
Harry went into the light to reveal himself to the others.
"But that's my specialty." He gave us an evil grin.
"What did you do to Ben?" Jay asked, ready to punch him.
"Oh! We nicked him! And if you want to see him again, Mal come to the chip shop tonight. Alone."
He pointed to all of us, smirking my way.
"Uma wants a little visit."
He then pouted at Jay.
"Aw, Jay. Seems like you've lost your touch."
He was about to beat Harry but luckily Evie stopped him.
Harry laughed then looked between me and Carlos, he pulled me to his chest and smirked at Carlos.
They stretched their arms towards me but they weren't fast enough.
He stroked his hook on my cheek, making me shiver.
He smiled down at me victoriously then looked at my boyfriend.
"Don't worry, mutt. She'll be in good hands after this, if you know what I mean. Arf!"
Harry lets go of me and winked at me before walking away from us.
"(Y/N), you okay?" Jay asked me.
I didn't look away from Harry's retreating form and answered, "Yeah. I'm good."

I looked at Carlos to see him glaring at daggers at Harry's back and then gave me a concerned look.
I gave him a reassuring smile and gestured upstairs.
"Let's go." I said and Jay started to climb up.
~~~
"If you guys never would've brought him here, this never would've happen." Mal lectured the others, making them look down at the ground.
"What were you thinking?!"
"He was gonna come with or without us. We just want to protect him!" Evie explained but Carlos walked infront of her.
"Yeah and we completely blew it!" Carlos said, making Jay interfere.
"Okay! So what are we gonna do?"
"We," I gestured to all of us except Mal. "Are not doing anything."
She walked towards us.
"This is between Uma and me, and she's a punk. And guess what, now I have to go get him."
"Mal, you're still gonna go through Harry Hook and his wharf rats." Carlos stated.
"You're gonna need us." Jay added.
"Uma said to come alone." Mal said looking at the four of us.
"Mal, come on." Evie started but Carlos chimed in, "She said to come alone."
He then turned around to them.
"I know one thing, I'm not going anywhere."
Carlos plopped down on the couch.
"We'll be here when you get back." Jay reassured and Mal started to walk away.
I plopped down on the couch and sighed.
What are they going to do?
I felt an arm wrapped around my shoulders, making me look at the owner.
I gave Carlos a small smile as he rubbed my shoulder.
"You know that I won't let anything happen to you, right?"
I nodded, "Yeah."
I looked away and remembered what happened at my and Harry's old place.
Carlos doesn't need to know what Harry and I did or our past. If we're gonna get out of this situation, I hope I pick the right choice...
