《Harry Hook X Reader X Carlos De Vil》Chapter 23

I told Mal everything about my history with the son of Captain Hook, and she told me that don't get too distracted because he might use me as .
He wouldn't do that, right?
I walked towards our old hangout place and it looked as if it didn't even changed.
I stared at the visible Auradon and a thought came into my mind.
How's Carlos? Is he happy or sad?
I heard footsteps getting louder from behind me but I just ignored it, knowing who it is.
His arms wrapped around my waist and put his chin on my shoulder.
"You're still wearing the necklace."
I didn't answer and he continued.
"I missed you, lass." He said and gently kissed my shoulder.
I frowned as the old memories flooded back in an instant.
Once Harry noticed that I wasn't going to talk, he turned me around and made me look at him.
"Don't you miss me too?"
He cupped my cheek and wiped the tear I didn't know that fell.
"I missed you, very much." I sniffled.
"Then why didn't you tell me that you weren't coming back?" He frowned, making more tears flow down my cheeks.
I looked away.
"I was supposed to but I felt as if you don't need to see me anymore."
He hugged me tightly and put his hand behind my head.
"Why would you think that?" He asked, pulling away at arms length.
"You don't need to know why, Hook."
I got out of his arms and crossed my arms infront of my chest, staring at the sea.
"I want to know, lass! I want an explanation why you left me here without even a single note!" Harry yelled, making me freeze in place.
This is the first time he yelled at me!
I felt him grab my shoulder and turned me around to face him again.
His eyes softened at my shaking state.
I pushed away his hand, managing to look tough.
He laughed.
"You haven't changed one bit."
My eyebrows furrowed, "What do you mean?"
He glanced at me then at Auradon.
"You're still the girl I fell in love with."

My eyes widened at what I just heard as he looked back at me.
Harry gave me a genuine smile and grabbed my hand.
"I fell in love with my father's rival's daughter and still am."
"Harry, I-"
I couldn't talk, it's like my ability to speak disappeared into thin air.
He traced circles on the back of my hand and said, "I was going to confess the next day but you didn't showed up. I waited for months to see you back in my arms, and finally tell you that I love you."
He cupped my cheek and slowly leaned in, closing the gap between us with a passionate kiss.
I wanted to pull away but my body moved on its own and kissed back, my arms wrapping around Harry's neck.
We pulled away and looked at eachother lovingly, but then I remembered Carlos and the scene I saw a year ago.
I slowly pushed away, making him frown in confusion.
"Harry, this is wrong... Uma might kill me when she learns that her boyfriend just kissed his bestfriend." I said, slightly panicking when I heard him laugh.
"What's funny?"
I glared at Harry as he walked towards me.
"Boyfriend? You think I'm dating Uma?"
"Well, yeah."
I looked at him as if it was the most obvious thing.
He laughed once again and grabbed my hand.
"Lass, Uma and I aren't dating. We're just friends."
I gave him a confused look.
"Then who was that I saw making out with Uma a year ago?"
He suddenly gave me a serious look.
"What do you mean?"
I rolled my eyes.
"Before I left the Isle, I saw you and Uma making out in that chip shop."
His hand let go of mine and turned his back to me.
"What did I wore?" He asked, his voice going deeper.
My body shook at his voice and continued to speak, "You wore your usual hat and cloak."
He turned back to me, "Did I have my hook?"
"Well, no--"
My eyes widened in realization and covered my mouth with both of my hands.

"You would always have your hook! But..."
I was instantly hit by realization.
"And it wasn't even hanging from your belt."
I facepalmed and sat down on the hammock.
"I know that I was out of the chip shop that day and went home when I... dropped my stuff."
He sat down then slowly looked at me also in realization.
"Uma ordered me to drop my stuff at the shop before I went out to steal things from the market."
"Do you think... Do you think she knows about us?"
I looked at Harry, grabbing his arm.
He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and said, "I'm not sure, lass. But I'll talk to her about it."
We both smiled at eachother and he started to lean in again, but I felt as if guilt washed over me.
I slightly pushed him away.
"Harry, let's not do this..."
He looked at me with confusion written on his face.
"What's wrong, love?"
I looked down at my hands and confessed, "I have a boyfriend..."
Harry tensed up beside me and I didn't dare to look at his hurt expression.
"Who is he?" He asked, his voice above whisper.
I looked at him and said, "It's Carlos. Son of Cruella De Vil."
He laughed.
"Him? That coward?"
I glared at him.
"He's not a coward!"
He stopped laughing and looked at me with a serious face.
"You have a boyfriend and you're telling me this now? We just kissed a few moments earlier!" He shouted, standing up.
I followed his actions.
"I know! Don't you think I'm guilty enough?!"
God dammit, (Y/N)! Why are you so stupid?!
I felt tears streaming down my face like a waterfall.
"Then why would you come back here if you have a boyfriend?!"
I looked away, can't look at him right now.
"It's because I want to get away from Auradon for just a second! This is just like when I was here a year ago, but worse! What would you feel if you think that your significant other likes someone else?! And worse of all, with the person you have been despising for years?!"
I shouted out all of the things I've been hiding ever since I came to the Isle.
I exhaled, looking at him angrily but the truth is I'm angry at myself.
Harry had an apologetic expression now instead of his maddened one just earlier.
"I should go, Mal might be looking for me."
I started walking down the path back to the VK's place, ignoring Harry's calls.
I hate myself! I hate my life! I should move on, on both of them.
If only that's easy...
I went back to the chip shop and bumped into Gil on the way in.
"Harry! Uma's been waiting for you, she wants to talk."
I nodded and went towards the back of the shop.
"Harold! Finally! Gil just told me that he saw King Ben and Mal's posse at the market, I need you to go to their place and kidnap the king."
Uma grinned evilly at me as I just stared at her.
"Aye, captain."
She gave me a confused look and asked, "What are you-"
I cut her off by pushing her against the wall.
"Get off of me, Hook!"
I glared at her.
"Did you know about me and (Y/N)?"
She chuckled dryly.
"So she has a name? You were getting distracted with our training and I just did what is needed."
"By dragging her away?!" I shouted, pretty sure the people in the shop can hear me.
"It was for you Harry! I just did what a captain would do for her crew's safety!"
I let go of Uma, making her fall.
I turned around and stormed off of the shop, dragging Gil with me.
"Where are we going?"
"We're going king fishing." I replied, giving him a sack.
"I didn't know there are kings in the sea!"
I rolled my eyes at Gil and continued to walk towards where (Y/N) and her friends would be.

8 63Choices of the Magicless Son
I had an ability that allowed me to watch everyone. I narrated everything I witnessed. To who? To whichever being that's listening to my thoughts right now. I have a gut feeling you're there. Erik Spearhand was born from one of the many concubines of the current human emperor. The boy was insignificant. He was the only one in the whole world who couldn't use magic. And yet, his choices impacted everyone. I had seen every sort. Powerful mages who could kill with a thought. Monster people who had their own history among human and beastman civilization. And even what I presume are time travelers. Those mess with my head. And still, the magicless son was the most formidable of them all. Of all of us.
