I walked with Ben, Audrey, Doug, and the VK's to the lockers.
"Hey, (Y/N)."
I looked at Carlos who was sitting on one of the chairs.
"Hey, what's up?"
"I wanted to talk to you about what happened at the forest." Carlos said, smiling at me.
"What about it?" I asked.
He then looked at something behind me.
"Hey, uh. Let's talk later, yeah?"
He slowly stood up from his seat and walked towards Ben and Mal.
I followed, not knowing what was happening.
"Mal, have you always had those little golden specks in your eyes?" Ben asked, about to take another bite from his cookie.
Mal stopped him and put it back into its plastic bag.
Did Ben just complimented Mal's eyes?
I shook my head.
Ben always compliments everyone.
"How ya feeling, bro?" Jay asked as he put his hands on Ben's arm and shoulder.
"I feel like... Like singing your name!" Ben shouted, about to sing.
"Maaaaal~"
Mal put her hand on his mouth to stop him.
I looked at Carlos and Evie suspiciously.
I was about to say something when Carlos instantly held my hand.
The both of us blushed at the action, making me forget what I was going to say to them.
~~~
We were at the Tourney Field as I stood next to coach and patted Chad's shoulder.
"Get 'em, Chad!" Jay said, making me and Chad have a surprised expression.
"Thanks, Jay."
Chad thanked him and ran to the center of the field.
"You're up!" I said to Jay with a smile.
I saw him hesitate for a bit and pulled Carlos up with him.
"Coach! How about my buddy here?"
"Oh no." Carlos said, getting out of Jay's arm.
"Not so sure about that." Coach said, shaking his head.
"Coach, he's been practicing and you said yourself a team is made up of bunch of parts."
Jay tried to convince Coach while Carlos tried to stop him from speaking.
"Jay, I'm not that good." Carlos said, but was ignored by him.
"Well, he's like my brain." Jay finished, smiling at Coach.
"You heard him."
Coach threw the spare Tourney Stick to Carlos.
I grinned at him. "You can do it, get out there." He looked at me and smiled shyly.
"Don't worry, bro. I got your back." Jay said as he looked at Carlos.
"What about my front?" He asked, making me and Jay laugh.
As the game progressed, I cheered as they won the game.
I ran to them and hugged Carlos.
Then pulled away at arms length and we stared at eachother.
He suddenly kissed me.
My eyes went wide and I couldn't react back because he quickly realized what he has done.
"(Y/N)! I-I'm sorry, I didn't know what I was--"
I cut him off and kissed him on the cheek.
We didn't say anything and just grinned at eachother happily.
"Excuse me!"
Carlos and I turned to Ben who is in the infront of the bleachers.
"Can I have your attention please?"
Everyone stopped cheering and focused on him.
"There's something I'd like to say!"
All of us looked at eachother and I crossed my arms, staring at Ben in confusion.
"Give me an M!"
He then made a letter M with his arms and body, the audience copying him.
I looked at Audrey confused.
Why is she smiling? Doesn't she know her name starts with the letter A?
"Give me an A!"
All of them made a letter A this time.
I just rolled my eyes and laughed at Carlos.
"Come on, (Y/N). Don't be a buzzkill."
I rolled my eyes again.
"Fine."
I copied Carlos and the others as Ben said the last letter.
"Give me an L! What does that spell?" Ben shouted at the microphone.
"MAL!" The crowd yelled, some are confused, especially Audrey.
He then started to sing with Carlos and the other members running to Ben.
What was in that cookie?
They also started dancing.
I didn't know that Carlos is so good at dancing, I thought as I stared at the boys in awe and joy.
I saw Ben was about to kiss Mal but she used his tourney uniform to block him.
"I love you, Mal!" Ben said as he put his arm around her shoulders.
Audrey dragged Chad towards the two lovebirds and grabbed the mic from Ben.
"Chad's my boyfriend now!"
I shook my head.
So childish.
"And I'm going to the coronation with him, so I don't need your pity date."
Audrey smirked at them, she then kissed Chad right on the lips.
Ben ignored Audrey and grabbed the mic back.
"Mal, would you go to the coronation with me?"
She pulled the mic to her mouth and yelled, "Yes!"
I cheered for Ben and Mal, as Audrey stormed away from them.
We surrounded around Jay and he was lifted up as he raises the trophy.
Carlos and I made eye-contact, the both of us looked away with a blush on our cheeks.
"Hey, are you free tomorrow?"
I glanced back at Carlos as he held my hand.
"Uh, yeah. I think so, why?"
"How about we go on a date?" He asked with the cutest puppy eyes I have ever seen.
No offense Dude.
"Okay."
I smiled up at him.
He hugged me and I hugged back.
"Cool! I'll pick you up at your dorm."
He kissed my cheek and ran towards the others.
Wait, I'm going on a date?!
With Carlos??
I'm going to need help...
