《Before I Forget - Eli Moskowitz -》Cicero

The moment Sky opened the door, Hawk's jaw dropped.
Holy shit she is pretty!
How did I get this lucky?
Sometimes it still hit him like a fucking wrecking ball - the sudden realization that he wasn't a pathetic nerd anymore. No, he was someone else entirely, he had been reborn, and he had shed off good old Eli Moskowitz like a snake sheds its skin.
Hawk sure as Hell didn't miss a single thing about the old him. Bye, bye Eli - He was Hawk now. He had spread his wings, jumped off the cliff, and the wind was carrying him into a life where he was strong, he was confident, he was badass.
Hell, he was the guy who got to fuck Sky O'Brian, the hottest girl he had ever seen - and that thought brought a cocky grin to his lips as he checked her out.
Sky was wearing a pair of comfy, pink sweats and a T-shirt with a picture of a My Little Pony, and Hawk's throat went dry as he noticed the shape of her chest under the shirt.
Shit, she's not wearing a bra?
Holy fuck, that's hot!
Those were her nipples he saw through the fabric, and the soft curve of her breast —and Oh God I'm staring at her boobs like a fucking idiot—
How she managed to destroy his cool and turn him into a blushing mess just by standing in front of him and giving him a knowing smirk, was beyond him.
"You're late," Sky said, leaning to the doorway, and Hawk forced himself to draw his eyes up to meet hers.
"Sorry," he swallowed once. Twice. "There was this dude at the minimart trying to buy beer with a fake ID, and it just took ages—"
"Sure that wasn't you?" Sky arched a brow. "Walter Hawkman?"
"No it wasn't, wait—" his cheeks were burning. "You mean you wanted me to bring beer?"
"Nah," Sky grinned. "We can always rob my father's liquor cabinet."
She let him in and closed the door behind them. As soon as Hawk had walked in, Napoleon emerged from the kitchen and approached him meowing, pushing himself against Hawk's legs demanding a scratch. Hawk obliged if only to get a distraction from Sky's boobs - why is it so hard not to look at them, jeez? The sight of her nipples through the shirt had made his pulse quicken and he was half-hard just for that.
"So, what do you wanna do?" he asked, his fingers buried in Napoleon's soft and fluffy fur. The small cat was purring happily, and circling his legs to get his full attention.
"You know, watch a movie, maybe order a pizza." Sky replied, and Hawk turned his eyes up.
Wait, what? She told me to bring condoms—?
"Just kidding," Sky laughed, noticing his confusion. "But hey, first things first. Let's get a drink."
"A drink?"
"What's the point of having the house for ourselves if we aren't gonna get drunk?" Sky shrugged. "Come on, I think my Dad still has a bottle of that amazing whiskey—"
That thought made Hawk rather nervous - he was suddenly reminded of Mr. O'Brian's stern look as he had told Hawk there shouldn't be any 'funny business' in Sky's room - and as Hawk hoped to perform all kinds of funny business with Sky tonight, he didn't want to add robbing Mr. O'Brian's whiskey into the list of his sins.
"Isn't he gonna notice?" Hawk asked as he followed her through the living room - Hello Julius Caesar, that huge bust always gave him the creeps - into her dad's office. Napoleon sneaked in with them and hopped onto a large, leather armchair in the corner.

"Nah," Sky replied. "He barely drinks, so I bet he has no idea what's in here—" the rest of that sentence was lost as she started checking the bottles in a wooden cabinet behind the desk. Hawk stuffed his hands in the pockets of his pants and turned to look at the picture frames on the wall after realizing that checking out Sky's ass as she was bent down like that, would soon make things rather uncomfortable for him.
Fucking teenage hormones.
If all she really wants to do is to watch a movie and order pizza, I'm gonna burst.
"Found it!" Sky's voice announced, and Hawk turned around to see her holding two glasses and a bottle with golden brown liquid. She poured a generous amount of the whiskey into the glasses, and then passed one to him.
"Cheers," she said and took a sip. Hawk did the same, and the whiskey burnt all the way down, making his eyes tear up.
"Were you looking at the photos?" Sky asked, walking to him.
"Oh, Yeah," Hawk replied, even if he honestly had barely noticed them. Now he took a look, though.
There was a large amount of framed photographs on the wall, most showing Sky at different stages of her life - a chubby baby with a pink bow on her almost bald head, a toddler on the beach eating sand, a little girl in pigtails jumping a rope and so on. There were also pictures of Sky's mom, and looking at them made Hawk feel weird because the resemblance was so striking. Sky was the spitting image of her mother, except for those green eyes that were identical to her dad's.
They had never talked about her mom, Hawk suddenly realized. He knew she was dead, but nothing more, and as he had sensed it might be a sensitive subject, he had never asked.
"Jeez, I used to look like a dork." Sky said with a laugh.
"I think you looked cute. I love the pigtails."
"Right," Sky rolled her eyes at him but blushed slightly.
"You look a lot like your Mom," Hawk noted, pointing at a picture where a redheaded woman was holding a baby he suspected was Sky. He wanted to ask her if she remembered her mother, and what had happened to her, but he didn't - it felt like an intrusion.
Sky simply shrugged, her eyes revealing nothing. "I guess so. Everyone tells me I do, but I've always thought I look more like Dad."
A small moment of silence. Hawk glanced at Sky, whose eyes were still in the photographs. She was silently sipping from the glass of golden liquid as if she actually enjoyed the taste.
Hawk only enjoyed the slight lightheadedness that he was already beginning to experience - he had no objections if Sky wanted to get drunk. A little drunk, not so much that she'd pass out and there would be no sex.
Though, it didn't look like there would be sex any time soon anyway. Sky was still looking at the photos with slightly furrowed brows and Hawk had no idea what went through her mind.
"Why is your Dad in Boston?" He asked after a lengthy silence.
Sky shrugged her slender shoulders and ran her fingers through her hair.
"For work. You know, before we moved here he was a Professor at Harvard. He still goes there sometimes to give a lecture or something."
Sky's eyes were always soft and full of pride when she talked about her dad, and it made Hawk smile too. He turned to look at a picture on the wall - it showed Sky with her Dad maybe a couple of years ago, standing in front of the Colosseum. Sky was super cute in her summer dress and braided hair, whereas Mr. O'Brian looked rather intimidating in a pair of slim-fitting black jeans and a T-shirt with a picture of a gladiator's helmet.

"Your Dad is kinda cool," he said. "I mean, for a historian he is surprisingly—"
"What, funny?"
"I was gonna say badass."
"Hah, well, that too." Sky laughed and drank some more of her whiskey. "He does a lot of sports, you know."
"Really?"
"Yeah," Sky glanced at him with a grin. "You wanna guess his sport?"
Hawk shook his head. "I've got nothing."
"Just... promise you won't laugh."
"I'm not gonna laugh!" he assured her. "Seriously, what does he do?"
"Fencing."
"Fencing?" Hawk repeated and barely managed not to laugh out loud. "Shit, you serious?"
"Just give him a sword and he'll slice you up like a piece of bread," Sky smirked, and Hawk licked his lips, suddenly nervous.
"Better not to anger him, then," he replied, sipping on his whiskey. It tasted like liquid fire, but he was slowly getting used to it, to the effect it had on him. His lips had begun to feel a bit numb.
"Well, it's a good thing he's not here," Sky said, and emptied her glass. "Because I have some things in my mind that he sure as hell wouldn't approve of."
"Like drinking his whiskey?"
"Among other things," Sky smirked.
Hawk finished his drink too and placed the glass on the desk. He was suddenly extremely aware of Sky's closeness, of her scent in the air, of the way her nipples showed through the T-shirt, the curve of her hip.
"Sky–" he began, but that sentence died on his lips as she took his hand and pulled him close.
It felt like she was a magnet, he felt the pull of an iron hook in his heart and it was impossible to resist. The moment their lips met, he was burning. Every instinct in his body told him to grab her, to push her against that wall, or to throw her on that desk and have her every way imaginable - Fuck - that had been the only thought in his mind since last Monday, through these endless days and nights when he'd been burning for her, burning to ashes every time she as much as looked at him.
No, shit, don't be a horny idiot!
You're gonna ruin everything—
He forced himself to keep the kiss soft and gentle as he buried his fingers into her hair. Her scent of vanilla, of strawberry shower gel, surrounded him and mixed with the burning taste of whiskey on her lips and his heart was in his throat, he felt the rapid, restless beat all the way to his fingertips.
Sky moaned softly as his tongue slipped into her mouth and met hers, and that sound made every coherent thought slip off Hawk's mind.
A flash of desire rushed through his core like a bolt of lighting, and the kiss grew deeper. His tongue tasted the roof of her mouth, the slick insides of her cheeks and he groaned into the kiss. She was so fucking small, her body so soft and hot as she bent against him, her breasts squeezed against his chest—
His heart was in his throat, making it hard even to draw in a breath, and fuck he wanted her so much that it was impossible to think about anything else. He forgot what they'd been talking about, forgot that they were in her dad's office, forgot that they were drinking Mr. O'Brian's whiskey and that he would slice Hawk into pieces with a sword if he ever found out what had happened here. It all became irrelevant, it ceased to exist, and all that he knew was the taste of her lips, the curve of her hip under his trembling touch.
Sky gasped when he pushed her against the wall, pinning her lithe form between the wall and his feverish body. The picture frames clattered and nearly fell off, but he didn't even notice, and neither did she. He knew she must feel the hardness of his erection, and he wanted for her to feel it, he wanted her to know what her closeness was doing to him, how bad he needed her.
Like she was the air he breathed, the light of a rising sun after living in the darkness for years.
He wanted her, everything about her, wanted her heart and her soul, her kisses and her love, wanted her trembling thighs around his hips, wanted to hear the sounds of her moans as he laid her down on the bed and fucked her—
His hands moved to her hips, fingers buried into the softness of her ass, and as his lips found her neck and started sucking the tender skin, her breathing turned fast and shallow. His hips were moving as if they had a will of their own, rubbing his dick against her belly, and Oh God it felt so good that he was groaning.
"Fuck, Sky—!"
"I love you," she breathed and her hands moved to his chest, sliding downwards making a whine escape his throat.
He felt her touch through the fabric of his shirt, burning his skin like hot coals. Gone was all the hesitation. His lips were back on hers, and she was moaning as he pushed her against the wall with force - until a pile of books next to her was knocked over and the heavy leather-covered volumes fell to the floor, along with a marble bust of some ancient Roman dude.
That made Sky gasp in horror and break the kiss.
"Shit!" she cried out and brought a hand to her lips. "It's Cicero! Oh God, I hope we didn't break him, my Dad's gonna freak out—!"
Marcus Tullius Cicero was lying on the floor, his cold, stone eyes looking up at them rather judgingly - but to Hawk's great relief he seemed to be in one piece.
"Maybe go somewhere else?" Hawk suggested throatily, turning his gaze back to Sky, who was still looking at the fallen books and poor Cicero wide-eyed, her cheeks burning.
Hawk's chest went tight. He wanted her so much it was impossible to think about anything else, and by God, if it came to that, he would take her right here, right now, against this wall, defying every ancient Roman and their judging death glares if he had to.
"Yeah, you're right," Sky replied with a giggle. "Let's go."
She took his hand, their fingers entwined, and he followed her out of the room.
