《Before I Forget - Eli Moskowitz -》It's not Rocket Science

"And?" Miguel asked, glancing at Hawk while still hitting the buttons of the control in his hands. "That's all you gonna tell us?"
It was Friday night, and they were at Miguel's, playing video games and just hanging out. The talk had turned to girls, which often happened, and Hawk had just revealed to Miguel and Demetri that he had finally gotten laid last Monday.
"Yeah," Hawk shrugged, his eyes on the screen. What had happened with Sky was private. Even if he wanted his friends to know that he wasn't a pathetic virgin anymore (unlike them), he wasn't gonna go into details.
"Come on," Miguel continued. "You gotta tell us something, man. Like, how was it? Was it... good?"
"Well what do you think?" Hawk smirked. "It was fucking awesome."
"Nice," Miguel laughed and seemed to be content with this level of information.
But Demetri, who held the other control, briefly glanced at Hawk and his brows arched high on his pale forehead.
"Was it awesome for her too?" He asked.
"Yeah," Hawk replied, though he didn't much care for Demetri's tone. "It was."
"Just saying that up to 80% of women fake an orgasm—"
Demetri's comment made anger flash in Hawk's chest, and he couldn't hide it as he spat out his response.
"Yeah? Well, I'm saying that more than 100% of women will never have sex with a smartass like you."
"That's actually mathematically impossible—"
"As is the fact that you'd ever get anywhere near to having sex," Hawk noted, grabbed a pillow from the couch, and threw it at Demetri, who barely managed to dodge. "You fuking nerd."
"Hey!" Said Miguel, glancing from Hawk to Demetri and back. "Guys, chill! Don't start throwing my Yaya's pillows—"
"That fucking pussy Demetri is implying that I can't please my girlfriend—"
"I'm not, okay?" Demetri said, rolling his eyes. "Just saying that girls do fake it sometimes."
"You know nothing about women, so why don't you just shut your mouth–" Hawk took a breath, as Miguel gave him a look. "Just... Sky wasn't faking it. I fucking know it."
"Okay," Demetri muttered. "I didn't mean she was."
A moment of silence. Demetri and Miguel were still hitting the buttons of their controls, and Hawk turned his eyes back to the screen where the battle was going on. Someone was being stabbed through the throat and blood splattered - Hawk hoped that was Demetri, but as he hadn't really paid attention to the game he couldn't be sure.
"How do you know it, though?" Demetri asked after a couple of minutes - clearly unable to leave this fascinating topic.
"If you must know," Hawk said with an eye roll. "I asked Sky how she likes to be touched, and then did it just as she told me to. It's not rocket science, you know."
Demetri's eyebrows arched high on his forehead. "That... might actually work."
Hawk rolled his eyes. "You think?"
Miguel and Demetri turned their attention back to the TV screen, concentrating on the game again, leaving Hawk thinking about the things he'd done with Sky. She couldn't have been faking it, right? That thought hadn't even slipped to his mind before Demetri's wise-ass comment, but now it felt difficult to shake it off. How would he know if she faked it or not? Maybe it was stupid to assume that he could actually please her... after all, what did he know about women or sex or anything? Maybe Sky hadn't liked it, maybe she had just decided to give in, to finally let Hawk out of his misery and have sex with him, and maybe she had faked her pleasure just to make him feel good about himself--
Advertisement
That thought had a bitter taste, and Hawk tried to get rid of it by licking his lips, but it was persistent.
No way she was faking it! She told me she liked it, and she has never lied to me.
Hawk remembered the throaty moans that had left Sky's lips as he had slid his fingers into her slickness. His heartbeat quickened as he thought about that - how he had rubbed her clit, making her tremble, and how she had become so wet and hot under that touch–
Oh God, just thinking about that made his throat swell so that it was hard to swallow.
That was real, it had to be real.
But I really have to stop thinking about this now!
The last thing he wanted was a raging boner in the presence of his friends, so he quickly pushed the thought of Sky's trembling thighs and the sweet, tightness of her cunt off his mind, and took some deep, calming breaths.
But the images didn't want to leave his mind. He wanted Sky so fucking bad, wanted now even more than before their first time. Now he knew what it would be like, and his own hand felt like a pale shadow compared to the amazing bliss of having her heat wrapped around his dick. It felt like no amount of masturbation could keep Hawk satisfied now - he needed the real thing, he needed her gorgeous body on top of him, or under him or against the wall or bent over a table, or–
He turned his attention back to the TV screen too, licked his lips, and forced himself to be interested in the video game, even if it took him a while to even realize which of the soldiers on the screen was Demetri and which Miguel. Not that he actually gave a crap who won this game. He just needed to get his thoughts under control, the images of naked Sky out of his mind, the sooner the better.
The game ended, apparently to Miguel's victory, and disappointed Demetri tossed his control to Hawk. He took it, and tried to switch his mind into gaming mode - he was still half-hard in his pants and his cheeks burned, as he desperately wished his friends wouldn't notice.
"So, about pleasing a girl..." Miguel said as Hawk was trying to figure out the controls. "Did you like... use your hands, or–?"
So, clearly, they weren't done with this topic - and again Hawk's mind was filled with images of Sky, the sounds she had made when he'd slid his fingers into her tight—
And let's not think about that.
Hawk glanced at Miguel and smirked. "No way I'm gonna tell you that!"
"It was a fair question," said Demetri. "You clearly have information on this subject. Information that might be beneficial to us too."
Hawk rolled his eyes and gave a dry laugh. "You're just gonna have to figure it out yourself, dickheads."
At that moment Hawk's phone buzzed. He pulled it out of his pocket, grateful for the interruption, and tossed the control back to Demetri.
The text was from Sky, and as he read it, Hawk's pulse skyrocketed.
: my dad says his flight from Boston is canceled and he's gonna have to stay the night
Hawk waited. The three moving dots told him there was more to come.
: you wanna come over? ❤️

He stared at his phone for a couple of heartbeats, a slow grin appearing on his lips. Somewhere Demetri was saying something about the game and how it was Hawk's turn, but Hawk barely heard him, and he couldn't have cared less.
"Are you listening to what I'm saying, like at all?" Demetri's annoyed voice cut through Hawk's thoughts, making him roll his eyes.
Lately, Demetri had been getting on his nerves a lot. He was just... such a nerd. An annoying nerd at that, and more often than not, Hawk couldn't remember why they even were friends.
Sometimes he was so annoyed by Demetri's constant prattle that it was hard not to punch him in the face to make him shut up. If he hadn't been so excited about Sky's message, he might have done just that.
But as it was, he thought that the mere fact that he was the one who wasn't a fucking pussy anymore, he was the one with a girlfriend, the one who was actually getting laid instead of just dreaming about it, would be enough.
With a cocky grin, he turned to look at his friends and showed them Sky's texts. "Guys, check this out."
"Okay," Demetri said, arching his brows. "Sky's asking you to her place. Like... for the whole night?"
"Yeah," Hawk replied, the grin on his lips spreading.
"Shit," Miguel laughed. "You're gonna get lucky."
Hawk stared at his phone, still grinning like an idiot.
"Looks like it," he smirked, suddenly feeling a lot more confident than a couple of minutes ago. She wouldn't send him a text like this if she didn't want sex, right? And that just had to mean she had liked it the last time, that she hadn't been faking it--
Hawk's mind was suddenly busy planning things - all the wonderful things he'd do to Sky in that fucking enormous four-poster bed he'd been thinking about for months now.
But first, he needed an alibi - there was no way in Hell Mom would let her spend the night at Sky's. Mom, who was so happy that he had a girlfriend, but who also seemed to think that he should never have sex with the said girlfriend. If that wasn't a fucking paradox, Hawk didn't know what was.
"Hey Miguel," he said while typing his answer to Sky. "You mind if I tell my Mom I'm staying here for the night?"
"Yeah, no problem," Miguel said. "But why me, and not Demetri?"
"Because my Mom has Demetri's Mom's number, but she doesn't know your mom."
"Quick thinking," Miguel replied.
"My Mom is still mad at me about the Canyon party," Demetri added with a sour tone. "I'm not prepared to lie to her about anything in the near future."
Hawk scoffed at Demetri's remark and sent a text to Sky.
: Hell yeah I wanna come over
you mean like the whole night?
: if you want to 💕
: more than anything
just gonna call my mom and tell her I'm staying at Miguel's
: lol sounds like a plan 🤗
wanna know what my dad told me?
: do I?
: he said that I absolutely can't ask you over, but if I do anyway, he doesn't want to know about it 🙈
: lmao 😂
your dad is great
: he certainly likes to think so 😅
I'm still happy he's not home
you coming soon? ❤️
: yeah
30 minutes
should I bring something?
: your body 🙈
😅
bring condoms
Just reading that last text was enough to fry Hawk's brain.
She wants my body. And condoms–
Luckily he had condoms in the pocket of his backpack. After last Monday's escapade, he had bought a huge amount of them, feeling rather optimistic about his chances of getting laid again.
He called his mom, who answered after the first ring.
"Hey, Eli," her warm voice said. "The dinner is almost ready, are you coming home soon?"
Hawk felt a sting in his heart for the lie he was about to tell, but Hell - he wasn't going to miss this chance with Sky.
"Actually, I'm still here at Miguel's and I was wondering if it was okay if I stayed here for the night."
"Oh," Mom's voice was surprised, but at least she didn't immediately tell him no. "Is there anybody else there?"
"Demetri's here too," Hawk said and switched to a video call. He turned the phone so that Mom saw Demetri and Miguel, who were still on the couch playing the video game. Both boys briefly glanced at Hawk and gave small smiles and waves to Mom on the screen.
"I meant, are there any adults?" Mom asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh, let me ask–"
"Hi, Mrs. Moskowitz! My Mom has a night shift at the hospital," Miguel said and put the video game on pause. "But my Yaya is here. I mean, my Grandmother."
"Okay," Mom replied. "So you live with your Grandmother, Miguel? That's nice. Can I talk to her?"
"Oh, sorry Mrs. Moskowitz, my Yaya doesn't really speak English."
That made Mom look suddenly embarrassed. "Oh, I see," she said and Hawk was suddenly super grateful for the fact that Mom didn't speak a word of Spanish.
"So, can I stay?" he asked, trying hard not to sound too hopeful.
"I guess that's okay. What are you going to do?"
She bought it! She fucking believed it!
Oh my God, I'm gonna spend a whole night with Sky–
"Nothing much," Hawk replied, his voice suddenly a bit throaty. "Just video games, I guess. Maybe order some pizza."
"Miguel's grandmother isn't going to cook dinner?"
"I don't know, maybe." Hawk shrugged, as indifferent as he could. Food was the last thing in his mind at the moment.
Mom gave him a sweet smile that told Hawk how genuinely happy she still was about the fact that he had friends, after watching his bitter and lonely existence for most of his life.
"Okay, have fun," Mom said, and Hawk almost whooped out of joy, still almost unable to believe his outstanding luck. He didn't even feel bad about lying to mom - he was getting used to it. After all, he was already hiding a giant tattoo from her, as well as the fact that he had a fake ID he'd used to purchase alcohol more than once. A night full of sex with his girlfriend? That was just one more thing Mom didn't need to know.
"Thanks, Mom," he said with an innocently happy smile. "I'll see you tomorrow."
What Mom didn't know, couldn't hurt her, right?

You have such an amazing way to make the words flow and unbelievable descriptions. Unique characters and a great story line. All the small clues and mystery in the humor and fantasy just makes the book perfect in my opinion. I read all chapters in two days! Less than 48 hours even! I'm REALLY looking forward to the next update, the world of Aethernea is so deep and well thought out, it's beautiful and magical. God I can't believe how creative you are, so many small details with so many families and stories everywhere. Purely fantastical, I admire you." - astro-logical from Wattpad "I love love love Aethernea so much! It is amazing how you created this new world with different creatures, magics, looks, illnesses, and evil! I was blown away by your explanation of the Mana pools and how to weave magic! Simply stunning really! You are one of my favorite authors and Wattpad and I am so glad I stumbled upon Aethernea because it is worth all of my time reading!" - Adriana_V_Blade from Wattpad "I absolutely am loving Aethernea so far. I am certain you belong in the ranks among J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Suzane Collinings, and many more great and wonderful authors. You opened up a whole new world for me, which only a few great authors have accomplished. While it's true I am pulled into each and every book, few are able to capture me to the point of inescapability. Though, somehow, you have managed this feat. I thank you for this and more! You are a wonderful author and can't wait for more to come!" - daughterofpercabeth7 from Wattpad "WOW! just caught Aethernea in gravity tales! Just when I was getting tired of most xianxia novels this appears and completely blows my mind! I really like the depth and the humorous touch you give the characters and it seems you have the storyline well thought out since you are always hinting about things in the past and the future. It has been such an enjoyable experience that I couldn't stop reading, finishing it in just one day and laughing my way through most of the episodes. But what keeps me so excited for what's coming is the magic system and the professions of the world you are creating. The magic mechanics have such a huge potential! They are simple but at the same time they open so many possibilities. Even though we still only understand the basics of transmutation and augmentation, I expect them to enable fights where there is need of quick thinking and skill, and not just brainless overpower of every opponent. In a way this makes me reminiscent about The Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson, which are one of my favorite series ever. The thing that sets Mistborn apart from any other series is that the mechanics are so well thought out that they could be used to create a super cool triple A video game and I cannot help but hope Aethernea reaches the same level or even surpass it. I really think it has that potential. Really hope this series gets the attention it deserves. As for me, Thursdays and Sundays just got a whole more exciting! =)" - AlexMLion "Your writing is fantastic and riveting, the chapters and character flow so smooth, and it captivates the reader with the many twist and turns that tricks one mind into thinking this is about to happen, when suddenly the exact opposite happens. You truly are in inspirational writer with a brilliant mind that can see and put words into chapters and into this one truly awesome book. Thank you!" - AshleyStaar from Wattpad "I loved this story, such detailed description and accurate words, both Kiel and Elaru completely caught my attention, your writing style is just beautiful and the plot is astounding and it's just the first episode! This kind of fantasy stories are my favourite, it has a lot of magic in it, rivalry and sense of humour." - BlackWhiteD from Wattpad

Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts.
