« We’ve presented the lore of Sky intentionally vague so that you can freely project your interpretation of it without being concretely right or wrong. »

Welcome! This book is about the lore and theories of Sky: Children of the Light, as well as some observations made by me and other people from the Sky Discord server
Feel free to discuss and create your own theories in the comments.
Want the Elder names? You’re in luck! The letters in brackets are Hebrew letters, which the Elders are named after:
Isle: Daleth (ד)
Prairie: Ayin (ע)
Forest: Teth (ט)
Valley: Samekh (ס)
Wasteland: Tsadi (צ)
Vault: Lamed (ל)
Prince: Alef (א)
King: Resh (ר)
The King is the presumed monarch of the Sky Kingdom. He is important to the lore, and is in game, just not in the way you’d expect. The little information about him comes from the concept arts and devs, so there’s lots of room for your personal headcanons. It is commonly accepted that the King is the Eden Elder. The Eden Elder is « not around to be saved anymore ».
The Prince is canon, it’s up to us how he affects the lore. In the concepts, he played many pivotal roles throughout the lore, I suggest reading them to find your favourite. We do not know if the Prince and King are separate or the same, that’s for you to decide! The Prince is also considered the Eden Elder at times.
« Prince and the King kind of exists, but we leave that up to you to interpret their roles in the lore »

Megabird is an elusive character. There is lots of conflicting theories and information from the concepts. Some believe they are like the god of the Sky world, others believe they are a personification of the universe/cycle of rebirth. There’s other theories, but we can get into it later. Reading the concepts would be useful to get an idea of Megabird, their development, and what they may be like in your theory.

^ possibly Megabird in the game
Power diamonds are those diamonds you light to open doors around the game. They play a big part in both the concepts and the current game. The canon information surrounding power diamonds is that they are related to the Sky Kingdom’s downfall.
Like all communities, Lore Chat has inside jokes that you probably don’t know about if you’re just joining us. Here are a few recurring ones:
- Bricky (a theorist) is the King
- Reika (Env artist) is the King
- Oreo (prairie 8 player area dog) is the King
- Megabird is often called ‘Megan’, a reference to one of Bricky’s typos when talking about it
- The King and The Prince are sometimes referred to by misspellings like « Kang », « Keng », and « Prenc »

He had been living in the sam duplex house for a year now and hadn't had any problems with the elderly woman who lived below him. She was a quiet and lovely neighbor. Until she died. Sike, I'm not that terrible guys. She just got put into an assisted living thing. Which meant the bottom floor was up for rent and it didn't take long for Izuku's landlord to find a new tenant, or tenants. Katsuki Bakugou and Shoto Todoroki were the two guys that moved in below Izuku. They were also in a band. A very loud band. Izuku was close to going crazy with all the noise he now had to live with and the two wouldn't quiet down, even after he asked, multiple times. Eventually, Izuku listens to them practice so much, one of their songs gets stuck in his head. He takes out the trash, not even realizing that he was singing it softly to himself. Until the two boys hear him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Izuku threw the bag into the dumpster on the side of the house, softly singing the lyrics that were now stuck in his head. "Hey, that's our song." A voice said from behind him. Izuku snapped his attention to the two guys sitting on the stairs of his front door. "It's stuck in my head because neither of you seem to have common courtesy to practice somewhere else." Izuku snapped back, not wanting to deal with either of the arrogant males.Shoto seemed unfazed by his attitude. "You've got a nice voice." He mused. Izuku eyed him suspiciously, not trusting his compliment. "Thanks I guess." He muttered. "Wanna join a band?"
