《Sky: CotL canon lore, theories, and observation》Timeline and Elders
Advertisement
The official timeline is something like this:
- The stars/elders fell from the sky (stars in the intro are confirmed as the elders by the devs)
- People who lived in the lands in the cloud found the elders and made them their leader
- Something happened, is related to the*
- The people who lived in the clouds die and became spirits.
- The elders either fled or gets locked inside a place outside of time and space by a deity named **
- Skykids are born (current)
Isle: Daleth (ד)
Prairie: Ayin (ע)
Forest: Teth (ט)
Valley: Samekh (ס)
Wasteland: Tsadi (צ)
Vault: Lamed (ל)
Prince: Alef (א)
King: Resh (ר)
PLEASE NOTE: These names have appeared in concept art and are often used when referring to the elders. They are not canon. They're used by the devs as placeholder names. They are fanon. Some theorists from the lore chat has stopped using these to prevent confusion for the newer lore moths, but they're still used by people.
From Japanese livestream 2, translated by Mochi-Daifuku
"The lights fallen from the sky in the opening cutscene were the elders."
"The elders know each other because they came from the same place as shown in the opening murals."
"The elders were elders from the beginning, and children of light will not grow up to be elders. Children of light are of new generation."
"Elders are very ancient. We don't know their age or birthdays, gender, or if age & gender existed."
"It's not that the elders are in the temples now when skykids visit there. The elders are deeply related to those places but they are not there now."
"The locations of [their] cutscenes are somewhere beyond space and time." (hage's observation: yet still affect the world, more below)
"The diamonds (hage's note: power diamonds/what we refer to as darkstone) [are] related to their downfall."
"The masks of forest and vault elders look similar because they are related."
"Valley was the center of an era when civilization flourished [...] the valley elders are twins."
"The current masks of elders represent what each of them is related to. E.g. Isle: Boat, Prairie: Pot, Forest: Diamond. The valley twins have simple comfortable masks because they are athletes."

Marrow
Marrow was old... older than me or you. Older than the nation he lived in. And older than anyone he knew. Which is not surprising, because he did not know anyone else. He had been sitting, or perhaps leaning is the more apt expression, in a closet for many, many years, and had done nothing but stare. But eating, or rather chewing, a spider opened up another world to him. A world with a voice that was talking to him - to HIM! Marrow did not get what the voice was saying, but that was secondary at this point. And Marrow started to feel restless. Nuff said. If you like a sometimes quirky skeleton as the main character and want to ride along for its coming of age, or perhaps rather coming of sapience story... give it a shot. It is a litrpg context with skills, levels, heroes and monsters... and a skeleton. Not sure yet how fast the skeleton will level... we'll have to wait and see. As a disclaimer... this is my secondary novel... my main story is ongoing and most of my time is dedicated to that. As such, new chapters will, at first, be rather infrequent and irregular. If things go well, I may shift more attention to the story, but we shall see how things go.

Threedak is a simple Dhajtel. Every night she scavenges and hunts for her tribe in the great desert, relying upon her skill and ancestral memories to avoid the night's many dangers. Her life remains largely the same until one night, one of the gleaming angels that hangs in the night sky falls into her desert. Deciding to investigate, she happens upon a scene far beyond her limited understanding. The Dhajtel aren't alone. The galaxy is far vaster and more hostile than Threedak's people can even begin to comprehend. Entrusted with the knowledge and memories of a dead race, it will be up to her to forge Dhajtel society into something that can survive the storm that is to come. - - -(This novel is heavy on Kingdom/Empire Building and is an attempt at fairly hard (grounded in real science) Science Fiction) Cover credit to DrakonStorm - - - A couple authors with reptile MC's have started a discord, feel free to hang out with us.

8 106Earth's First Dungeon
Reginald Montgomery was a high class Rules Lawyer, specializing in the 'art' of Min-Maxing a Character. He had been the secret behind the ability of the Guild 'Eternal Gamer' being able to obtain the World First Clears of various MMOs for the last five years. The political entities of the world had hidden the imminent approach of a gigantic meteor, of similar size to the one that theoretically wiped out the dinosaurs, until it was able to be spotted by high powered astronomical telescopes. The United Nations sends nukes into a crater located deep on the meteor, breaking it into millions of smaller fragments, except for around two areas, where there was a building that looked like an old school Roman temple and one where there was a giant metallic cube. The cube crashed into Reginald's backyard, and his 'gamer' senses were itching at the chance of supremely valuable loot. Upon investigating, he is injected with a control crystal for a 'Construction Core', but when it releases an extremely high density of pressurized mana, his body seizes up and the Core draws his mind into it before merging the control crystal back into the Core and retreating into the Cube and digging itself deeper. Two months later, Reginald becomes aware again, only to find out that nothing is as it was and he is now the Earth's First Dungeon...
