After all these times of repetitive let downs and heartaches,

I still can't help but let myself believe that everyone has the ability to change.

I empathise too much,

I can't see what's good for me.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt because I would've wished for the same in times of accidental incidents.

However,

The difference between you and I is I never intentionally carried out any acts.

You did.

You had no intention of changing.

You knew that,

Plucking violently at my brittle strings,

Taking advantage of my vulnerability and kindness.
