You silently drive to Lucas's house replaying the entire scenario in your head.

The more you thought about it the more this pit of emptiness built up

You finally pull into Lucas's driveway and exit your car

You knock on the door

Lucas's mom opens the door

She seemed almost surprised you were there

"Oh (y/n) come in" She says ushering you inside

"Is Lucas home" you said shocking yourself with the tone in your voice

It felt like you weren't even in control of your body

Like you were on autopilot while your thoughts slipped away

"Yess he is- uh I just want to apologize for telling your mom false information hunny. I didn't realize you had left the party" she says

"It's fine. I'm just gonna-" you motion towards Lucas's room

"Oh of course" she says watching you walk off

You walk down a hallways to Lucas's room.

You breathe out before knocking on the door

"Please leave me alone mom I don't want to talk to anyone" he replies

You open the door and walking frankly not caring

Lucas was laying in his bed staring at the ceiling when he looks and noticed you

His face was cleaned up but you could see scraps and bruises. The most prominent, his black eye.

"Oh sorry" he says sitting up suddenly nervous

"Oooo do I gotta bone to pick with you brother" you angrily say shutting the door

You sit down at his desk chair and Lucas remains seated on his bed

"(Y/n) just let me explain please" Lucas says

"Okay" You say

"Wait really?" He says

"Yea" you shrug wondering to yourself where all the anger went

"Okay uhhh... well I've had a crush on you.. for a while. Before you and Alessio were dating. I kept it lowkey" he says

"Okay" You say

"Well at first no one knew about it until Gio and Matt caught me on your Instagram more than once and bullied me into admitting it. They are the only two people that know. It's been that way since. Then the two of you started dating and I...well I don't know I felt weird. Alessio fans and my fans are connected so all I would see on my explorer page were pictures of the two of you. I stopped going on social media for a while. I also stopped hanging out and cut myself off from the world" he sighs

You didn't say anything

You had no idea how to respond to that

"Well eventually after seeing what happened with Vicky and Parker I decided to try to get over you. I started partying. A LOT. Hooking up with girls I had no interest in. The night of the party I tried to get Alessio to make it a guys night. He didn't budge. I even brought two girls to go skating with us because I wanted to feel validated in myself knowing you and Alessio were gonna be together in-front of me....but seeing you with him. Being happy and satisfied with each other made me feel disgusting for what I was doing. So I made them go home" he says

"So that's where those girls went" you say thinking about that day

"Yep. And then when we took you to the party I noticed you were both split up. And that made me feel so happy" he says looking down

"And you can hate me for this but I wanted you to be split up like that forever.... eventually you found him and you left together and blah blah blah.... I was so mad that you weren't leaving with me. But later then I saw the cops show up and everyone ran. My mom found out about the party and she knew i was there because of this *party phase* I was going through and she told me to tell her who I was with" he says

"And that's when I had the idea to get you into trouble. So I told her Alessio brought you there" he says

"And as soon as I said those words I felt awful. I knew I was about to ruin one of the best friendships I've ever had. But I was willing to lose Alessio in that moment if it meant I had a shot with you" he says

"After I found out you got away with it I was relieved. I figured we could just go on with life and not worry about it. I even started building myself back up realizing I care more about the respect for my friendship with Alessio than my own selfish desires. But you both found out and here we are" he says

"Yea here we are" you sigh

"I hope you find a place in your heart to forgive me" Lucas says looking up sniffling

"Lucas" you say as you both stand up and hug each other

You both sit on his bed

"I can't be mad at you for how you feel towards me. I know you can't help that." You say

"But Lucas!!! I love Alessio" you say

"And I know that hurts for you trust me. But all you needed to do was say something" you say

"Give me a heads up so I know to watch for PDA. I would respect that ten thousand percent more than you trying to break us up behind our backs" you say

"You realize you've ruined not only my trust but Alessio's right?" You say

"I know" he says fully crying at this point

"He probably hates me" Lucas says

"Don't worry. Alessio hates everyone right now...including me" you say

"Why" Lucas says looking up and sniffling

"I don't completely know to be honest" you sigh

You didn't even feel sad. You felt empty

"I just feel terrible. You went through so much between Parker and Vicky. And now I've started all of this" he says running his hands through his hair

"Lucas. I forgive you. I still want to be your friend and I still want things to be normal between all of us. But I need you get better" you say

"Find yourself a girl and get yourself into a position where you can talk to Alessio without both of you wanting you punch each other" you say

"It's hard" Lucas says

"The fact that your willing to forgive me makes me want you even more. And I hate to say that to you but what else could I be fucking up at this point" he says

"I understand Lucas and I get that it feels hard right now but you have to let the idea of me and you go. I know a girl who's been in love with you for a while" you say

"Is it Miya" Lucas jokes

"No" you giggle

"But she's smart, very pretty, kinda sassy, she dances, sings, and you've been friends for a while. Now she hasn't told me she likes you but as her friend I know she does" you say

"Kenzie?" He says

You don't say anything just make a face

"I didn't even know" he says looking down

"See! Your so hung up on a girl you can't have you didn't notice the amazing one you can" you say

After pulling out of Lucas's driveway you felt a little better

At least half of the problem had been solved

You still couldn't believe Alessio would disrespect you like that

After everything

He was your first

And he still labeled you as a hoe

For no reason

You didn't want to deal with that right now

You just wanted to get him out of your mind for the rest of the day

You pick up your phone and call Kenzie hoping to make plans

"Hey (y/n) are you okay?" Kenzie says immediately answering

"Yea I just left Lucas's house I've cleared the air with him"you say

"How was that?" She asks

"I expected to go off on him but it was actually good" you say

"So what's going on with his crush thingy" Kenzie says pretending to be half interested

"Well I kinda old him you like him" you say

"Well Alessio and I also got into it and you won't believe half of what happened" you say

You hang up the phone and head home

As you enter your house you smell really good food

"Hey (y/n)? I thought you were staying at Benjamins" you mom says yelling from the kitchen

"Oh well that's a bummer. So Alessio didn't take that well" she says

"What's that mean?" You mom says stirring the food around

"He got pissed at me. Accused me of liking Lucas back, and even called me a thot" you say

"Alessio?!" You mom says

"Awh it'll be okay baby I'm sure time will work it out" You mom says patting. Your leg

"Yea I just don't even want to think about it right now....which reminds me my friend Kenzie is coming over to do a girls night with me is that okay" You ask

"That's fine. I didn't know you'd be home so I didn't make a lot of food" your mom starts stressing

The doorbell rings

"Go get the door it's probably her" your mom says

"Or Alessio" you say eyes wide in realization

"Oh right" your mom says "Hunny get the door! If it's Alessio send him home"

"I'll send him home with a sore ass!" You dad says angrily

You hear the door open and your dad speak

"Ahhh you must be Kenzie" his voice was so kind

You laughed how how it changed so quickly

You head to the front door and greet Kenzie

"My room is upstairs" you say ushering her.

You both go up to your room and you close the door.

"You bother grab your things and head down the stairs

Your parents were in the kitchen eating

"Mom dad Kenzie and I are gonna go to a hang out is that okay?" You ask not entering the kitchen

"Yea be home by midnight" your mom says

"MoOom can we make it one tonight please" You say

"Okay fine one but if your late that will never happen again" she says

You do a victory woah and you and Kenzie leave

head to the entrance of what appears to be a night club

"There's a guard" you say

"Yes (y/n) how do you think they keep certain people from getting in" She says

"Well how are we gonna get in?" You say

You follow her past the line of people and directly to the guard

"Kenzie!! Nice to see you" the guard says

"How packed is it tonight?" Kenzie asks

"Well the bar is giving out free strawberry margaritas plus ASAP Rocky is rumored to be hittin up the stage tonight" he says

"So packed- get the corner for me and my girl" Kenzie says

She walks past the guard

You follow in shock

"Holy shit you just get to boss them around like that?!?" You say

"Yep. Now get ready it's about to be crazy" she says opening a second door

You were immediately hit with blue lazer lights streaming up and around the entire party

There was so many people

You were suprized by how most of them weren't grown

Kenzie grabs your hand as gyrating bodies swarm around you

You both weave through the people until Kenzie find a flight of stairs another guard was blocking

"You can't enter her miss" the guard says to Kenzie

"You must be new here. That corner room right there" she points up "Yea that's mine now move or I'll get your boss and trust me. Your boss doesn't like when I'm upset" she says

"You probly Don't even know who my boss is little thing" the guard says

"Really? Then why is Mandy's number on speed dial?" Kenzie says holding up her phone

"One click" She says raising an eyebrow

The guard looks around nervously and then let's the two of you through

"Thank you" Kenzie rolls her eyes walking up the steps

You both reach the corner and sit on one of the couches

"This is sick" You say looking around

The corner consisted of two couches and a table

On the table sits bucket full of various alcoholic beverages

Beyond the ropes of the corner was a railing and the steps you had previously came from.

You stand up and walk over to the railing while Kenzie pours herself a drink

You can see all the dancing bodies

"Here" Kenzie says handing you a glass

"I'm good" you say

"Your loss" she says shooting back both shots

She walks back bashing the ropes and you follow her

"Can we go down there yet?" You say

"Yea Yea gimme a sec I'm loosening up" she says pouring another shot

You grab a water bottle and take a sip

"K" she says finishing up

She grabs your hand and you both go back down to the dance floor

She pulls you into the pool of bodies

you watch Kenzie fit in comfortably with the people around her. A couple of guys even danced with her

You decide to just roll with it and dance as well.

You shake your hips to the rhythm of the music not caring about anything

You and Kenzie dance on each other laughing and goofing around

It felt good to not worry about anyone

Until the most unexpected song came on

You didn't really feel like dancing anymore so you weave through the people trying to get away

You anxiety was starting to kick in

All you could hear was his voice over the speakers

Until you could actually hear his voice

"No I'm trippin" you say to yourself finally breaking through all the people

You run back up to the secluded corner and take a drink of water

You stand there and breathe for a second before going to look over the balcony

You barley spot Kenzie right in the middle of the crowd

She was basically dry humping some random teen

You chuckle to yourself and turn to head back down

Then you spot him

Like actually spot him

Unintentionally

You storm down the stairs feeling furious

You weave through the crowd of people this time pushing them out of your way

Until you too right infront of him

He was standing over a girl tucking a piece of hair behind her ear

Your heart broke

"Oh my god" you turn way shoving yourself through the crowd of people. You had to leave

He instantly turns to you eyes wide
