Sebastians PoV
I watched, from where I was stood, Liliana rushed out of the room. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. I knew she had her worries about coming here but I promised her she'd be okay. I ended my speech quickly, not wanting to do this without Liliana here.
Seeing Jordan and Dom follow behind her made me feel relieved. She's not alone.
I would go and see if she's okay but I have things to sort out first.
A lot of fucking people think I'm a heartless, cold blooded killer and maybe I am. But to her, Liliana, I'm not. Sure she thinks I'm annoying as fuck and calls me an asshole all the fucking time, but I'd rather her think and call me that, than her thinking I'm some killing machine who doesn't give a fuck.
But I do give a fuck but only because she made me. She's the only person I care about and I plan to keep it that way.
Ten minutes later, she re-emerged with Dom and Jordan by her side. Leaving Isabella on her own, I made my way to where Valentina was stood. "You need to get Jordan out of here," I told her firmly. She looked at me in confusion as she took a sip of her drink.
"Why?"
A smile grew on my face. "That's what you'll find out. Now get rid of him."
Honestly, I don't even know who the fuck told him to come. I thought he said he didn't want anything to do with the mafia.
Without asking another question, she set her drink down on the table before she made a beeline towards him. I watched closely as they exchanged a few words before she began guiding him towards the exit.
I let out a sigh as it felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders.
I gave two men in my mafia a signal before they nodded their heads and disappeared. I stood on the small makeshift stage, practically demanding attention. All eyes were on me as mouths snapped shut, wanting to hear every word I have to say.
Isabella started making her way next to me. I shot her a glare making her stay where she was. She suddenly shrunk back and stopped moving. "Some of you may remember that seven years ago today, my wife was shot and forced to fake her death to stay sane and safe." Gasps and murmurs could be heard circling around the room. "Don't act like you didn't know. Seven fucking years is a long time. I can't believe that seven years ago today in this very same room, she almost died."

My eyes searched the crowd for Liliana, knowing she was probably nervous and terrified of being in this room again. Once my eyes connected with hers, I held eye contact before I broke it to scan the crowd.
"Now, that whole shit happened because of my crazy fucking mother," I spat out. Just on cue, the door was pushed open and the two men from my mafia walked in, holding my mother by each arm. "Just in time."
Liliana looked at me confused, her mouth agape and her eyes wide. "You want to do the honours?," I asked her, my eyes connecting with hers. Mutters and murmurs were all I could hear from the crowd as everyone looked around confused, wondering who I was talking to.
She didn't say a word as she pushed through the crowd making her way towards me. I never got the chance to look at her properly before. She looks fucking amazing. That can't even describe how amazing she looks right now.
"Sebastian, you can't!," Isabella said, as if what she said would change my mind and that her opinion matters to me.
The only persons opinions that matter to me is Liliana's. If she tells me not to kill her, then I'll try not to.
I ignored Isabella as I reached out to grab Liliana's hand to help her up on the makeshift stage. "You look breathtaking," I whispered in her ear.
And mouth watering but now is not the time nor the place to say that.
She didn't reply as I pulled away and glared at my mother. Liliana grabbed the knife she strapped onto her thigh and jammed it into my mothers stomach suddenly feeling a wave of confidence wash over her. I watched as Valeria flinched and let out a gasp, not expecting it.
"Oh Valeria, honey," Liliana said, sounding concerned. "Your death is gonna be a slow and painful one. I'll make sure of that." She shot her a wink as a smirk grew on her face.
"Take her away," I ordered the guys that brought her in. "We'll deal with her later." They nodded their heads and dragged her away, leaving a trail of blood following behind them.
"Now, for the main event," I spoke starting to sound amused. I slowly walked towards Isabella. I let out a tut sound.

"I'm really fucking happy we're not actually married," I shrugged. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "Oh wait, you didn't know?" Her confused expression didn't change as I glanced at Liliana.
"Isabella, honey, you really really should read documents before you sign them," Lili sighed out feigning sadness.
"Because of that bad habit of yours, everything is mine," I spoke.
"W-What?," she gasped out.
"All your businesses, your money, everything is mine and Liliana's," I chuckled out. Lili froze as she looked at me. I glanced her. "That's the surprise. The document I made you sign was to transfer all of her funds into your account."
A smile grew on her face. "Now, this is a sweet type of revenge," she chuckled.
"So-So our whole marriage was fake?," she said, her voice breaking.
"Just as fake as your pregnancy," I replied. "Probably even more."
"I-I love you! You love me," she exclaimed in the verge of tears.
"Now, that's where you're wrong," I chuckled dryly. "Funny story actually. I never loved you. I knew what I had to do and I've done it."
"If she never came back-."
"Oh don't start with that bullshit again!," I bellowed out in her face, making her shrink back even more. "I planned this even before she came back. This was meant to happen."
I grabbed my switchblade out of my pocket, the rubbing of the metal making a loud swishing noise. "What-What are you gonna do?," she asked as she looked at the knife nervously. "You won't hurt me."
"Won't I?"
Without another word, I grabbed her by the hair and pulled her towards me, flipping her around and causing her back to be against the front of me. I held the switchblade over her neck.
"I get this one, babe," I told Liliana.
"Okay. But can I just do one tiny thing?"
I raised an eyebrow, egging her on. She walked towards us until she was directly in front of Isabella. Before I knew it, her fist flew out and punched Isabella making her head slam back into me.
She could've given me a heads up so I could've let her fall.
A loud cracking noise filled the silence the room was carrying. Isabella let out a loud screeching scream. I could sense the fear and terror radiating off of the others. And that made me relax a little.
I lost some dignity and respect being with Isabella. Now, I've just gained it all back, maybe even some more.
She shook off her fist and gave me a smile. "I'm done."
"Good punch," I complimented. "You definitely broke something." She shot me a smile before backing away.
"Any final words?," I asked her. "No, actually you don't deserve that chance."
"Sebastian! Please no!," she begged, trying not to move her face as much as tears rolled down her cheeks.
A sickening smile grew on my face as the old me, the version of me before I met Liliana, surfaced. "Marcire all'inferno, cagna (Rot in hell, bitch)," I spat out as I pressed the switchblade into her neck before slicing it cleanly across.
I held my switchblade tightly as I took it out of her neck, before I dropped her body to the ground.
I turned to the crowd of people. "That's it from us!," I spoke, clapping my hands acting as if I didn't just kill anyone. "I hope you've enjoyed this evening as much as we have! Please make your way to the exit. The evening is over. Thanks for joining us."
Once they had left, Liliana turned to me. "She's dead?"
I nodded my head. "She is. You can finally breathe now."
She shook her head slowly, her confidence from earlier slipping away. "I won't be able to until Valeria is dead too."
"Better do it before you run out of air then."

World Master
Hey! I once lived on your world back in 2056. But that was a long time ago and there’s probably no records of my existence. Or, maybe, I haven’t even been born yet… …I’m still figuring out of the timelines correspond. Anyways, I was or will be, or whatever you want to call it (maybe I am?), John Pitcher, a resident at St. Jude’s Hospital for the Mentally Ill. I was a computer programmer and my parents had me admitted there because I was convinced that I had been contacted by Set, the Egyptian god of chaos, about creating a world. Well, apparently, I’m something akin to the great times a hundred grandson of over 10 000 gods, and they didn’t want me to live an ordinary, dull life (well, except for the god of normalcy, but he doesn’t count). Set gave me three years to prepare myself. This begins right at the end of those three years. [participant in the NaNoWriMo Royal Road challenge] I originally had this as part of the prologue, then I realized that it made a better synopsis. Please note: this might seem a bit clunky because I haven't done a lot of writing, and this is supposed to be a kind of prequel to another story that I plan on doing in the future. I will not be fully explaining everything but instead will be explaining things in that other story. This is mainly to help fill in the lore of the world so that people will have at least a basic idea of how things function. Regardless of that, that story won't be written for at least another year, so deal with it. Note: I am using ideas from several different authors in order to make sure that this can be a proper story. You may or may not recognize where I got them. I am not writing a Fanfiction and do not claim these as my own. I will add to a list of titles below as I find myself using those ideas. World Keeper (obviously) The Wandering Inn The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound (not yet, but eventually) A bunch of others that I haven't thought of yet
