It was the first ODI against WI. Everyone was very excited about it but the most excited were Rohit and Virat. Because they were playing together after so long. And Rohit was the full time captain which made it more special for them. Virat was excited like a kid for that. Everyone could see that especially Rahul bhai.

Rahul bhai was just enjoying with them. Having fun in practice sessions with Virat and Rohit. He just thought how heartwarming it was to see these two best friends nothing affected their friendship even the outside noise or their inside self struggles.

Virat and Rahul bhai were discussing something on the ground while Rohit went for the toss.

Virat's attention diverted from the discussion when he saw Rohit and Pollard together. He just mumbled - "Uggghhh .. I have to bother this now for all the 6 matches. Why does he need to stick to my Ro so much"

Jassi who was passing by heard that and went to Virat. He said calmly - "Bhaiya dont get affected by that" ..

Virat was shocked and denied - "No Jassi who says I am affected .. it is nothing" and Virat left from there mumbling something about Pollard.

Rahul bhai just wondering what had happened. He heard Virat mumbling that but did not understand why he was saying like this about opposite team captain.He saw Jassi shaking his head at Virat's antics.

Rahul bhai : "Jassi what exactly is going on here.. why Virat is saying like this about Pollard? What he has to bother for coming matches?"

Asked Rahul bhai having no clue about Virat's behaviour.

Jassi - Woh .. Rahul bhai ...

He was too nervous to say what was going in Virat bhai's mind.

Rahul bhai - Jassi u can tell me .. don't be nervous. I will not judge.

Said Rahul bhai calmly to him

Jassi - Actually bhai .. Virat bhai is jealous by closeness of Rohit bhai and Pollard.

Said Jassi finding it amusing as well as silly To say that To Rahul bhai

Rahul bhai - Really !!!! I can't believe this

Exclaimed Rahul bhai surprised and he had a very good laugh about it with Jassi.

They went to the dugout after that as India won the toss and they were fielding first. Virat was somewhat normal by now.

Soon the wickets were dropped and Pollard came to the strike. Rohit smiled at him. Then asked Chahal to bowl the over and also asked Virat to stand near slip.

Virat saw Rohit smiling at him. He went to Chahal and told him to bowl his famous googly. Again he told from the slip which was caught in stump mic - "Ulta wala dal .. bindass dal chauka-chakka Gaya toh koi dikkat nahi"

Rohit smiled at that and adjust the field according to that.

And that was it he bowled exactly as told and they got the wicket on the first ball and Pollard was out for a duck. Virat turned towards Rohit celebrated it like the achievement of the year or something.

Rahul bhai saw all this and smiled seeing that. It was almost last overs when Rohit dived to stop a ball. Virat got real angry at that move while Rishabh was shouting to take it easy.

Virat went to him and they were having a very animated conversation. Outside who will see that will assume that it was regarding some field setting but it was not. Rahul bhai was also seeing that but was not able to figure out what was going on.

Vi said angrily - Are u mad ?

Rohit said calmly having no clue - What did I do ?

Virat being angry that how stupid Rohit was stomped to the boundary line where he was fielding and stood there grumpily.

Rohit being clueless went to focus on the match. They had a decent total to chase and eventually they won the match. Rahul bhai saw how disheartened Virat was choosing that shot to play which costed him his wicket after playing two amazing boundaries. He went to him and they talked for a while regarding that.

Rahul bhai - Virat good call with Yuzi's delivery .. waise did u plan it prior because it was very fast of you to tell for the first ball that Pollard faced.

He said it as a question and wanted to know that whether he planned it because of his jealousy or something.

Virat being Virat said without thinking : ' Ofcourse bhai plan toh karunga na .. it just got executed early. Bada aya mere Ro se chipak raha tha (he mumbled the last part but Rahul bhai heard that)'

Rahul bhai chuckled at his expression and words. He looked so cute in jealousy. He just couldn't imagine that this 33 year old person who was super aggressive on the field was so childish off the field.

They went to the team room. Rahul bhai and Rohit were giving all the positive pointers and areas which they will improve. After they were done Rohit went to Virat who was sitting grumpily there. There were only the team and Rahul bhai .. other support staff were not present.

Rohit - What happened to in middle of the match ? You are asking me if I am mad or something like that ?

Asked Rohit being clueless about what had happened

Virat stood up and said angrily - What happened to me ? What were you doing diving like that on the ground ?

Everyone got attentive of the conversation. Rahul bhai was also shocked to see Virat shouting angrily.

He didn't know what had changed suddenly.

Rohit yelled back - What do u mean by diving ? There was a run to save.

Virat said sarcastically - It was second last over and the target was almost that we could chase .. Surya would have done it easily .. Am I right Sky ?

He looked at Surya and Surya didn't know what to say he just nodded. Everyone was amused by Virat's conversation no one was able to figure out why he was angry.

Rohit irritated now - How does it matter anyways ? Why are u so angry at that Vi ? Why are u so worked up regarding that ? I am really not getting it now.

Bhuvi and Rahul bhai went near Virat and tried calming him down.

Bhuvi - Calm down Vi

Rahul bhai - Virat what happened.. Why are u so worked up ?

Asked Rahul bhai calmly to get what it is exactly about

Virat still irritated and frustrated said completely ignoring Rohit who was also looking at him for answer - "Bhai he doesn't get it .. It was a run in the last overs .. mid mai hota toh kuch nahi bolta mai .. he just got recovered.. so I was .... Ummmmmm ... worried"

Rohit and everyone just realised what it was about. Everyone just adored the care between them both.

Rohit realising just said that - "Ohh"

Listening to that response Virat just stomped angrily and went into the team bus and sat at the last seat with his headphones on and eyes closed. Others also went to the bus after hearing that.

Rahul bhai said calmly - Rohit he was right .. You have to take care.

Rohit - I know bhai .. i just didnt realize .. ohh god !! I have big task now

Rahul bhai asked confused - What big task ?

Rohit - You dont know bhai how it is to handle grumpy Virat .. it takes so much time to convince him that I will not do it again and listen to him specially if it is related to caring for me.

Rahul bhai just smiled hearing that and told him u can do it ofcourse. They went to the bus and Rohit saw Virat sitting at last seat with Jassi beside him. As they reached to the hotel Virat went to his and Rohit's room. He freshened up and then went to balcony and sat there.

Rohit also did the same and came to the balcony taking a deep breath as he had to manofy his best friend now.

Rohit - Will you talk to me or look at me atleast ?

Virat just turned his face sulking.

Rohit - Arey I am sorry na .. I promise I will not be careless again.

Virat was still not budging.. Rohit poked him on his arm..

Rohit - Arey yaar Vi bola na sorry .. Virat was still angry but he was enjoying the attention

Rohit tried the last and the best way which could make him talk - Okay agar tu nahi baat kar raha toh mai Pollard ke paas ja raha hu

Rohit got up and reached to the door but stopped hearing Virat's voice.

Virat said angrily - Dont you dare go to him

Rohit said innocently - But u are not talking to me na

Virat - so what u will go to him ? Is it not enough that he sticks to u at the time of toss and presentation.

Rohit decided to tease him - What is wrong in that ? We are friends from MI na .. so it is normal

Virat angrily - ohh it is normal for u ha !! he took the pillow and started beating Rohit with it.

Rohit while laughing and trying to dodge the pillow - Acha acha sorry na it is not normal...

Virat - First say he is not your friend

Rohit - Vi he is my friend but you are my best friend .. no one can take your place.. who will scold me in front of everyone

Virat asked cutely - Promise ?

Rohit said sarcastically - Mummy promise !!!

Virat hugged him and said - "please dont do like this or be careless Ro .. take care of yourself plz. I want us to be together for every match"

Rohit hugged him back and said - "I am sorry for that and I promise I will be careful"

They had dinner and slept after talking about random things. Rahul bhai came to their room to check on them as they didnt came for dinner and saw Rohit holding Virat's hand and sleeping. He understood that they solved the fight.

Seeing them just got a smile on his face and recalling the whole day. How these two idiots were best friends - getting jealous for each other, supporting each other, caring for each other and fighting like kids.
