Virat just dropped the news to his teammates after informing to Rahul bhai, Mahi bhai and Rohit. Of course he knew that there will be disagreements. He remembers how Rohit scolded him and shouted at him when he told the decision.

Now he was standing in the middle of the room waiting for the reactions. Rahul bhai was by his side to support him. He was very thankful to him because Mahi bhai and Rohit were not here and he needed that big brother comfort.

Everyone was shocked and Rah shouted at him about how he can do this and everything. Rishabh and other kids had the same reactions. The seniors were also shocked but in the end after lot of explaining they understood.

What worried Virat the most that Jassi who always supported him was sitting there expressionless. Jassi came forward and said formally : "Thank you". After hearing this Virat was numb. Jassi just left the room without saying anything else or reacting. Everyone left the room one by one except Bhuvi.

Virat was standing there registering what had happened. Bhuvi came forward and shook him out of his thoughts. "Don't worry he will come around" said Bhuvi giving assurance. Virat just nodded and they moved towards their rooms.

Virat reached Jassi's room and knocked it. Sanjana opened it and came outside. She also looked sad. Virat was feeling really guilty now.

Virat just said : Jassi ?

Sanjana: Bhai he is inside sitting in balcony.

Virat : Did he say anything ?

Sanjana : No he came in the room and directly went there. He just said what u told. He is not talking to me bhai

Virat : I will talk to him. Can u go Nushkie and Vami till then ?

Sanjana: Yes .. Take care bhai

Virat moved to the room and went towards Jassi. He sat on the adjacent chair. Jassi noticed his presence but didn't say anything.

Virat softly: Can u look at me Jassi ?

Jassi : Bhai I don't want to talk right now

Virat softly tried again : Jassi just hear me out once plz

Jassi : I don't want to talk About it

Virat just sighed and left the room. Jassi just closes his eyes and lets his tears flow.

Virat went to Bhuvi's room. "Are u okay" asked Bhuvi as Virat entered

Virat asked : "Am I disturbing u ?"

Bhuvi shocked to hear Virat so formal : "Have u gone mad or what ? From when u are asking me like this?"

Virat sighed and let the tears drop : "Everything is changed bhuvi .. Jassi don't want to talk to me. Other kiddos are also angry.. I don't know what to do Bhuvi .. I miss Ro so much he would be there to explain Jassi .. I just cannot get myself to talk to Jassi .. he is so upset with me"

Bhuvi hugged him and said : "Everything will be okay Virat don't worry"

Bhuvi took Virat to Rahul bhai's room to make him understand. Virat just went with him and sat there beside Rahul bhai. Bhuvi excused himself for a call.

Bhuvi called Rohit. Thankfully rohit picked up.

Bhuvi directly coming to the point : Ro u need call Jassi and talk to him now

Rohit : Bhuvi take a breath .. and tell me what's wrong

Bhuvi explains to him how Jassi reacted and how Virat is feeling miserable because Jassi is not talking to him.

Rohit worried for Vi : Bhuvi u don't worry I will talk to Jassi .. u take care of Vi okay

Bhuvi ; okay

Meanwhile in Rahul bhai's room :

Virat was sitting silently thinking about the change of events. He was feeling lonely without Mahi bhai and Ro. Rahul bhai just side hugged him and consoled him that everything will be okay.

Virat just sat there laying his head on Rahul bhai's lap feeling the warmth. Rahul bhai was just wondering how much this kid has to go through. Rahul bhai softly : "Virat dont worry .. everything will fall in place just in time"

Virat just buried himself in the lap. Virat said : "Bhai I m really tensed .. do u think I have destroyed my relations because of this .. Jassi wont talk to me. I dont know how to talk to him. He is not ready to look at me"

Rahul bhai said softly caressing his head : "U know Virat in my long career I have learnt one thing .. That the records u make .. the milestones u achieve .. sometimes they dont matter .. what matters is the journey,relations and moments in that career .. u know why Jassi and other kids are feeling so bad .. because they are thinking that the protective shield on their head has been removed and they are scared to accept that .. because u were the person who would protect them at any cost... so give them some time they will come around"

Virat just nodded and hugged Bhai by his waist and buried himself in it crying softly. Rahul bhai just sat there giving him the comfort and warmth of big brother he requires. He was rubbing his back and calming him.

Bhuvi came there and saw Rahul bhai consoling Virat. He just silently sat there supporting him.

In Jassi's room:

He was still sobbing a bit when he recieved call from his Rohit bhai. He immediately picked it up and directly started the conversation: "Bhai please tell Virat bhai to take his decision back plz bhai .. only u and Mahi bhai can do this... please do it bhai plz"

Rohit just sighed and told him calmly: "Jassi .. calm down kiddo .. I know it's difficult but u have to also understand that Virat have given it a lot of thought.. do u really think it was easy for him. And most importantly that do u think he was your captain first .. he is your bhai first the elder brother who will be always there for u.. so don't be scared or upset about it bacha .. he will be always there by your side"

Jassi just nodded and said : "Bhai I made him very upset I didn't talk to him .. now do u think I will forgive me"

Rohit softly : Jassi just go talk to him .. he is miserable without u .. And he is in Rahul bhai's room

Jassi said : Thank u bhai and ran towards Rahul bhai's room

When Jassi reached Rahul bhai's room he knocked softly. After getting come in he entered inside. He saw how vulnerable Virat was.

Jassi called softly : Virat bhai

Virat loosened his hold from Rahul bhai and looked towards Jassi standing guilty with tears in his eyes.

Virat moved towards him.

Jassi hugged him : I am really sorry bhai .. I would have respected ur decision. I got scared bhai .. I debuted under you .. so u leaving captaincy is very hard for me. But I understand that u have taken this decision considering everything in ur mind and I respect that .. I am really sorry .. don't be sad or angry with me

Virat patted his back : Jassi I am not angry at u bacha .. I understand your emotions. I just thought that I lost u 🥺

Jassi broke the hug : No bhai u would never lose me.

Virat just smiled and hugged him again. He mentally thanked Ro because he knew that he is the only person who made Jassi understand.
