As Rahul bhai joined the team as coach he was simply observing everything rather than jumping on decisions. His thought process was to better observe first how the bonding in the team was. He had heard from Mahi most of the times how everyone was with each other. But to witness it and hear about it was completely different experience.

ICT gathered for the morning breakfast. Everyone was present there except Rohit. Rahul bhai got worried may be he was sick or something. But as he glanced no one was worried.He thought to ask Virat who just arrived.

Rahul bhai : Virat where is Rohit ? Is he okay ?

Virat casually : Yes bhai .. what will happen to him ? he is okay.

Rahul bhai : No I mean he is not here for breakfast. Is he sick or something ?

Just as Virat was about to answer. Rohit barged in anger as he was drenched from head to toe. "Vi .. I will kill you .. What is wrong with you ? Is this any way to wake any person ? You are a father now still you have not gain any decency." shouted Rohit. Virat was just grinning like an idiot after seeing Rohit drenched.

"What should I do ? I have spent nearly an hour to wake you up. Now rather than arguing with me .. Go get ready and come for breakfast." said Virat casually as if it is no big deal for him. "Yess Ro .. go n change you are looking like a soaked bear" said Jaddu and hi-fied Virat.

"You both .. I am not talking to you .. Specially you Vi !!" said Rohit in anger and left the dining room. "Arey Ro wait yaar .. I was just messing arround .. Sorry Ro" Virat said and went after Ro.

Rahul bhai was just shocked to witness this exchange. He had no idea what to say. He never imagined that Virat would do that Rohit. He turned towards the team but everyone was acting like nothing happened.

Rahul bhai : Bhuvi,Ash should we do something ? To solve this.

Ash : Arey bhai dont worry .. this happens almost like everyday.

Bhuvi : Yes bhai .. we don't need to solve this. It will be automatically solved in 5-10 mins. You will see.

Rahul bhai : So you are telling me this was not a serious fight ?

Bhuvi : Bhai you will get to know a serious fight or if they are disturbed .. This is just a kiddish fight which happens regularly.

Just then Virat and Rohit came in the dining room laughing over something as if nothing happened 15 mins before.

"Ro chal yaar breakfast karte hai .. mujhe bahot bhuk lagi hai .. kabse wait kar raha tha teraa aur tu so raha tha" Virat said as he was dragging him along .. "ha Vi chal toh raha hu ..tu na humesha mere neend ke peeche hi rehta hai " said Rohit. And just how the bickering continues as they eat breakfast together.

Rahul bhai was again shocked at the sight. He looked at Bhuvi and Ash as they were gesturing to him "Told you so". Rahul bhai just sighed he could never imagine that this was the aggressive Virat on the field and here he is a complete different person. Ofcourse he knew him but to witness it this close was different.

After some days Rahul bhai has got used to RohiRat banters, Virat being over protective of the kids in the team and the kiddos bonding with the seniors. This all was just heartwarming to see for him.

The team was having net practice before the upcoming match. Rahul bhai was with Rohit discussing on something. Usually it is the three of them but today Virat was first time late for practice. Rohit was also a bit disturbed. Rahul bhai could sense Rohit being unusually quiet.

Rohit thinking : I dont know what's wrong with Vi .. He still has not arrived for practice. He is always on time. He did not had last night dinner and breakfast reasoning he was not hungry .. How did I get such stubborn best friend. How should I tell Rahul bhai that we should discuss this later i really want to check on Virat.

Rahul bhai nudged Rohit to get out of his thoughts.

"Whats wrong Rohit ? You look disturbed. Is there anything you need to share ? Also I see Virat has not yet arrived ?" asked Rahul bhai calmly.

"I dont know Bhai .. I need to check on him. It is very rare for Vi to be late. From yesterday night he has been disturbed and he did not have his meals properly. So can we discuss this later. " saying this Rahul bhai and Rohit both arrived outside Virat's room where they found Jaddu,Ash and Bhuvi who were also there to check on Virat seeing Rohit was busy.

Rohit : Why are u all outside ? When did u come here ?

Bhuvi : We just came to check on him .. Virat's door is locked .. Open it with the spare key. You are having it right ? We were just about to call you ..

Ash : Ya open it fast .. dont know what's wrong ..

Rohit opened it with spare key and went inside with others. They found Virat getting up from the bed and was about to fall down. Rohit rushed to him and made him sit in half lying position with support of the bed. "Vi whats wrong .. Are u okay ?" asked Rohit.

Virat was half conscious and everything was fuzzy to him. Rohit just cupped his cheeks to get his attention then he realized he was having fever. "Ash call physio he is having fever" said Rohit covering Virat with blanket and sitting beside him.

"Vi .. are having headache ? Vi .." asked Rohit and Virat just nodded his head. Just then physio arrived .. "He is having fever and also he is not taking his meals properly.. I advised him yesterday about it but he denied because he was not feeling like eating anything." He gave him injection to reduce the fever and left the room. Virat just shifted himself in Rohit's lap feeling the comfort.

Rahul bhai was just surprised to see so much of care and affection between Virat and the senior guys specially Rohit and Virat. Mostly he saw only the bickering they do. This was the first time he was seeing so much care between them.

Bhuvi and Ash went to get food for Virat as advised by Physio. Jaddu went on the ground as juniors will get worried. Rohit was sitting there massaging Virat's head to ease his pain.

Ash and Bhuvi arrived and kept everything. They went to balcony where Rahul bhai was sitting thinking about everything and waiting for Virat to wake up. "What are u thinking Bhai ?" Asked Ash

"I was thinking when Bhuvi told me that I will understand if there is any serious situation.. Rohit and Virat's demeanour changes .. I can't help but think how much they care for each other and team" said Rahul bhai

"Yes that's true Bhai .. They are always like this fighting over some silly reason and then caring for each other more than that" said Bhuvi

After two hours Virat woke up .. Rohit helped him up to sit properly. Ash, Bhuvi, Rahul bhai asked about how he was feeling.. "Feeling somewhat better" replied Virat. Rohit was just giving him silent treatment.

Virat : Ro ! Rohit !! Will u talk to me ?

Rohit formally : Have ur food first .. u need to take tablets ..

Rahul bhai was confused about Rohit's behaviour as he was immensely worried about Virat earlier and now he was not talking to him.

Virat stubborn: I am not gonna have it as u are not talking to me and besides .. I don't feel like having anything right now

Rohit being worried and said sternly: Stop behaving like a kid and have your food. Didn't it come to your mind to tell me about your fever and that u have consulted physio. You are an idiot when it comes to taking care of yourself .. I am gonna complain about u to Mahi bhai

Virat catching his ears : Sorry na Ro .. don't complain to Mahi bhai .. he will scold me more .. I promise from next time I will tell u .. sorry

Rahul bhai was amused to watch how Rohit was scolding Virat like a big brother.

Rohit just hugged him and fed him some fruit juice as he didn't feel like eating anything due to fever. Virat just slept again due to weakness.

Rahul bhai just knew now that this is not a team but a family where they have this two idiot best friends.
