Mahi was sitting silently thinking what did he miss .. what was Rohit hiding from me. His thoughts were broken by the door bell. Bhuvi went to get the door.
Mahi asked and went to the door - "Who is it?"
There stood Jaddu and Shikhar outside followed by Virat's brother. Mahi asked angrily to Jaddu and Shikh ignoring Virat's brother - "What are you both doing here"
Jaddu said hesitantly- "Bhai we are sorry .. we realised and came to meet Virat and ask for forgiveness bhai .. we are sorry plz"
Mahi was about to shout again when Jammy came there and told him to calm down. Jammy said - "It will be Virat's decision to forgive u or not .. come inside" he said calmly not wanting to drag the matter.
Mahi asked - Jammy bhai why u said like this ?
Jammy bhai - "Mahi it is important for Virat to forgive them because he has to play with the team .. it will only make it easier for him .. I don't know if he forgives now or afterwards .."
Mahi nodded in understanding. Jaddu and Shikhar just waited to see Virat. Virat's brother just stood in corner in guilt.
Meanwhile in the room -
Rohit asked Virat who was lost in thoughts- "What are u thinking Vi ?"
Virat answered - "Kuch nahi Ro"
Rohit said - "Why are u hiding things from me ? Bhai I understand.. okay .. no need to pretend infront of me"
Virat just kept his head on his shoulder and said - "I am really scared Ro .. what if everything does not get normal .. what if everyone leave me as Rishi said .. u remember na how Mahi bhai said once before that he regrets getting close to me .. what if it gets true and he leave me ... what if I will not be able to play again .. this thoughts are terrifying me" he got really emotional regarding all this.

Rohit said softly - "Tu aise Kyu soch raha hai Vi .. don't take stress it's not good for ur health .. aur rahi baat Mahi bhai ki toh aise ho nahi sakta ki wo kuch regret kare that day he said all in anger"
Virat just sighed and said - "Pata nhi Ro"
They got interrupted when Mahi entered the room. Mahi asked - "Kya baatein ho rahi hai mere bina .. Cheeku u okay?" Virat answered - "Yes bhai dont worry" .. Mahi began hesitantly - "Cheeku .. Your brother, Jaddu and Shikh are here to see you .. Do u wanna meet them?"
Virat got stiff on his brother's mention and Rohit sensed that. Rohit went outside followed by Mahi and yelled at them directly - "He does not want to meet you .. u can go from here"
Mahi kept his hand on Rohit's shoulder to calm him down but he didnt.
Virat's brother - "Its not your right to say that .. Virat will decided it if he wants to meet me or not"
Rohit shouted angrily - "What do u think of yourself ha .. jab man kiya tab dur kar diya aur ab jab u have watched the news .. u have come here to apologize"
Virat's brother in the same tone - Why are u interfering ? Let me talk to Virat ..
Everyone was watching it helplessly. Suddenly they heard Virat's voice from the room - "Rohit"
Rohit rushed back to the room and saw Virat hugging himself and curled into a ball with tears in his eyes. Rohit sat beside him and asked - "Kya hua Vi"
Everyone came by now in the room. Rohit calmly and softly held Virat. Rohit asked - "Is your body aching?" to which Virat nodded. Virat's brother got closer and called - "Cheeku"
Virat just shifted closer to Rohit and said - "Please leave from here .. i dont wanna talk now" ..

Jaddu interrupted - "Veer just listen to us"
Virat said in voice full of pain - "Please leave .. i dont wanna talk to anyone .. please leave me alone"
Rohit also got up to leave as he thought Virat needs rest but Virat got terrified and said immediately - "Ro don't go"
Mahi told Jaddu,Shikh and Virat's brother to leave and also others left. Mahi didn't go because he wanted to help his Cheeku and know the reason of why he was hiding his pain.
He just sat there on the couch.
Virat just mumbled hiding himself in Rohit's lap - "Why are the doing this Ro ? I don't wanna talk to them ? I can't do it Ro .. I cannot forget everything.."
Rohit just rubbed his back and said - "Then don't Vi .. please calm down .. u should not take stress okay .."
Rohit just patted his head so that could atleast drift off to sleep. As Virat was exhausted he slept after some time. Rohit made him lay down properly on bed.
He went towards Mahi and sat beside him.
Rohit kept his head on his shoulder. Mahi asked - "Kya hua Ro ?"
Rohit - "Bhai when we will get our Vi back .. the stupid best friend and little brother.. I am too worried for him .. I never saw him so scared"
Mahi asked softly - "What is he scared about Ro ?"
Rohit said - "U didn't hear bhai what Rishi said while choking him - He said that everyone will leave him and he will be all alone. Unfortunately Virat remembers that. He is scared that everyone will leave him .. mostly you .. he didn't forget the regret thing u said in anger .. so he fears that what if it happens again .."
Mahi was just listening to him silently. He so regretted his words that he said in anger that day.
Mahi just replied softly - "Ro we will make sure that we stay with him okay .. we will bring our Virat back .. We will do it together"
Rohit nodded and sat there for a while. Mahi felt a weight on his shoulder and noticed that Rohit slept. He made him sleep properly on the couch and then sat beside Virat.
He sat there caressing his hair and Virat just unknowingly leaned into the touch and moved closer to Mahi in his sleep.
Mahi just said - "I promise u Cheeku I will make everything okay for u"

Quest of the Seal Bearers - Book 1: The Warriors Return
On the distant world of Mendala, a rash of mysterious attacks have left many towns destroyed, and there are rumors of an army of monsters. Fantasma, leader of the global government, and his colleagues are determined to find cause of these attacks. but the search for answers points them to an ancient relic, The Book of War, a cursed artifact that can create indestructible creatures loyal to its master. It’s been over twelve thousand years since the Book of War was last opened. It was believed to be destroyed during the Great War by the Twelve Warriors and Daughter of the Sun at the cost of their lives. Now, it seems the book has resurfaced, and its new master is seeking to forever tip the balance of power. The stage is being set for another Great War but who can stop the Book of War once and for all? Meanwhile on Earth, the teen members of Greengale’s Action and Adventure Club are preparing for their yearly trip when they suddenly stumble upon a secret their parents have been keeping for years. Now their world is being turned upside down as they struggle to understand the legacy that ties their fate to Mendala and the Book of War. Is their destiny set in stone, or will they forge a different path? No matter what, their choices will bring forth a new era for Mendala. ------------------------------ If you love vast fantasy worlds, rich, fleshed-out characters, and a adventure where your'e constantly discovering new things along the way, then this is definitely a story you'll enjoy. This is a slow-burn high fantasy / adventure with many characters and intersecting plotlines. It’s a quest so lots of adventuring, exploring, and character moments, but not a ton of fighting/action (though there are definitely some great fight scenes as payoff to the buildup). Because it’s a fantasy world with lots of people and new concepts, I try to make it easy so that you don’t have to memorize anything. The narrative will constantly remind you of important people/places/concepts as you keep moving forward. Some things won’t be fully explained right at the beginning to avoid information overload. My goal is that the reader will learn things organically as the story progresses. I use two mechanisms to help with the intersecting plotlines. - Each chapter is named for the (main) plotline it’s following and which part. - At the beginning of the chapter, and anytime there is a scene shift, the location is listed. Also, though this is definitely a portal-fantasy (isekai) it’s different from the standard isekai, especially since the world transfer doesn’t happen immediately. It’s not Lit-RPG but characters gain powers and grow over time. Also, it’s a group of teens that transfer, not just one central character. All of the teens are distinct characters, with their own character-arcs, relationships, powers, growth etc. Hopefully you’ll find this interesting as you’ll see the world and story from multiple perspectives. The story is always in 3rd Person (Omniscient) POV so that it’s not jarring as perspectives shift.
